Black rock restaurant is an easygoing dining restaurant situated across the street from the beach front in Clacton on sea. We focus on a trendy steak and grill menu.

Our menu is inspired from different countries but our speciality here at Black rock is the ‘STEAK ON THE STONE’ the concept is from the island of Madeira amongst other places. The restaurant is guest orientated and the service is relaxed, very friendly; nothing is too much and always willing to assist you in any means way.

Black rock is a great place to eat, excellent atmosphere, great tasting food and we take pride in delivering exceptional service using the highest quality of local ingredients the best cuts of steaks and a great selection of exciting cocktails.

Legit 10/10 for everything We just has thee best experience tonight Myself my mum sister and my little girl (15 months) Went to celebrate mum's birthday. They made her feel special she had a little birthday plaque. Because we are before 7 my daughter are free. I had th pulled pork steamed buns literally so much food and tasted amazing. My sister had the salmon she said it was so yummy and so well presented and mum has the sirloin steak on the rock comes out sizzling and then you finish it she had chunky chips and three dipping sauces the steak was beautiful so flavoursome We all had a cocktail also r ally nice and the desert was insane too ! The service was wonderful so attentive friendly and informative Already on the girls chat saying we need to go! Thank you we will be back

First time visiting restaurant and didn’t disappoint food was excellent ,very friendly service . Steak cooked perfectly and a bonus that kids eat free . If I had any negative comments would be that ordered the peppercorn sauce to accompany steak but was more like a salad dressing

I had the sea bass which I enjoyed but my husband had the stake which he word he had better from you so disappointed for him
