Black Rock Bar & Grill, an award winning steakhouse specializing in certified angus beef steaks served on a sizzling stone. Due to our high volume and traffic, we cannot hold tables for parties like a reservation system. We have a system called Priority Seating. This system secures a table within our restaurant, however, it does not guarantee an exact seat by time. Priority is placed on your party, and if we are on a wait, your party is placed on top of the wait list as a priority. We will seat you as fast as possible, but cannot guarantee an exact time. If the restaurant is not busy, we will seat the party upon arrival.

    We selected Priority Seating for our grandsons birthday dinner and we were seated within minutes after arriving. Our server was nice and attentive to us even though she has several other large groups. The food was was tasty. Black rock is a little pricy but that is where our grandson wanted to go for his Birthday. I would highly recommend Black Rock as an excellent place to dine.

    We had a great time at Black Rock. Our food was excellent. Our service was awesome. Our waitress, Beth, was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

    Perhaps it was what we ordered, but we were not impressed. Use priority seating on weekend if you choose to go.

    We went at 5:45 on a Sunday. It was NOT busy. The place was filthy. There were literally fries on the floor. People walked by with brooms but no one stopped to pick them up. The service was so slow. Waited 15 minutes for a refill on the wine. Apps were tasty but no plates given to put them on (there were 5 of us), the bruschetta was very tasty but the bread was so thin it wouldn’t hold the tomatoes (not joking, it all broke when we tried to put the topping on). Menus were greasy, could see my finger prints on it. Food was ok. Not anything great or unusual. Best part was the 3.50 Sunday drink specials when they finally arrived. I will not be going back.

    It was our first time at Black Rock to celebrate my husband’s birthday and loved it. Our server was outstanding, the ambience was lively, but not obnoxious, and the food was great! My daughter and I shared a 12 ounce steak meal. Steak was amazing and the sides were huge.

    Priority seating helped make our wait shorter on a busy night, was able to accommodate a party of 6. Servers were excellent, food delicious! Only negative due to the crowd noise level was high.

    Reserved the open table one week in advance. Arrived about 20 minutes early and put our name in. We were buzzed for our table at the exact time of our reservation. Staff was friendly and attentive. The waitress was super nice. She had an accident in the kitchen with two of our parties plates and they had fallen off cart and shattered, so they had to fix their meals again. She explained, apologized and brought them out as soon as possible and told them she would take their appetizer off their bill. That was nice that she offered that for the inconvenience. Very Nice evening and great food!

    Smoky and smelly environment. The brussel sprouts and lobster dip were so greasy - barely edible. Poorly trained wait staff - our waiter didn’t know how to open a bottle of wine. We will not be returning!

    Birthday meal, had great service, great price for all you got. Enjoyed cooking our own steak and seafood. Everything from appetizers to dessert was delicious!

    I’m glad I put in a reservation! When my girlfriend and I arrived the lobby, entryway and outdoor front were packed with patrons. We didn’t wait long after our time (5 mins) and were seated. The staff was definitely overwhelmed but our waitress was very attentive. The food is always good and we love the option to cook at our table. Definitely a fave but may have to avoid those prime hours most people try to get.

    Literally booked while on the road. Showed up and had a minimal wait, definitely got seated prior to others who had not utilized OpenTable. Service was excellent, apps delivered quite quickly. Food was wonderful. Definitely recommend. Quite surprised at the bill, was expecting a much higher price for what we had. Not going to complain about a great value!

    Everything was greasy, my steak was cold and tough. The waiter took it back , even though it was warmed up it was still a very tough piece of meat to chew.

    Food was great! I recommend doing priority seating the normal wait time was 40 min and this was not busy time. We waited 20 min from the time we check in just enough time to enjoy a drink. When we left at 6:00 it was really busy.

    Fun place for a good meal with excellent service from Chris our waiter! Food was very good and cooking steak by the bite was enjoyable and very tasty. Would not recommend bubbling shrimp but that is personal - if like heavy flavor similar to teriyaki, you will enjoy it. Salads were generous size, very fresh! Coconut shrimp and salmon also perfectly done. All definitely worth the wait and we will definitely return.

    Priority seating worked well. Set up online for 4:15. Arrived at 4:05 and were seated at 4:12. Jumbo shrimp was delicious. I had the kitchen chef cook the shrimp. The Rock chicken sandwich was very good. Service was fast and also received our food fast. Possibly early seating was the key. Very satisfied!

    If you want a meal that is an experience, if you want something over the top delicious and you don't mind paying for it, go to Black Rock. It is that "extra special" something. Oh, they have their appetizers that can be a meal. They have to-DIE-for desserts, but cooking your food yourself on a super-heated rock is very different. They will cook it if you don't feel safe, but you might miss a smidgen of the experience! Regardless, do not miss it. Take your big wallet. Dinner for 2 with drinks was over $100. Dinner for 6 (included 3 separate full appetizers, 6 entrees and a dessert that serves 6 (or 8, if all of you are as stuffed as we were), including tip was $240. Truly exceptional-food and experience For The Win. Thanks BlackRock.
