Enjoyable food and ambience service good only 1 slight hiccup was our waitress didn’t return to pour our wine during our whole meal and we needed to ask at the end of our meal

I proposed to my partner that night and wanted to take her to dinner to celebrate. I emailed black hide this information and they stated that they would do something special, I followed up the day prior to make sure they did not forget and they replied that they will ensure they do something special. The entire dinner there was no special arrangement, no special seating, being seated next to the doorway with heavy foot traffic and with nothing special to offer. I waited to the end thinking maybe there would be dessert, and nothing. We complained at the end saying how disappointed we were as this was a very special night. Overall very disappointed as I thought at this standard, a restaurant of this calibre would atleast try to make the evening even more memorable.

Great spot iut on the terrace overlooking the river. Beautiful food with plenty of menu options, service was prompt and atentive.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Black Hide Steak & Seafood – Queens Wharf We had an absolutely lovely dining experience at Black Hide Steak & Seafood at Queens Wharf. The food was exceptional – beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. The Lobster Mornay was rich, perfectly cooked, and simply unforgettable. And the focaccia – hands down the best I’ve ever tasted! The service was warm and attentive, making the afternoon even more enjoyable. A truly memorable meal — we’re already looking forward to returning! 🥂🍾🦞

Our waitress was pleasant but not attentive to the tables need. Offered initial drink - beer and when she came back ordered another round she did not come back. Then after initial pouring of wine did not come back to see if glasses wised to be topped up until we were about to leave. Lost opportunity as we would have consumed at least one or two bottles more but could not get anyone's attention. Steak was overcooked for medium rare. The cost v value was much higher than if we went to the Breakie Creek or Norman.
