   The food was outstanding and met the expectations of myself and my guests. Whilst it is quite expensive, you can appreciate that the quality supports the higher price tag. As per usual with most restaurants, the wine list is too expensive and restricted as far as price range is concerned on the lower end. All in all, it was a great dining experience in a fabulous location meeting the expectations of a great menu, which is consistent with a restaurant associated with the Gambaro name.

   Beautiful staff complemented the beautiful food in a beautiful setting by the river. Happy days.

   The service was great. The ambiance was ver pleasant and relaxing. The wine was delicious. The food left a lot to be desired. Yhe scallops I had for entree were tough and the sauce was not well balanced. The lobster mornay was tough and smelt of burnt shell. My husband has had the libster mornay before and enjoyed every morsel.I couldn't finish the snapper as it was dry and tasteless and the zucchini side dish was almost raw.

   We had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious with perfectly cooked steaks full of flavour and the service was just as impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was spot-on from start to finish. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great meal and outstanding service!

   Sublime food and outstanding service. Its not cheap, 3 courses and a bottle of wine shared between two was $200 a head, but worth it.

   Black Hide Steak & Seafood absolutely exquisite! We had dinner for 6 people and everyone’s meals were amazing. Our server was Joe, he explained the food and drinks menu with perfection. Highly recommend for any dining experience!

   The service was wonderful and so was the location. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. It was only just above standard of pub food. We had three side dishes. Corn, Mash Potato and Chips. Absolutely nothing special about them. No attempt to lift them to something special. The mushroom sauce had no mushrooms and the entree of meatballs were dry and again no attempt to lift them. My partner had a steak which was ok and I had the linguine with lobster which was nice. I could have gone to a local pub and had a similar type of meal. The cost was fine dining but the food was not. I hate to give a negative review for a new business but if you’re going to charge those prices you need to lift your game.

    Black Hide at Queens Wharf continues to be my preferred restaurant. The staff are long term and provide consistent service at the highest level. We ordered the recommended Sirloin and it was everything we were promised. This restaurant is a must for any person visiting Queens Wharf or for that matter Brisbane.
