We were seated right on schedule and out waiter was great taking drink, app and than food orders. Sangria was sent back because it was mostly seltzer water. Not sure what was up but even the recorder was off. Food too entirely too long for salads and a burger. We were with good people so the conversation made it easier to pass the time. Two hours from seat to door is a bit long for a place such as this
Food was great- recommend the beer cheese appetizer- yummy! Prices were ok and we were not rushed by our server. Met a manager- personable and helpful. Will definitely return.
Everything was great! Food and service were outstanding. Nice location, good parking and outdoor seating. They do not take reservations for outdoor seating and that was a little disappointing but otherwise very nice!
Accommodating hostess and great waitress who was knowledgeable about the food choices and drinks!
Too loud for a group that wants to talk. Felt bad for others that were with us in same room. Nice that they do open table. Server was great. Food great. They need to fill the wine glasses a little more
Food, atmosphere, and service was great! We will return!
First visit. Friendly atmosphere. Server was great...attentive without hovering.
Lots of interesting menu choices. Will definitely be back.
Easter Brunch with family. The hostess was very helpful to find us another table because we had 2 elderly folks with us. The food was good the only thing that was bad was the sausage, it was to soft. The waffle and omelette station were great the 2 guys taking orders were very friendly and did a nice job. All on all we will be back.
The food was not up to the standard we had become accustomed to, my wife's chicken sandwich was burned and the chicken was out of proportion with the bun. My son's grilled cheese was also overcooked. Salads and nachos were very good. Maybe just a bad night.
We attended the bibbidi bobbidi brunch and had so much fun! The food and drinks was awesome and it was a lot of fun to get to dress up and sing Disney songs!
We have been to 3 of the themed brunches now - they are our favorite things about the restaurant and a lot of fun. We love how the entire staff gets involved and dresses up and how they are cleverly decorated. The food never disappoints either. We hope to continue going to the themed brunches!
We attended the Bibbity Brunch, and had a great time! There were some small hiccups in getting us seated, but the staff did an amazing job accommodating us. The princesses were so fun for the kids to interact with, and the food was delicious!
We had a wonderful time at the Bippity Boppity Brunch! My daughter and niece's loved seeing everyone dressed up.
We were there for the special event on 2/25/18 - Bibbidi, Bobiddi, Boo for kids. Everyone was in costume and the children loved it. It was decorated appropriately for the theme, with silver streamers at the entrance. Everyone was super friendly. The children were able to get autographs from their favorite characters, as well as pictures. It was quite the special outing for our granddaughter who is 4! Job well done!
We came for the Disney themed brunch and we had a great time. Everyone that worked there was dressed up as a disney character and the atmosphere was great! Our waitress was wonderful!!
We went for Bibbity Bibbity Brunch. They are very kid friendly there. The food was very tasty. The service was great. It was our first time there and will definitely go back again.☺
We had a nice time at the brunch. The food was good and they did a great job with the theme.
We went for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Brunch with our daughter and extended family and had a wonderful time! They had Disney characters signing autographs and 2 amazing buffets. We had a great time and can't wait to go for the next kids event they host!
The staff is very nice and friendly. I liked how the staff took to my children and played with them and gave them attention too. It was a nice place to go for a themed brunch. Will go back for dinner one day.
It was a super weird experience. The night we went, they were having Disney karaoke downstairs but the entire restaurant was decorated in a Disney theme. We sat in a room decorated in Disney princesses (I thought we were being seated with the wrong party, which was weird when we were meeting friends for dinner). I asked for extra pickles for my burger and they came out frozen with actual frost on them. I don't think I will go back.
The food was good for bar food. We were seated at a table in the main bar area tables on a slow night. It was difficult to carry on a conversation with our guests due to the music being so loud. Good bar atmosphere, but not conducive to a dining experience.
I ordered the shrimp wrap. It was edible but very flavorless. We also had crab dip appetizer but I don’t think there is actually any crab in it. Service was excellent!
Services was great. We even were served by two the restaurant managers. Food was very good too.
Food and service were superb.
For the Harry Potter Brunch at 4pm we were disappointed we did not get the same ambiance, etc. as friends earlier in the day. No characters to take photos with and food plus décor, etc. was being broken down while we were trying to enjoy the meal.
We had a great time at the Harry Potter themed brunch! I love black eyed Susie's food, service and how fun all the special themed events are!
We attended the Harry Potter Brunch. Fun time with friends and delicious and diverse themed named brunch food. Got to try on the sorting hat, answer trivia from Prof. Dumbledore, and try out drinks from the Leaky Cauldron menu. I tried Tom Marvolo Riddle's drink. Yum! Timed event tickets were a plus too!
The Harry Potter themed brunch was amazing!!!! We loved the decorations, the vendors, the music! Foid was fantastic with funny names and the music was awesome!
Black Eyed Suzie’s was having a Harry Potter brunch. I made a reservation far in advance using open table and because the event had filled up so quickly the last time they did it, the reservation required my credit card number to reserve a table. When my party arrived on Sunday we were told that there was a glitch in the system and they could not find our reservation. We were given two options-wait for a table to open but they couldn’t offer us a wait time, or push together two bar tops and sit in the bar area. We opted to sit in the bar. We were told our first round would be on the house to make up for the loss of the reservation. The Harry Potter decor, music, and food were fantastic. The themed drinks were delicious and very fun. When we asked for our bill the waitress was going to put our first round of drinks on the bill despite that we had been told they would be on the house. When we explained what we were told she said, “Well no one told me that, but okay.” We paid our bill and asked the waitress if she could take a picture of us in our Harry Potter outfits. She told us no. Thankfully another waiter was kind enough to take our picture for us. I did not receive my open table points because of the “glitch in the system” losing my reservation. I really enjoy this restaurant and it’s food is great. I think the events are a great idea, but I think whatever the glitch is, it should be worked out and I think the wait staff should be instructed on how to treat customers that have just spent over $45 a piece on brunch, drinks, and tipped 20%.
Food was cold and most trays were empty. Expected more for a special brunch.
My children loved the Harry Potter Theme! A lot of thought was put into this and it was very evident.
Harry Potter Brunch
Went for the Harry Potter brunch...had a great time will definitely go next year
We went for the Harry Potter brunch and it was amazing!
Our server Zach was incredibly friendly and attentive. We came for Harry Potter brunch with kids and they loved it. We love the theme brunches. A little pricey for the food offered but we realize it’s more for the kids and it goes towards the decorations. This is the second theme brunch we have done and we will do more!
We went for the Harry Potter Brunch. Not only was the ambiance great, the food was too! There was something for everyone on the buffet. My favorite was the homemade omelet!
Great time! Good food and super menu. A little loud but otherwise great atmosphere. The burger was the best I’ve ever had!!
Suzie's is a great everyday neighborhood spot for dinner and a drink. I can always find a local craft beer and get a decent sandwich or a dinner salad. Chicken BALT is my new favorite while my wife enjoys have a Caesar salad with grilled salmon. Service is always decent but this time it was exceptional. If your are thinking of going out last minute - consider coming here.
We showed up at the restaurant on time but it was closed for dining, although the bar was open. They were not serving food. Had not received our reservation and were very sorry. Not a good night.
It was a date night and we thought to give Black Eye Susan a try. Though we made reservations, we were seated in a bar area with the bartender as our server. She was very nice and she hustled. It took a while before she was able to get our drink orders and apps. The oyster shooters were delicious and so were the oysters. We decided to order apps for our meal, and ordered the Rockfish bites; Maryland Crab Spring Rolls, Wings with Honey Old Bays sauce, and Rockfish tacos. It was delicious though the Rockfish bites could have been seasoned a bit. All in all, it was most enjoyable and delicious!
