The newest restaurant at Kingston Resorts showcases the best local fare in a comfortable setting. All 40 beers on tap come from the states of North and South Carolina and the entire menu is Carolina born and brewed. Share small plates and appetizers, try fresh seafood, and house-smoked meats while enjoying ocean views. Order a craft beer at the outdoor beer garden and play favorite yard games such as cornhole in the new event space.

Above the restaurant, find a new event space with high ceilings, exposed wood beams, and floor to ceiling retractable windows with ocean views and an upper balcony for outdoor weddings, receptions, and events overlooking the new pool.

Slow service and poor food quality compared to previous visits. Chick sandwich was nothing but two stringy fried tenders masquerading as a “24 hour marinaded breast”. The Mac and cheese was abysmal, dry and lacking any flavor other than stale pasta.

The ribs were supposed to be "St Louis" style, but we're baby backs. They were ok though. The drinks were a little slow, but no big deal.

Nice environment. Although the food was mid at best. Had the smoked chicken wings. Had a nice smoky flavor, but to dry. The burger was terrible considering the price. The shrimp was good.

Overall the location and restaurant are pretty but the food and service was awful. Waiters confused on who was serving us and stomping off, the food was luke warm and bland. The brisket had no seasoning and you couldn't even taste the "bourbon" in the chicken.

We enjoyed the food tremendously! Black Drum is a nice restaurant with a selection of local brews. The noise level was an issue because there were several tables beside us with a large group that had a few very loud people. We will definitely come back to enjoy more of the menu. The Bavarian Pretzel was light and fluffy; the Brisket and sides were yum; and the Solo Chicken was the bombdiggity!

Overall had a great experience here, only issue was the service was a little slow and the burger I got though it was good. It wasn’t worth $26, I thought it was going to be a massive burger by the description.

We made reservations and arrived a few minutes prior to our time, we were seated right away then proceeded to wait for 20 minutes before anyone came to our table then told us it would be a 60 minute wait for service, never even offered us a water or drink. Very poor management
