All 40 beers on tap come from the states of North and South Carolina and the entire menu is Carolina born and brewed.     Food and service excellent. Huge amounts of food brought to table on trays, presented well, but way too much food for 2 people so sadly much went to waste as we were not allowed to bring any home. The pumpkin dessert pizza was huge, couldn’t even look at it we were so full.

    We had their Thanksgiving feast. It was a little expensive, but there was plenty of food! All you can eat! Family -Style! Great experience. Great service! Would recommend!

    Everything was good overall but could have been better. Service was average and food was good but for family style there wasn’t enough portions of each item for everyone at table to try for the price you pay. Mixing all of the food on one large tray was messy looking and we had to ask for serving utensils and no anticipation from server as to things that were needed. These are some things to improve upon and we would still go again.

    The Black Drum was by far the best dining experience we had during our stay in Myrtle Beach. We loved the ambiance, the clean new building, outdoor seating, and fire pits. The best part of the place was the food. We ordered a salad and an entree and we were blown away by the quality and the quantity. We stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, thus the convenience was also a big factor in choosing to eat there. We do not dine out much so this was by far top notch.

    Went to try some Beers from the Carolina’s, enjoyed two very nice ones. Pretzel was amazing. Main meet could have been hotter, sides were nice and hot. Would happily go back

    They seemed to be a little understaffed, but what restaurant isn't these days. The food was phenomenal as usual. The live music is played at a volume you can have a conversation at your table without having to raise your voice. Great chill spot to grab some great BBQ and beers.

    Our first time visiting Black Drum Brewery. Celebration a friends birthday. Had a reservation (not sure it’s necessary out of season). Just a short wait for our table. We were seated and our server Ryan was there with us within a few minutes. Drinks arrived quickly and appetizers and food arrived in a timely manner. Ryan checked on us regularly! Everyone in the group loved their entree’s! Will definitely go there again(in the area for work often) We’ll done Black Drum!

    Our server was very courteous, although she was a little over booked with tables because of the strange time we were there along with other parties. All in all, the restaurant was worth the booking and we really enjoyed it

    We have been to the Black Drum multiple times in hopes that the service would match the delicious quality of the food. With one exception, the service has been substandard. On each occasion we have waited to be served. The last time we were seated we waited over a half an hour for our order to be taken; however when presenting the check, our server was very attentive. If only that had occurred throughout the entire experience, it would have been an exceptional evening.

    I thought the food was good. The brisket is what they’re known for I think. You are at the beach with an atmosphere, so I take that into consideration of the price for the value. Great atmosphere and very timely

    The restaurant is appointed very nicely. Beautiful decor indoors and out. Gret ambience. interesting selection of beers . Portion sizes leave a little bit to be desired on some of the dishes. Bratwurst was super tiny for the bun it was in. The pretzel was delicious. Our biggest issue was the food was all served luke warm and our waitress seemed to be working too many tables to be attentive enough to us so we could tell her about the food not being hot enough and have her rectify ( she was very understanding when we advised her but didn't really offer up to make it up to us). Although barely warm, food was flavorful with just the right amount of spicy and savory. its unfortunate but for these reasons, it was overpriced and hard to recommend.

    The food was subpar at best. The fires were soggy and tasteless. The fish was just as bad. Nothing here lives up to the cost. I don’t recommend going. Find somewhere else.

    Absolutely DELIGHTFUL food. The smoked prime rib was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! my family loves seafood and everyone said it was excellent. The low country boil seemed to be the winner! Also drinks from the bar were strong but extremely tasty!

    The beer selection was great. All the food tasted excellent and portions were good except for the prime rib. The prime rib tasted good, but the portion size for the price was a let down. For $50+ I expected more than a 3/8" thick slice. Finally, it got really loud in there as more people arrived.

    While this is not a brewery, the beer selection is great, and they do flights. The food was superb, we did a brisket sandwich and fried chicken sandwich. Service was friendly, helpful, and prompt. Gotta say one of the best restaurant experiences we had while in Myrtle Beach and we'll be back!
