   The food was beautifully plated, tasted phenomenally, and service was exceptional. Even the recommended wine was perfect. Worth the drive if you're not in the Red Lodge area!

   We have been here many times since they opened and never had a bad experience. The menu for Valentines Day was wonderful!! Loved the crab deviled eggs, the mushroom soup is so flavorful (it has some ingredient in it that I cannot put my finger on & it makes it!), & the red velvet cheesecake was amazing.

   We had a fabulous meal. Truly a great restaurant. Jake our waiter was attentive and the food was delicious. Each course was different and delivered on time. We loved every item that we ordered. This place is worth the drink from Billings.

   Black Canyon Bistro is a place that I have been wanting to try. I’m glad we took the 40 min drive and tried it out. The food, service, and atmosphere was all a very nice experience and we will go back.

    Was easy to reserve. The service was wonderful. The food was great, but I felt a little over-priced. You had to add all the extras. Salad, potato ect… But enjoyed by all in our party of 6.

    We came in with 2 adults and 4 little kids after skiing. It’s a nicer place but they were very accommodating to the kids. They don’t have a printed kids menu, but do have good kid options if you ask. Two of my kids ordered from the kids menu (buttered noodles and cheeseburger sliders), both liked their food. One child had elk medallions and the other had filet. They are more adventurous for their age. They practically cleaned their plates. All of the food was great. Drinks were even better. Desserts were great too. We will definitely be back after a long day of skiing.

    This was an exquisite meal! The elk medallions were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Great service and loved the quiet atmosphere. The lobster sliders appetizer is good, but overpriced for what you get. Nice wine and cocktails list with a little unique spin on normal drinks. We will definitely go again!

    My husband ordered the scallops and the y were quite small and essentially wrapped in what I would call raw bacon. There was an adjustment to our check. However he left pretty hunger. For $22.00 I would have expected a bit more of a meal. Many folks do not find raw bacon the least bit palatable. I had the elk medallions and they were quite delicious. Upon checking the prices of scallops you guys made bank on my husbands dinner.

    Any restaurant can have a bad night every now and again, but how they take care of customers in those moments is what deciphers whether you come back or not….Especially for new restaurants. We were very impressed with BCB and their ability to save an experience. The Manager went above and beyond to make our experience rock. We will definitely be back ❤️ and feel more than comfortable referring people to this adorable restaurant.

    We were there during the Christmas Stroll and it was so busy! The staff was clearly rushing around but all with good attitudes and great service. Our table wasn’t ready yet at reservation time but the host continued to check with us and explained how busy they were and that they’d seat us soon. Once seated, we had great service and the food was spectacular. I order a filet almost everywhere we go and this was one of the best I’ve ever had, so tender and great flavor. My husband had the Shepherd’s Pie and said it was great. We will definitely be back again. If it was that good during the craziness of the Christmas Stroll, I imagine it’s even better on a regular night!

    6 oz filet was amazing, shareable sides were ok we had the mushrooms and the blue cheese mac n cheese. Mushrooms were cooked how they were supposed to be, the Mac n cheese was somewhat underwhelming but still pretty decent. We also had the French onion soup, it was good but average. Wait staff wasn’t all too attentive, we ran out of water a couple times but when I waved her down she didn’t make us wait too long. Didn’t seem that busy when we got there but we waited a long time for our food, probably close to an hour, watched a couple other tables that were seated quite a while after us get their food before us. Overall the food was pretty solid and the experience was fine.

    Happy to see this new restaurant in Red Lodge! It was Friday night of the Christmas Stroll in Red Lodge so the restaurant was quite busy. Between the 5 of us we had Elk medallions, Ahi Tuna salad, hamburger, salmon and french onion soup. All of the dishes were nicely presented and prepared perfectly. Our server was friendly and had a good understanding of the menu. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit.

    The salad were good sized and the homemade Ranch was great, although one member of our party felt it was too dilly. The French Onion Soup was so good. The Elk Medallions were amazing, the Rib-Eye was even better. We also enjoyed the Salmon and French Dip. The service was great. We really enjoyed the evening.

    Food was delicious! We will definitely be back. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the music. It didn't match the atmosphere. It seemed to take it down a notch. A little more easy going on the music and it would be perfect.
