   Well, what a disappointment. We ate here a week ago and it was OK. Last night was a disaster. Not exactly busy so the wait for our food was strange. When it arrived, my wife's burger was cold and the baked potato resembled a burnt out rugby ball. Mine was OK so I tried to attract the server's attention. I waved a couple of times and I'm certain she noticed but just ignored me. After a few minutes I challenged her at the bar area and she came over. I asked for a new meal and carried on eating mine before it got cold too. When the new burger arrived, it was OK but I'd finished mine. Very disappointing service. She must have noticed the first blackened potato when she brought it. In England we would have expected a reduction in the bill but nothing was offered. I've been in Orlando over 20 times and this was probably my worst experience.

    Great service. Food was good. Loved that waiter suggested the ranch steak. The mashed potatoes had just a little to much garlic. Wine was good. Salads were great. So close to the hotel too.

    This is a family style steakhouse with good quality meats and generous portions. This is not a romantic intimate spot. Booth style seating with low backs gives it more of a diner feel. We realized we wanted a decent meal in a tourist strip, crying kids, big groups and tons of families, this was a nice dinner. The service is friendly and attentive and the dinner is served relatively quick. Learned that the 3 Florida locations are independent and not affiliated in any way with the California or other Black Angus Steakhouses. Hence, the difference in menus and ambiance. This location does have a full bar, more than just steaks, and a house made horseradish sauce that was thick and delicious. The onion rings appetizer were quite good and flavorful. The salads were crisp and fresh. The loaded baked potato was really loaded with bacon and cheese. We had the 9 oz filet and both were tender, juicy and flavorful. We had no room for dessert. Even though this was not what we originally expected, the food and service made this a good find for us.

    We arrived for our reservation time, only to be told they were no longer seating. Other diners in the lobby had been waiting for over two hours past their reservation time. The staff couldn't have cared less, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

    Thought the restaurant was empty because we chose to go early (5pm) as it was our last night in Orlando and leaving very early the next morning but even as we left at 6:30 it was still empty. Surprised because the food was great - mozzarella sticks were good, and steaks cooked perfectly, desserts were good. The house salad was a lot more involved than I was expecting (included corn, olives, extras) and I wouldn't eat it. Biggest complaint was the bathrooms. I didn't use them but apparently, they have a lock with a code which you don't expect, and my husband couldn't get the lock to work. It was a problem and he had to get someone to help - heard 3 numbers when there were 4. Should have a better way of addressing that. Put the codes on the menu or a piece of paper at the table/ give it to you when you come in. For a party of 4 steaks-1 hamburger, 3 with a bar tab, and desserts/apps the bill was about $300.00. Assuming because it's a tourist area and our bill was pretty high the waiter automatically charged the gratuity. Which was fine since it saved me money, I always start at 20% but he only charged us 15%

    The waitress was the only positive and why I didn’t give one star. Shrimp was over cooked, filet was over seasoned, and the porterhouse was at least 90% gristle! Sweet potatoes were black where they were burnt and the rolls hard. For the price we would have expected a much better meal, definitely very overpriced. And why reservations? It was practically empty and that should have been a clue before we even entered. The waitress was very nice & polite.

    The menu does not show the prices. When you see the prices on the bill you know why. Extremely high prices!! 75$ per person for a piece of meat, a few fries and a beer. No salad, no veggies, no coffee, no dessert included.

    Food was average/good, everyone happy with their steaks. Problem came with the bill - automatically adding 18% service charge which amount to $50+ - a lot for an hour in an average restaurant - 4 adults and 2 children. Questioning this, we weee told it was compulsory. Called the manager and quickly resolved. But left a bitter taste. Also - limited wine list was not all available.

    Our waiter Joey was such a delight and so informational about things to do while we were in town. He knew we were from out of town and made our experience the best. The woman that sang happy birthday to our friend was amazing. We had a great time and would love to come back the next time we are in town

    The menu is very ridged. No substitutions allowed. Extra charge $8 for 1 potato. Meat is not cooked to requested. Medium well served rare.

    This was my 2nd visit to the Black Angus. Brian was our Waiter this time. He was spot ON, courteous, responsive and knowledgeable. A perfect Example of Great Service. We will be sure to ask for him on our next visit. Thank you Brian!

    The atmosphere, food and SERVER were awesome. The only issue we had was that they seemed to be understaffed and our server had to juggle a large table(11 people) plus many other tables.
