Black Angus Steakhouse - I Drive - Universal Studios
Both our dinners were not hot when they came out, barley warm.
Ended up being pleasantly surprised. Service was great and food was good.
Overall acceptable. Our server Ariel was so attentive and made our dinner enjoyable. Food was good but all the seafood was frozen. Ordered the roasted chicken and to my surprise it was juicy and tasty. My partners steak was just right.
I was very hungry so I ate most of my food regardless. Almost $100 for watery chicken alfredo, dry steak, bland mash potatoes & salmon. This was my second visit and last.
Really good place and good food! Will recommend to everybody!
My steak was undercooked. I showed the girl and she didn’t care. Oxide bill and left
The food was Perfection! The service was among the WORST I’ve ever had!!! From picking up rolls that fell onto the table with her hands to not bringing us all of our food/beverages, to providing excuses for not coming back to check on us. We should’ve taken our queue from the gentleman at the table next to us who said, he didn’t raise a stink, because his son was with him, but the server was horrible!!!
My wife and I were visiting Orlando for out anniversary she had issues at other restaurants about her food preferences. Brian out server was outstanding making sure our experience was more than enjoyable. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Orlando.
The cooks were ready to go home and we could taste that in our food... super disappointing.
Great timely service and friendly staff. The food is delicious. My only complaint would be that my husband asked for his steak well done and received it medium. Besides that I would highly recommend this place for a nice hearty dinner.
Baby back ribs were awesome!!
Sat in the patio for dining got swarmed by gnats and had to move inside after the engulfed my drink. Our waitress was pleasant and super friendly. The food and drinks were a bit over priced for the quality. I’ve definitely had better steaks elsewhere. The bar was a bit slow and the sides were super salty. Ultimately I would go back based on the service, but not necessarily for the food.
Food was over cooked and wasn’t great.
Pretty decent value.
Could’ve been better
Wow! We had the early bird prime rib special and everything was wonderful. Particularly our server, Kat. She was so friendly and went out of her way to make us happy.
We had a couples night with a group of 8. I did reservations and as soon as we got there they had our table ready!! Service was great and everyone loved the food and prices!! We would definitely go again!!
Anniversary lunch with my hibby
Excellent food and customer service!
They may just have been having a bad night, but the place was less than half full and they were more than 30 minutes late seating us for our reservation. The service was then painfully slow, and the steak temperature was not close (they did graciously redo the steak).
This was my first time at this restaurant and I must say that I was very pleased with the atmosphere, food and service. I would recommend this restaurant for a nice, calm evening. It is kid friendly but also great for a date night.
Very good on the inside, not to pretentious but bery comfortable. Food was outstanding, resort foods were horrible including the NBC Bar and Grill.
Bland food. We were confused why there were so many empty tables and we were sat directly next to a large, loud table. I guess there aren’t any social distancing guidelines at that restaurant. Very mediocre food for the price.
Casual family steakhouse. Wine list limited but the steaks were good and the service was friendly.
My husbands birthday dinner
Outstanding food. Servers were stressed and kitchen was behind.
Our waiter was wonderful. The food was terrible! Sweet potato was hard as a rock, steak didn’t have any seasoning on it, lamb was raw so we ordered wings and they came still bleeding. We did not enjoy our Valentine’s Day dinner here.
I went there on Valentines Day and it was just terrible. We tried to be understanding since one waitress was dealing with about 5 different tables at once. My fiance and my sister ordered a strawberry lemonade. When the waitress finally came back around we told her that they never got their drinks. She decided to pick up a strawberry lemonade that been sitting at the bar for about 30 minutes and told us the bartender just made it. My sisters boyfriend ordered a special that came with 2 steak filets and shrimp and kindly ask the waitress to place the shrimp on a different plate because he was allergic and was going to give it to my sister. When he received his plate the shrimp was damn near on the steak. My fiance ordered a steak and ask for it to be medium well and received a bloody steak that was just fat! I had to give him one of my steak filets because he hated everything on his plate. I was just so disappointed. When we were all done, my fiance still left a tip even though everything was terrible. When we got up the waitress just watch us and pass up straight. She never said "Thanks for coming" or "Sorry for the inconvenience" nothing, she just kept it moving.
The fish n shrimp was horrible, it was fried in not so hot grease and the food sucked up the grease, the salad was old
It was ok. We came for Valentine’s Day around 4 pm, really can’t say that it was busy - there wasn’t many people yet. Still it took 20 minutes to get our drinks(juice and coke!) and after 10 more minutes they took our order. As an excuse they said that they busy because of Valentine’s Day but honestly it’s not our first time in Angus - they usually take long to take your order. Food was great, steak and chicken were delicious, but seasonal vegetables were super plain and tasteless. The chocolate cake for dessert was outstanding!
The ribeye was not good. Very thin steak. The filet was good. The service was great.
steak was tasteless. no slat or pepper. food was bland. would NOT recommend
We came here on New Year’s eve while on vacation with our 2 daughters 12 & 13. Our server Lisa was wonderful! The food was fantastic! We would definitely come back on our next visit!
Seated quickly. Waited a little to be greeted. Waitress was friendly. Liked the bread. Great Caesar salad. The steak was not seasoned and only tasted like the grill. My husband said the crablegs were “decent”. The berry brûlée cheesecake was just gross. The white chocolate shells were not necessary. We didn’t eat the dessert and the waitress chose not to take it off. We weren’t impressed. If you want a good hearty meal, you’d be better off at longhorn or Texas Roadhouse. At least you’d know what you were getting for the price. Our bill was over $100 and neither of us were particularly satisfied. Actually, we were starved from flying in and super excited for our meal. All in all, it was disapppinting.
We love this location! The food and service is always excellent!
Great place with good service
Waitress seemed to be rough and we felt to be rushed
Had Christmas dinner at Black Angus with my daughters. The mushroom and mozzarella stick appetizers were good. The steaks were good. Cooked as ordered and the sides were also good. The crab legs with my daughters steak were frozen. We sent them back and they were quickly replaced. The lobster with my other daughters steak was great. For dessert we shared the chocolate cake a al mode. Was really good. The service was really good. Very attentive server.
Overall, was a good experience.
Also, the hostess forgot to check me in when I arrived so half way through dinner got the open table no show email.
The food was ok (not as good as it was on our previous visit), but the service provided by Jane (a woman leftover from the days of the 60s diners) was horrible.
First of all her mannerism and the way she delivered the bread, then the drinks we ordered and later the food. I do not know and do not remember anyone with an attitude as poor as this woman. The matter was reported to the manager and I sincerely hope I will not have the opportunity to see her again in the dining room, the next time I visit the Black Angus, otherwise I will definitely walk out of the place!
Wonderful dinner, loved the Christmas decorations and music. Have been here several times and loved it.
Great food, terrific drinks, friendly staff.
We drive a distance to come here and always worth it. We love it.
Service and food were both excellent. Very pleasantly surprised
The steakburgers were large and extremely juicy. This location was beautifully decorated for the holidays.
