Since 1998, the Black & Tan Grille has worked diligently to establish a reputation as a premier dining location in Northeastern Wisconsin. Thanks to its loyal guests, the Black & Tan Grille remains a leader in fine dining establishments in the area and continues to adapt to guests' needs to improve the dining experience. To serve its guests better and provide a truly exceptional guest experience, on April 2 of 2009 the Black & Tan Grille moved from its De Pere location at 101 Fort Howard Avenue to the Historic Bellin Building in downtown Green Bay. Now located at 130 East Walnut Street in Green Bay, the Black & Tan Grille allows for a first floor expanded lounge and bar area which offers an extensive wine and martini list. Its dining room, located on the second floor, offers elegant and contemporary dining with endless window seating and beautiful views of downtown Green Bay.

                                                We go to the Black and Tan at least once or twice a year this is the first time we have been let down. The chefs were way of mark this time. Appetizers were amazing as usual but a couple of the dinners were not good. One order of scallops you could smell over the whole table and we had a table of 9, it was not good, scallops should not smell fishy whatsoever. Willing to give them another try because of past dinners but weRe very disappointed this time around

                                                I was delighted to discover they have a vegetarian/vegan option which was very good. Our waitress actually applauded us for being vegan. Totally unexpected! We will definitely go back!

                                                We arrived early for our reservation, waited several minutes for someone to show up at the maitre d’ stand then told to check back in occasionally to see if a table was available. We went into the bar to get a cocktail - there was no server in the bar area and had to wait 15 minutes to get a drink as the bar tender had to wash glasses first. Couldn’t find anyone to check back in with after another half an hour, so left. It looked like a nice place, however the service was majority lacking.
