Business dinner with colleagues. Good snd service was excellent.
If you want a great steak and great everything else, look no further. Black & Blue is the best restaurant around, and with a casual unstuffy atmosphere. And the servers are excellent, as they enhance your dining experience.
the perfect date night! Will be here for any and every special occasion! filet was perfection! A little pricey but the service made it worth it.
B&B was the perfect venue for a “Boys’ Night Out.”
Our 1st time there and it was perfect.thank you for a great bday dinner
Always a great time with outstanding food and service.
Kitchen was slow the chef didn’t know how to black and blue a ribeye
Always will recommend this place for a romantic evening. Food is delicious and the lighting is perfect
The service was excellent. Our food, lobster and fillet were well prepared and the she-crab soup was superb. The flourless chocolate cake again excellent.
Taking friends out for 50th anniversary. Nice table but it became nearly impossible to carry on a conversation due to two large, LOUD tables adjacent to us.
Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Amazing setting, service was outstanding and the menu had a good mix of steaks and seafood. Our dinners were prepared perfectly, not one bad thing to say, I would highly recommend and I would also go back!
I was very disappointed. The service was terrible and the food was ok. Definitely not worth the price.
Food was average at best, service was poor, not what you would expect for the price. I doubt I'd go back if the meal was free.
Had to make a reservation days ahead but showed up and didn’t need to wait at all. Seated at a booth style table that could handle four so the two of us had ample room. Drinks and meals were served at appropriate timing. My NY Strip was cooked just as I ordered, medium, and had no fat. She had the Haddock special. Only comment she made was it was a little dry and could have used a sauce availability.
The food was top notch as usual. You could tell there was a lot of new waitstaff (but that’s to be expected these days.).
Will definitely return.
The food was outstanding, the service was good. My only complaint was their wine by the bottle prices were ridiculously marked up.
Celebrating a birthday
Made a reservation on 9/21 for an anniversary dinner on 9/26 through OpenTable (linked through the black and blue website). Received a confirmation text the day before (9/25). Showed up to our reservation and the restaurant was closed with a sign on the door stating that they are closed Sundays and Mondays. Not sure why I was able to make a reservation on a day the restaurant is closed. Upon calling the restaurant the following Tuesday, I got a half-hearted apology and offer to make another reservation. Needless to say I did not make a new reservation. I am posting this in hopes of making others aware of this situation so that it doesn't happen to anyone else.
I have been to Black and Blue in the past for lunch and it was very good. The quality of our recent dinner was ok, but not to the standard that the price commands. Our service was a bit slow but understandable due to staffing and a busy night. The one unfortunate event was that I ordered a tonic with lime for a drink, my wife ordered a glass of wine. The waitress confirmed the order and off she went. When we received our drinks, we toasted as it was our anniversary, and took a drink. To my surprise it was straight Gin on the rocks. Being that I have not drank alcohol since 2003 due to family alcoholism, it was a little eye opening. The waitress handled it pretty well, other than telling me that the bar tender should know better since his mother is a recovering alcoholic, which was a little too much info.
Between the average meal and this event I would spend this level of money elsewhere.
Daniel our server was excellent. Our entire meal was excellent. Definitely will be going back.
The food was perfect, the waitress was very pleasant and engaging. Was a little dark in there, was hard to read menu. Other then that perfect spot to go.
The waitstaff and management went above and beyond! Beautiful ambiance, delicious food, well worth the trip!!
Our food was very delicious. Staff were polite and helpful.
The way the lobster tails are presented are very pretty and tasted great but very hard to get out of the shell.
We come here a lot and this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. It’s expensive so it should be perfect. May not be back for a while.
Very loud, poor service, but the food was good. They were out of the wine we wanted, then we waited 10 more mins. for another one, just kind of frustrating.
Because it was our anniversary we were given complimentary champagne (it was on the sweet side) a nice gesture, but we prefer dryer champagne.
The waitress was awesome. We had to get her name because where we honeymooned she is going on vacation😃! The food was great! Cooked to perfection!
Fantastic overall. No complaints. If you have the spare cash and want steak that is on another level check this spot out. It’s not cheap so don’t complain about price. It’s priced that way solely because of the quality.
Great restaurant. Met my daughter from Boston area there to say goodbye for the winter, as I leave for Naples, FL soon. We had a great time. Loved the ambiance and the food and drinks!!!
Every bite was perfection, our waiter could not have been more responsive.
The food was delicious and my strip steak was cooked perfectly. The hot plates are a great idea and keep your steak sizzling hot! The gorgonzola cream is a must try! My wife loved her scallops and the calamari was very fresh and had a nice kick to it. The scalloped potatoes were very good but the brussel sprouts were very bland and a little soggy. Don’t recommend those. Our drinks came out after our appetizer arrived which was a little disappointing. The dessert was a good size and very tasty. Hopefully next time they will get five stars!
Our food was delicious and the service excellent. We have been there several times and have always been happy with the experience.
Outstanding steaks, great service. Not inexpensive by any measure but we’ll worth it.
We love dining here! Great ambiance and excellent food and service!
The menu is ala carte, mostly wet aged steaks which range from 29-59 and sides, etc. are additional. The food was good, not mind-blowing, for the cost. The service was excellent.
Very good food, classy atmosphere and not too pricey
Service and food was top notch
Amazing service & good
Great upscale restaurant and service. Food was great, but came with upscale prices.
