BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Valley River
The first time we went the place was overcrowded and we didn't have a reservation. The second time, we made a reservation through OpenTable. We got there about 15 minutes early. The restaurant was almost full, but not crowded and we were seated right away in a quieter part of the restaurant. The whole staff was very friendly. We didn't have to wait too long for our food, it was excellent, and the portions were very good. The only thing I didn't like was how noisy the place was because of all the people, but on the whole it was a very good experience. My recommendation - make a reservation. It's very easy and can be done online.
BJs is CONSISTENTLY great! New menu items with zucchini noodles were out of the park yummy. Lorie our waitress was attentive, professional and very thorough. Kudos to her! Love this place.
Marla was excellent and ensured our visit was very smooth while being very efficient. Great visit.
The food was very good, service was good. Speed of service was a little slow. Price was a little high. I will definitely be back.
We were initially seated in the patio area. After we got drinks we were told we had to move because they had a large party coming in with reservations. It was nice and quiet in the patio area. Not so much in the inside dining area. Wasn’t particularly pleased we had to move and listen to all the noise.
Went for my sons 26th birthday . We were seated right away . The server was great but it took way to long yo get our drinks , then my sons beer tasted like soap. She mentioned that they just cleaned the lines but I guess something went wrong . It was awful. We waited over an hour for our food ... salads and burgers .
We ordered bread with a bowl of soup and the bread never came out. Their special offer was “ sold out “ overall a Terrible dining out experience. Won’t go back .
Great Restaurant & Brewpub. When visiting Eugene, this is our goto stop for lunch. Food, service, and ambience always consistently good to great. Great menu choices, a little for every palette. Great location too.
WE HAD A VERY GOOD TIME AND A VERY GOOD LUNCH. OUR WAITER WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND I THINK HIS NAME WAS SHAWN. SORRY IT SLIPS MY MIND RIGHT NOW. ANYWAY ALL WAS GOOD
Slow, overpriced. drink had next to no alcohol in it and one meal came not as ordered. also charged for a birthday pizookie (which should have been free and really the only reason we went in the first place).
Window table was nice, however. as was the ability to reserved via "open table." and also waitress was nice, just likely overworked.
Took 20 minutes for them to bring a silverware . Drinks or never refilled . Multiple times we had to go find the server if we needed something .
The food was delicious! Our waiter was great as well. I docked one star, because our reservation was given away by accident. But they got us a booth pretty quickly!
The lightening was pretty dim and made it hard to read the menus. Other than that it was a great overall experience and the food was excellent
Sage was our server on the night of the Garth Brooks stadium. They were insanely busy. He warned us our drinks may take a bit longer due to the high volume but everything came in an adequate amount of time to allow us to get to the concert on time. He was an excellent server and the food was fantastic. I will definitely be visiting the BJs closer to home based off the service I received at this location!
Service was very slow. Took over 45 minutes to get food. Had to ask to order. Was with a group of co-workers in a party of 8.
We had a party of 10 and decided this was a perfect venue to celebrate anything. There was enough variety of food to satisfy everyone's palate and all went well.
The food was excellent, but the dining room was dark and noisy, and the prices were high. It's not our style, but we know others who would thoroughly enjoy it. It was packed, testifying to its popularity.
We enjoyed BJ's very much. We were seated earlier than our reserved time. The service was efficient.
Sadly my tri tip was over cooked. I'm 0 for 3 on this trip. Seems nobody understands what RARE is. My steak was nearly all gray in the middle ): Frustrating, and nobody asked if it was ok.
Food and service was awesome! :D I'm excited where I'm moving to has one as well. I'll definitely come back.
We were looking for a graduation lunch venue and everything was booked . I didn’t have high expectations but we were so excited to have a great meal : nice and upbeat server , great food , yummy drinks , delicious desert and a fantastic variety . Everyone was super happy .
One of our party told the front desk the incorrect name for our reservation so we were told we needed to wait but that ended up being a mistake on our part . We took a table in the bar and it ended up being a great table. We could see and hear our group talk and it was great .
Great food, best service all over enjoyable evening.
The alfredo we ordered actually had a crunch to it the noodles were so undercooked. Our waiter was friendly, but spread too thin and really only checked back in at the end of our meal. I probably won't be back, or at least not at my suggestion.
Our waiter was very slow, and forgetful. We asked for a straw for my daughters water, we didn't receive one. When we asked for refills on ice tea and water, our waiter never brought either one. The food was good, but our wait was awful. We had reservations for 4. Seated promptly but it took over 45 minutes to get our food and drinks. We ended up being late getting out of there and missed our next event. Which we had scheduled for 2 and half hours after our reservation.
Great food but it took a while to even see our waitress
Had an online reservation that was confirmed. Got immediate seating. The server and food was excellent!
Restaurant was ok. The online reservation did not work and once we got there we had to wait another hour till we sat at a table..
We were there for a small family gathering for a birthday. Everything was great. Thank you to Sage our waiter who made sure we were always happy.
