   We may have been there on a bad night, but not much was handled correctly. Apparently, the water system was contaminated and tasted of salt. The waitress was very polite and advised us of this and recommended bottled water for our young daughter. All other drinks were supposed to be fine. Sadly, our soft drinks arrived tasting horribly with salt, and the waitress had the manager come speak with us who offered zero soultion. The manager was polite and apologized but just didn't offer a fix. We had to ask for bottled waters instead of the sodas. The staff was nice, but it was just an off night. We asked for two burgers without fries and to be cooked medium. They both arrived very, very well done and with fries on both. I asked about the fries, and again, no solution was offered. Nice people, just seemingly overwhelmed with the task. It wasn't a busy night either. It was our first and last time at this restaurant. Hope they get things going. It was a nice-looking establishment.

   BJ's was fine: OpenTable and its agent Hyperwallet sucked. Reward card reservation made at BJ's through OpenTable for April 5 6:30 pm, but time of reservation had to be modified from 6:30 to 7:00 and then to 7:30 pm. Printed Reward Card for use at BJ's but discovered $50 reward card had no value at restaurant. Called Hyperwallet number on Reward card and got a complete runaround. Experience unsatisfactory: pls go back to the old method where you can just get a reward certificate for redemption at restaurant if your IT can't honor reward card reservations made through the system. Yes, I had to modify the reservation, but good IT should tolerate such a change; that's what it's there for. Then I got a "no show" message while at the restaurant and on the phone with Hyperwallet regarding why the reward card was not working! So there is a literal record of my call and where I was and what problems I was trying to solve on the recorded line. Oh, I forgot, that record is with your subcontractor Hyperwallet, not with OpenTable. Like I said, the old OpenTable reward system worked for me, but not this one. Unfortunate.

   The chairs are old and need repair. They didn’t feel safe. My dessert to go was bought to eat in the restaurant; therefore, we had to wait to remake it to go. The food was decent, but a $100.00 meal it was NOT. More like slow fast food to eat in a room with lacking service.

   The atmosphere was good, spacious booth and acceptable noise level. Good beer selection and cocktails, but the service was very indifferent and the food, especially the pizza, was really disappointing. It was our first and we will not go back.

   The Jambalaya was way over cooked. Santa Fe salad was missing black beans and very little avocado. Should be heavy with both. Service was good but very slow.

   The service was AWFUL. We waited for 20 MINUTES before anyone stopped by our table, even to take drink orders. We were in the process of looking for other places to go before the manager came by and said our server was “really busy. I don’t know why they sat you already.” There were only 6 other tables of people. Now I know why it was so easy to get a reservation. 🙄 The food is good, but the experience was terrible. We went out for my daughter’s 20th birthday, but there was no acknowledgment or mention of that while we were there…despite us mentioning the occasion and singing Happy Birthday when they brought dessert. Overall, a BAD experience.

    Michael Jordan who is far from the NBA player, the floor manager was so unprofessional did not honor our reservation said there was a glitch in the system and didn’t have a solution for our party of two! The restaurant was so dead we were told the wait was going to be at least 90 min! So disorganized and disappointed with this establishment we ended going to Ruth Chris for dinner and waited 15 min to be seated! I give wanna be Mike a Zero for his Zero understanding for customer service!

    I was not able to be seated due to their system "having a glitch". And was given a 2 hour wait. I wish they would send out an email stating they are not able to honor reservations that day so I didn't have to waste my time driving there and pay tolls.

    We got to there for our reservation only to be told there was a glitch in the system and they actually weren’t taking reservations for Veterans Day. They could’ve at least called and reached out to the people who made reservations and let them know this beforehand instead of when you arrive for your reserved time. Very unprofessional. They then called us four times an hour and a half after the fact about an open table. We took our business elsewhere.

    We got there and they said since it was a holiday they couldn’t honor our reservation so we waited for 1.5 hours and then the service was horrible. The server came to our table maybe 3 times, only one refill. It was really bad and the food was very average

    We arrived for our 6pm reservation on a busy Friday night in Tysons only to discover that we had to wait 2.5 hours to be seated. The waiter told me their reservation system had a glitch and they were too understaffed to notify people who had made online reservations. The place was only 25% full with other disappointed would be diners waiting to be seated. The waiter told me they were understaffed. We left and were able to find a table at Patsy's next door which was full and booming. We were lucky to get a table at their first come first serve bar area. I don't know why Patsy's is able to fully staff their establishment but BJ's is not. It's unfortunate for the people who work at BJ's but after this experience, we will definitely not be returning.

    BJs refused to honor the reservation. They turned away two veterans and their two young children on Veterans Day. They excused their actions by stating that they were not supposed to have taken reservations, but did and then did not contact the patrons who had planned ahead. I would not recommend this establishment under any circumstances.

    The server we had was mediocre. He lacked the social skills necessary to be good at his job. When asked what I wanted, I was barely able to hear his voice. When I told him I wanted a cheeseburger with “lettuce, cheese, tomato only”, he repeated it back to me and I confirmed. He did not write this down, but attempted to memorize it. Clearly that didn’t work because when I got my meal, there was shredded cheese?, no tomato, and pickles??? Seriously??? Also, I was sitting with an empty glass of water for 20 minutes. Horrible service - never asked us how we were doing or said “goodbye, thanks for coming in!” Overall, disappointed with the service and food. My meal was underwhelming for a $15 burger and poor quality fries.

    My wife & I enjoy having lunch at the bar on Tuesdays when the wine is 1/2 off. Bartender Taz is attentive, professional and a great conversationalist when time permits. Taz works hard and offers great recommendations for dishes to enjoy. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Always good to see Oscar the manager. Check it out!

    Food was really good, our waitress Asina (I hope I got that right) was awesome and delightful, and while it was a quiet night in the restaurant I think it would be a fun place to watch a game.

    Service was attentive but very slow , they forgot to put one of the side orders . Nice servers but seemed too busy even though it wasn’t busy in the restaurant. It was understaffed seemingly. Over priced and food quality wasn’t great. Ordered a medium pizza but was given large. The pizza was topped with canned tomatoes instead of fresh tomatoes. Overall pricey and not restaurant quality for the price. Ingredients weren’t what they were being charged for. Who puts canned tomatoes ever on a pizza? Especially at a restaurant that charges over $32 for 10 slices. Ridiculous definitely not worth the money even though at the time they were doing half off.

    This review is LONG OVERDUE! I can not stop raving about Andrew B and Michael! Not only did I come on Saturday I came back by Monday. They made my experience so memorable along with helping my friend celebrate her birthday the RIGHT way. The two of them went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience from Michael with his management ability to handle a hectic and busy Saturday and Michael to making some of the best cocktails I have ever had. The both took the time to pay attention to detail, provide their expertise, and make me feel welcomed every time I have come into Bjs. I would not be returning without them seriously. I am a food blogger on IG/TikTok and my following listen when I say come here or don't lol. I would highly recommend coming to BJ's for anything especially if these two are here. Make sure they stay :)!

    We often eat here for many reason. Food is good and reasonably priced with specials at lunch time. The staff are friendly and helpful. Add to that the ease of reaching B.J's from the beltway and the excellent underground parking - not to mention the great choice of beers- this is a great place to eat.

    I made a special request for birthday when I made this reservation, but nothing was happened no one mentioned about the birthday , very bad and I would never celebrate any events at this and I don't recommend this to any of my friends

    Service was pleasant but really slow. Had to ask for things multiple times and still didn't get them. The entrees were fine, but the loaded nachos were anything but and the overall experience was only fine because we were visiting with friends and had a good time. We will not be back.
