BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Tucson Oracle
My experience at BJs was really good and the indoor as well.
Always a very good experience at BJs. A large variety to choose from in the menu. The only minor complaint was drink glasses sat empty longer than usual.
One of the best servers I've had at any restaurant!
But BJ's deep dish pizza, in my opinion and the opinion of others in the party, doesn't contain enough marinara sauce. We actually were given an extra container of it to spread on the pizza after our first several bites, at our request.
But the service was outstanding; we'll be back!
Former high school students of mine contacted me and offered to buy lunch for my wife and me. I was their teacher teacher more than 45 years ago. Both ladies had success in their careers and they wanted to thank me for it. I was an English and Journalism teacher at a Wisconsin high school near Madison Over the many years I had lost track of them until last year one contacted me when I told her we were retired in Tucson she asked if I would mind if she came to the area to see relatives and to buy us lunch or dinner. We accepted and it happened 48 years after their graduation.
We never made very large salaries in education but the rewards of students never forgetting your contribution to lives is an immense reward. You provided the venue.
They REFUSED to honor our Open Table reservation nor honor the fact we were also preferred BJ members. We had made reservations on Monday knowing that tonight we would have a busy and long day at work. Hostess said they “were too busy to honor reservations (and she) didn’t care if we were preferred members or not. We had to wait for over 30 minutes for a table. The whole experience was an awful disaster. Our waitress was the ONLY redeeming factor.
