BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Tucson Broadway
Zucchini strings were delish. Everything else was sub par.
Loved how the table was ready and prepared as requested. Everything was great but it seemed like we lost some attention to other tables in refills for water and other drinks.
Good neighborhood eatery. A little loud but food is good.
Nice crowd for a weekday night, great service and all the beers were on tap. You will like this BJs...
It was a family meal. Food and service was good. We will return
Tri Tip was great. Ditto Two Bone Pork Chop. Ceasar Salad was just chopped romaine and ho-hum croutons and dressing, no anchovies, no parmesan cheese. Service was very good. Very loud but OK sitting in a small booth.
When I arrived at the restaurant and presented myself for the reservation, I was informed they did not have a table for me. The system reflected a reservation but the "paper" didnt so it would be 45 mins before my party would he seated. There were empty tables. Our food came out cold and service was slow. Most guests did not like the plate they recieved. The food was bland and tasted like frozen food that was reheated.
The tri tip was delicious the green beans could use some seasoning. The calamari was good.
The ambience was great, facility was clean and well organized. The price was reasonable. We had a wonderful, attentive waitress. The food portions were large and tasted great. We like that one can have a breakfast or lunch at lunch time. The booths are comfortable and roomy.
Took a few to get our order taken.
Attentive during and after meal.
Large portions of fairly mediocre food. The servers are stretched thin, resulting in long waits for drink refills and orders.
Your website for online reservations leaves somewhat to be desired, i.e. didn't work as no record when we arrived. We are regular customers of BJ's on Broadway in Tucson for their baby back ribs which are outstanding and good value. Generally sit in the bar so don't have to wait for table and service is good.
Tad on the spendy side, but good food and excellent service. Little noisy, but not so loud we couldn't have a conversation. Had the Jambalaya and was just spicy enough for my taste. Have had their pizza and thought it was the best I've had so far in Tucson.
I’m not sure why they even take reservations, as my party had to wait 40 minutes to be seated
Erica was an AMAZING and attentive waitress! She had an engaging warming smile! Thank you so much for taking care of my crazy bunch for our celebration of my daughter and my promotions! We hope Erica had a great night!
We had a reservation for 5:45 on a Friday night. Service was great as was the food. We found liquor prices pretty high. We would definitely return. Huge menu with a great wide selection.
Olivia is an excellent server - friendly, efficient and full of great suggestions.
For what they do, they do it better than just about anyone. Casual dining in a clean, comfortable setting with great service, a varied menu and delicious food. Would I go here for a special occasion dinner? Probably not. But for a casual lunch or dinner with the family or friends or business associates, it's terrific.
Took our Veteran out for lunch. The service was great as well as the food. Only complaint was that it was a little dark and hard to read the menu.
The worst part was the hostess. When we checked in with her with our OpenTable reservation she told us there was a 20 minute wait. It didn’t look very busy. So I said, but we have a reservation with OpenTable and she said “well, there’s a wait.” And she just stared at me. So then I said “well I guess we’ll go sit at the bar and wait. Can you give us a buzzer or something so that we know when our table is ready?” and she said “no you’re just gonna have to listen for your name.” She was so rude that we almost walked out. After that everything was just fine. Actually because we used open table, my Apple Watch alerted me when our table was ready. That was awesome!
I really like the location in Tucson because it is very nice and cool.
Overall was a really nice experience. Our server was great and the daily specials and happy hour were really nice as well! Our server was kind enough to give us the happy hour specials even though we were not seated in the bar area. I feel like that is kind of a silly rule to begin with. A party of 6 including three kids the bar isn’t really practical and I was appreciative that they bent the rule for us!
Also it was dead when we went, 5:30 on 4th of July I was shocked! Good food, good beer, fast service. I would def recommend. The only reason for the 4 stars was their silly happy hour rule.
Excellent staff interaction with guest, excellent food presentation ,healthy food selection and great tasting food 🥙!
What I thought was a reservation wasn’t. It was a call ahead. Food was decent and plenty of it. Waitstaff was pleasant if not overly attentive. All in all a good experience with some flaws but I’d go back
