BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Santa Rosa

Great service.....delicious food. We love our lunches at BJ's.

Made open table reservation day before, when we got there they said they did not make or have any reservations
I had to show them my confirmation email for them to believe me
They kept us waiting a long time for a table
Problem somewhere

Had made a reservation for 3 people at 5:30 pm on a Fri. night. Arrived to see many booths/tables empty, but still asked to wait 10-15 min. before being seated. Seated 3-4 other groups prior to us. Wait staff took quite a while to acknowledge us and provide menus. Food was alright, although husband enjoyed the baked ziti a lot. Place did fill up during our meal.

I have been to BJ'S in the past, so that is why I decided to take my nephew here for his birthday. Let me first say the waitress was great having to deal with the poor management leading this location. It started with ordering some drinks- sorry were out of those 2x, then on to items on the menu, 3 x I had to order due to manager stating they are updating the menu and selections being limited? Sorry we will give you desserts on the house. Then they bring a salad that had the main ingredient left out but I was still being charged for the salad with out the main ingredient. Sorry were out of that too. Service tip: Tell the wait staff ahead of time what you actually have, so they dont have to keep going back and forth to the kitchen then have to tell the customers...sorry we dont have that right now. 2 .5 hours later we finally got out the door. I wont be visiting this location again.

We love the food at BJ's and being able to watch our favorite teams is a huge plus!

I would have given our recent experience a 4 or 5 star rating except for my husband's prime rib
was tough. It normally is excellent and he will order again in hopes it will be better next time.
My salmon was perfect!

Discovered while perusing the menu that BJ's offers some vegan options. With a vegan and a vegetarian in the family, this is great news. Food was yummy and everyone was happy!

The waiter was exceptional but the hostess station gave extremely poor service. Three hostesses were talking with each other and too busy to seat us. The place was 1/2 empty, we had reservations and we were on time. Because we used Open Table for the reservation when we arrived and they finally checked us in on their computer, I received a text that my table is ready and to report to the the hostess station. When I told told them about the text and that I am here they looked at me and made snide remarks quietly to themselves about me bothering them. So I went and sat with my family and once I sat down they motioned to me the table is ready. We won’t be coming back as this is the third time this has happened with the hostesses to busy to assist customers at this location. The Sacramento BJs is not like this Santa Rosa BJs.
