BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Laguna Hills
Great food options available. I like that they have lighter calorie dish available.
The service and cleanliness of this place has gone down considerably. Disappointing!
It was good, for some reason, this location always seems to be slow. It wasn’t even that crowded.
Great lunch deal. Very packed for lunch time.
The food was delicious and our waitress was very patient and helpful. Very noisy though.
We always enjoy BJ’s in Laguna Hills. Our server, Elizabeth S. was excellent and working very hard as the restaurant was packed. She still took time to answer questions, was on top of everything and made our birthday celebration extra special. She is a great asset to this organization. The Wednesday special, loaded burgers were delicious. The food server could benefit from some social tips as he seemed to be in a hurry, very direct and not a good listener. Possibly just having a hard night. Overall the atmosphere was very comfortable.
We had a great dinner with friends.
My husband and I eat at BJ’s all the time, it’s close to our home. We like the food, drinks and service but last night the Moroccan chicken was terrible! It’s dry, the cauliflower was mushy and tasteless and the sauce (not sure what it was that they used but nothing taste Moroccan about it!
The boneless short-ribs were tough and dried out. The veggies were mushy and were over seasoned with too much pepper. We sent both of these back. The baby back ribs were not up to the normal standard for BJ’s. We were too hungry and frustrated to send these back. The poozokie was raw in the center. Like eating cookie dough with ice cream
Great service, awesome servers, and the value is great!
My experience was just OK. I didn’t feel like my waitress was very attentive. There was no checking to see if I would like more to drink. I felt like I was a bit forgotten for a while there. My friend told me that this is the third BJs she’s been to with blasé service. At least the food was good!
The hostess walked us to the very rear of the restaurant passing lots of open booths. I don’t know why we ended up in the back. The waitress Olivia failed to give me my discount and had to see the manager to fix it. She talked so fast we kept having her repeat herself.
Great family venue. Would definitely go back again.
Had a mix up, thought I’d booked Laguna Beach not Hills but when we got there, found out the menu was limited and no spirits - just beer and wine.
Switched back to Laguna Hills and they got us seated quickly. BJs is a great family place, good choice and prices are affordable.
Had a good meal and everyone’s bellies were full. Always a solid choice for the family and budget!
Noisy, over priced, service ok. Staff was friendly. We did get seated on time. We don't go often.
I really like the food - my only complaint are the extremely slippery floors- it's like trying to walk on ice and I not exaggerating. Considering the restaurant serves a lot of seniors from Leisure World, this is really not acceptable.
This our go to place when we take the grandkids out,it is perfect for family dinning. My granddaughter summed it up quite well when we were leaving on Friday, She looked at me and said"best night ever" .
Food was ok, not memorable. Service was ok. It’s is so noisy it’s hard to have a conversation.
all was great! we celebrated a birthday and we loved the 1/2 price large pizzas on Monday along w/wings and pazookies! Our servers were great!
Waiter was excellent!
I love how they have lunch special so it makes it easy a lot of varieties and good price.
This place always delivers great food & service. One of my favorites
I usually don't go to chain type restaurants but I was meeting somebody who was driving south & I was driving north. We wanted something in the middle & a Brewhouse. I've been before & have always had good experiences. My friend had never been & he loved it! He also happens to be a world traveler which says alot I feel!
Took our three grandchildren out for Saturday night, ages 6,5,and 2. They had a wonderful time as did we. We had a great server who really made the night. The grand kids are already asking when we can go back.
They loved the root beer floats.
The service was outstanding, and the food was very good. The biggest problem I had with the place, which lowered much of my score, was that the floors were SUPER SLIPPERY!!! Do not go there wearing regular shoes - you can ice skate on those floors! It's a lawsuit waiting to happen! My boots were slipping everywhere. We mentioned to the staff, and they were apathethic. There are 2 "caution" cones next to a wall, but that didn't help me from slipping and almost falling, even being cautious! If that wasn't an issue, I'd have given far higher score to the place. Again - the waitstaff is EXCELLENT!
When we arrived at 6:15, they said they did not have a reservation for us thru Open Table but that they would put us at the top of the wait list. After 5 or so minutes they sat us in the patio area and we told them we had another person to join us and they said they would send him back. At 6:35 I finally text the other person and said "we are in the patio when you arrive". And he text back and said "I have been inside the restaurant, seated, since 6:10 and had told them to send us there when we arrived. I suspect that the reservation dropped off once part of the party arrived. This was very frustrating and a problem between Open Table and B'J's.
Winter formal with 11 teenagers! They had a great time.
I ordered a MW steak. It was brought out burnt with charcoal all over it. Quality control of food coming out of kitchen was exceptionally bad. When I complained, they cooked a new one. It took forever. When it came out, it was MR. I just ate some of it because I didn't want to send it back again. Manager came by and offered my kids ice cream in exchange. Gee... thanks. When you charge $25 for a steak, learn how to COOK IT!
BJ"s had really good assorted flat breads, but also a good steak.
