BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Laguna Hills
Food was good but soup was cold, next time I will send cold food back but I was in a bit of a hurry.
great food and service! salmon was best ever!
server was sweet and and positive!
Food was good and the service was great except that our appetizer came after our food and we ordered the appetizer about 10 minutes earlier. Also, $14 for egg rolls was a bit steep.
Way over-booked... told us we'd have to wait awhile for our table as they were busy and could not honor our reservation time. We left and won't return.
Very disappointing based on past experiences. Portions were really reduced while prices spiked. I know we are in hard times but my $14 BBQ bison burger almost disappeared in its empty plain bun with nothing on it. Had to waive down staff to fill drinks, mustard, and check. Very inattentive to us even with few people. Would have tipped much more to help everyone but horrible service. No gloves when he handled my drinks and plate. Table was not clean. BJ's can do better and I will be happy to return. Just give me enough food to match the price increase please. Too crowded at exit and could not distance to exit. Felt very uncomfortable. Work on things BJ and community will be glad to help you out.
We had a reservation at 5:00, but did not get seating until 5:45. Service was slow- got food at 6:30.
Delicious food and fun beer flights! The service was outstanding.
The vegetarian pizza and the avocado roll appetizers were so delicious!!!
Not a lot of seating with the distancing. Server didn’t come back a lot towards the end. Overall great considering the circumstances.
Celebrating a birthday and the staff was great. Waters and teas were always full and the food came out in a timely manner.
This is a great place for a nice dinner. The prices are very reasonable, especially if you split an entree, which is easy to do. And the desserts are killers!
The atmosphere during this time of Covid was spot on. I felt safe and things were done the right way. I thank you and commend you for it.
Social distancing excellent
I ordered a margarita which I have had many times here. It arrived in a tall glass and was orange. I took a sip and called our waitress over. I told her it had orange juice in it which didn't belong. She left and came back shortly to say the bartender says he always puts OJ in margaritas. NO YOU DON'T. That was all you could taste. No tequila and no sour.
They did not offer to make a new one or take it off the bill.
I am not hurrying back.
Very well done
Staff very kind and attentive
First time out since COVID. Not a good experience in general, but great to be out and about.
We like the “social distancing”. They had every other table shut down so it was comfortable, not crowded, and the reduced number of tables in use really cut down on the noise level. They tried to have you use your phone for ordering and payment, but when we told the server we were technology challenged, he gave us paper menus and a regular check! LOL
My rib-eye steak was full of gristle. I couldn't even cut it with the carving knife. They had no baked potatoes at 5PM. We were left without a waiter almost the entire period. At least they didn't charge me for the steak.
Our Family favorites include the spaghetti with meatballs, Caesar salad, all the pizzas, and anything with salmon! Terrific beer, wine and cocktail selection and LOVE the monkey bread pizzoki!
It was great walking right in!
Great nachos. Happy hour only available in bar area.
Family Valentine’s Day lunch / brunch get together.....
Our meals were excellent. Service was the worst we have ever experienced in BJ’s. We both ordered simple
meals and were there 1.5+ hours for a quick bite to eat.It was busy but BJ’s is always busy. All of the tables around us were served in a timely manner. It was our waitress that was inattentive. We finally asked to see a manager. She delivered desert. She didn’t identify herself as the manager until we asked. She said it was a busy night and the waitress was behind. She just didn’t get it!
Good food, good service, busy, noisy place. It’s a party here! Be ready for it!
Had my in-laws in town for lunch with my husband & I and our kids. Planned ahead & made a reservation & was given a table right next to Hostess stand & in the midst of all the tables of people yelling for their football teams. It was so noisy & not enjoyable at all!
Delicious lunch and great service. BJ’s never disappoints!
Great food options available. I like that they have lighter calorie dish available.
The service and cleanliness of this place has gone down considerably. Disappointing!
It was good, for some reason, this location always seems to be slow. It wasn’t even that crowded.
Great lunch deal. Very packed for lunch time.
The food was delicious and our waitress was very patient and helpful. Very noisy though.
We always enjoy BJ’s in Laguna Hills. Our server, Elizabeth S. was excellent and working very hard as the restaurant was packed. She still took time to answer questions, was on top of everything and made our birthday celebration extra special. She is a great asset to this organization. The Wednesday special, loaded burgers were delicious. The food server could benefit from some social tips as he seemed to be in a hurry, very direct and not a good listener. Possibly just having a hard night. Overall the atmosphere was very comfortable.
We had a great dinner with friends.
My husband and I eat at BJ’s all the time, it’s close to our home. We like the food, drinks and service but last night the Moroccan chicken was terrible! It’s dry, the cauliflower was mushy and tasteless and the sauce (not sure what it was that they used but nothing taste Moroccan about it!
The boneless short-ribs were tough and dried out. The veggies were mushy and were over seasoned with too much pepper. We sent both of these back. The baby back ribs were not up to the normal standard for BJ’s. We were too hungry and frustrated to send these back. The poozokie was raw in the center. Like eating cookie dough with ice cream
Great service, awesome servers, and the value is great!
My experience was just OK. I didn’t feel like my waitress was very attentive. There was no checking to see if I would like more to drink. I felt like I was a bit forgotten for a while there. My friend told me that this is the third BJs she’s been to with blasé service. At least the food was good!
The hostess walked us to the very rear of the restaurant passing lots of open booths. I don’t know why we ended up in the back. The waitress Olivia failed to give me my discount and had to see the manager to fix it. She talked so fast we kept having her repeat herself.
Great family venue. Would definitely go back again.
