Server was completely clueless. Please..Write it down if you can’t remember order!!. Got ham pizza instead of pineapple. We never once mentioned ham!? We wanted just pinnacle, on half. Very greasy and not even close to the pizza we ordered. Couldn’t eat it. Server offered to bring cold pinnacle to put on our already cooked pizza but never offered to make it without ham. BJs could do much better . Food was gross and server seemed like she was on something with her eyes half closed and inability to remember a very simple order. This dinner was a waste of time for us. Would not recommend.

We arrived to watch the football game. Had a reservation. Confirmed with hostess when we were seated that one of the many TVs would have our game. We arrived 30 min before kick off. 5 min after kickoff we’re still waiting for game t
The food was great. The service was good. The only problem we had was it was super noisy you could hardly hear the people across from your talking and the sound seemed to vibrate and roll across the whole restaurant.

Worst experience yet at a BJ’s. First time in Gainesville. Server was terrible. Table was not set up when we arrived (had reservations). After the appetizers were delivered to the table, server asked us if we needed silverware….seriously? After we were done eating our calamari and dumplings, she came back and asked how was everything….to which I replied….it would have been better if we had silverware, napkins, and small plates. Dinners eventually arrived but all three were missing their sides. But don’t worry, they arrived at the end of our meals when we didn’t want them. Lemon Drop martinis were absolutely terrible. Pretty much everything from start to finish, dinner was terrible for a party of three. $150 later, we paid our check. We will never be back to BJ’s in Gainesville.

Took. For. Ever. The table that sat after us had their food before we even had our drinks, despite our order being placed before they arrived. Waiter was nee (2nd day), but it seemed like no one was helping him. Managers were apparently all in the kitchen cooking food. Food wasn’t all correct, but we weren’t about to send it back because we had already been there far too long.

Brought my husband’s food out and waitress said mine was coming (soup and salad). 20 minutes later he is finished and I still have no food. I canceled that and ordered a cookie with ice cream with strawberries. Another 15 minutes go by and I ask about my order again and she said they have to bake the cookie. My thoughts- they were busy but not a full house by no means. How hard is it to ladle soup from a pot and throw a salad together. The cookie was good but I should have been informed about the fact that they were baking the cookie. I had ordered that because I thought it would be quick——again put a cookie in a bowl with a scoop of ice cream and some strawberry sauce!!! They didn’t charge me for the dessert - she was writing it off as a birthday reward. Gee thanks!
We enjoyed our meal but the staff is not careful with gluten free food and even served us a beer instead of Angry Orchard cider.

Wasn’t the best experience to say the least. Our salads and soups came out great but when our entrees came they were missing the steak on my daughters plate and the onion strings for my order. Also the prime rib I ordered Rare came out medium well instead. It was interesting because my sons burgers were ordered medium rare and were good. Our server was very nice and doing a good job but it took over twenty minutes for the steak to come out which is when we were already done with our meal. As I said our server was very nice and trying her best but it wasn’t a good day. Also a manager never even came out to talk with us and that was the most disappointing part of the experience. I am not sure if there was an issue that night but it didn’t seem like the restaurant leadership was present at all to address it.

My food was very cold after I waited about an hour for it. I understand our server was new but it took her 20 mins to greet us. It was an over all wait of 1 hour and half. First time I get a negative experience at this restaurant. The appetizer was delicious so was the pizzookie.

Restaurant good choice for outside covid dining and for gluten free food allergy accommodations.
This was quite possibly the worst dining experience I have ever had at BJ's. My first silverware roll up was wet and filthy with food attached to the fork. I asked the waiter for another, I received an equally dirty and wet rollup. When the food runner brought out food, 3 of us received our food. I was left waiting and no word as to what was the hold up. The waiter came back to check on us after about 10 minutes to see how food was and asked where mine was. That was my question. He went back to kitchen and came over an apologized that he forgot to put my order in. My entire table ate and was ready for dessert before my dinner came. In the process, I went to the ladies restroom where there was NO toilet paper and the trash was overflowing. By the time my dinner came it was 2 hours from when we sat down and I boxed it up. We paid 54 dollars for the two of us and literally won't be back for a very long time. No manager apologized at all. Very disappointing Saturday evening for sure.

Food was just ok. The appetizer potato skins were 99% potato and .5% scallions. Please, when you charge $9 for an app, do pile it with cheese and bacon. Entrees were fine. Salmon was tasty. Ribs were very tough.
Had a business meeting with 4 people, will do more meetings in the future.
Overall it was a great place for our date night! Location awesome! First time for both of us and def not the last....

I had a reservation for 7:00 pm. I was about 5 minutes behind schedule due to traffic so I called the restaurant and alerted them that I would be 5 minutes late arriving, I arrived at 7:05 and was not seated until 7:20 pm. No reason, excuse, justification, or apology was offered.
My visit was on Tuesday, December 22. The restaurant was noisy and conversation was not very easy. The service was adequate but not exceptional. The food was acceptable but this is definitely not a four-star restaurant. If my date wanted to return to this restaurant, I would not object, but i would not suggest this as a destination if you want a good dining ecperience.
The food is always great! Good covid precautions. Would love a BJ's in Ocala. Recommend highly.
I wish they could enforce the county mask mandate without being harassed by patrons. May guest would walk in without it and cough.
We arrived early for a 7pm reservation. We were seated and our waiter took good care of us.

Understandably, things are stressful during these times. But you would think, at half capacity, the service and food would have been better. Our waitress was sweet, but my drink was forgotten and watered down by the time I received it. The mozzarella sticks were tasty but the large amount of parsley thrown on top was not appealing. The flavor of the salmon was good, even it was a bit dry. But the real issue in my meal was the asparagus. It was limp and way over cooked. I could have eaten several more helpings of the couscous, however. The star of the meal was the Pizookie. We got the Trio (salted caramel, brownie and strawberry shortcake). They were absolutely delicious. If we were to patron Bj's again, it will be a take out order of couscous and Pizookie! But I don't think it is worth the drive or the price tag.
Reservations were great. Service was great. Using cellphone for menu and payment was nice. 3 out of 4 meals were very good.

Server was very busy as well as the restaurant at the time of dinning. She did the best she could to provide average level of service and attention given the amount of tables she was juggling. She was very efficient and wasted no time or trips to the tables. Food was consistent with other locations. Not bad not especially special. Wish I would have tried location during a slower time.

I don't really know how the food or value was because we never got seated. When we arrived, they said they did not have our reservation. I showed the hostess the Open Table confirmation and she offered to put us on the call ahead list for the time of our reservation, but said it would be a 30-40 minute wait. We could not wait that long to be seated as my son had a hockey game and that would be cutting it close. To make matters worse, we then got an email from Open Table saying the restaurant had marked us as a no-show. I responded to that and explained and got an acknowledgement from Open Table. I don't know which party was at fault, but it was not a pleasant experience. We ended up across the street at a pizza place. :(
We booked this New Years Day, it was pleasantly busy. We ordered burgers and salmon. Whoever cooked the salmon, it was perfect! Nice service, our waitress was new, super nice but a little flaky. I think she'll be great with more experience.

Can’t go wrong with BJ’s. We’re lucky to get reservations on a busy weekend and didn’t have to wait long. Service was good as was food. We will return. Location and parking good.

I've been to this restaurant multiple times and had spotty service and spotty food preparation more than once. On this occasion, we waited 15 minutes for the server to come to the table. By that point, I had already asked for the manager. The hamburger I ordered was overcooked again! The food was fair but not worth the money.

This is one fantastic restaurant; we are so happy to have found it through Open Table. The menu is unbelievable - it will take you several minutes just to read through it. Food is great as are the prices. There is no way anybody would be disappointed here!
