BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Frederick
Already did. Great food, good value and super friendly wait staff.
Good food, whether it's a quick cheap burger or a fine salmon entire. However it is a bit loud on the weekends.
Was seated when we arrived no waiting. Server was really good was on his A game. I was the one who had the birthday and I enjoyed the free desert. Everyone in the party enjoyed their meal except me. I had the fish n chips with French fries. The breading covering the fish was somewhat burnt Iike it was fried in very used oil. The French fries were cold and had a hard bite to them.
Overall it was okay and I would come again, will try something different though.
We were happily surprised with how wonderful this restaurant was. Great service and food!!! Can’t wait to go again.
Our food was great and our waitress was phenomenal!!
We have been here several times as a large group. On Sat. I attempted a call ahead, was told only for groups six or less. I asked about open table, the girl said “as far as I’m concerned they need to do away with that.” Glad I ignored her, we got the table on time. The server was polite but service seemed incredibly slow. I was the last to get my food out of 13, it was a bowl of soup and that was after the wrong was brought. My fathers order was wrong, my daughters was wrong, and my nieces order was wrong. Not sure who was at fault for the food, the kitchen or the server. We will be looking for a different venue the next time we are all together.
Service was terrible - didn’t receive refills, meals came out at different times,
Great food, Atmosphere and service
Good healthy choices
Our server Owen made our first experience there a great one. He did the right amount of suggesting without being pushy. He was kind and attentive. He’s definitely a rockstar. I wish I had 10 servers like him at the restaurants where I work.
Went for prom the service was great got seated immediately and food came quick almost a little too quick but everything was good
First off..what good is a reservation if you are told you have to wait 20-25 minutes upon on time arrival? The hostess was haughty and unapologetic! First brought wrong appetizer then the correct one was cold.
Made a reservation at 5:30pm, didnt get seated until 6pm.
We were able to get reservations for 10 of us and everyone lined their meals and drinks.
The last couple of times we have been to BJs we have been disappointed. This visit we ordered the nachos as an appetizer and a pizza. The nachos had very little cheese, tomatoes or anything else on them, and the dish was lined with paper that stuck to the chips. The pizza toppings did not get within 3 inches of the edge. We had this issue with pizza at BJs before, but thought it was just a bad day. The flavors and appearance of the food has been less than pleasing on our last few visits. Even though we had excellent service, we will not be returning. There are many other good restaurants in the area.
The hostesses were very prompt in seating the large party I had reserved the table for. As far as value and menu, it’s a typical American chain. Not too much variety and seasonal, but people mainly go for the revolving beer list. Hence the brewhouse in the name. Always a go-to spot!
It was a quiet Sunday evening at B.J.'s which is not usually the case as it is very popular. The food was good although the chicken used in my fettuccine was not of a good quality. However, I wanted to remark that our waitress was outstanding in every way. Her name was Rachel and she made the dining experience with her overall speed and kindness. So glad we decided to dine again at B.J.'s. We will be back soon.
Made a reservation, sat within 5 minutes of arriving. Gotta try the avacaso egg rolls for sure, they're so good. Everything came out in a timely manner except something I asked for to be taken off my salad came it anyways. No big deal, just picked them off. Dessert was amazing, their pizookies are delicious. Place is a little pricey but good overall. Around 70 bucks including tip for a appetizer, two entrees and a dessert.
Honestly, BJ's needs to trim down their menu - way too many choices and the food is overpriced for what you get. Service was excellent though.
Love the food, service is good too but the wait is always ridiculous
Ordered the ribeye medium and it was seriously undercooked. Sent it back and was returned still undercooked. My wife’s pasta was over cooked to the point of being mushy. If you’re looking for more than burgers, or salads go elsewhere. The manager did take half off the entrees, but even after that we felt we paid too much.
Prime rib is presumably in the menu but seldom available!
Seated promptly. Food was really good, I had the soba noodles with chicken, generous pours on the wine and the young man who was our server was on the ball but not hovering. Will definitely done here again.
Waitress was very inattentive...did not bring our appetizer at all. Food had been sitting too long so was not hot and very dried out. Overall, not as good as usual.
Great service for New Years dinner with wife and I. Atmosphere was pleasant and our server was attentive to our needs/requests. Drinks were good along with food. Had the bone in pork chop - perfect! Thanks!
We generally enjoy coming to this restaurant. On this particular night, for whatever reason, the service was extremely slow. While we enjoy a nice slow meal, not being rushed, this was exceptional. The restaurant did knock a few bucks off the meal, without us asking, so that was nice. Of course we will return, the food is good and the atmosphere is nice.
The food was fine however, when you show up at 5 and its not busy you shouldn't be there until quarter of 7. It felt like after sitting there waiting for dinner for almost an hour someone should have offered us something but the waitress never even as much as apologized for the wait. The crowd did not match the wait.
Service was slow. Food did not come out all together. My steak was dry, my fathers was rare when he asked for well done. Atmosphere was nice though. Might give it another chance but definitely won’t go out of my way to eat there.
Never disappoints! Great gluten free options.
Burger was soggy, my friend had to eat ice cream with a knife because no spoon was provided, service was slow, had to ask multiple times for refills on drinks/condiments, dessert came in a tinfoil container. Not a dish.
Very easy to find. Plenty of parking around the restaurant. We were greeted in a very friendly manner. We had a reservation and we were seated at the time of the reservation. The waitress was very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu choices. Our food can quickly and was exactly as we expected. We did not feel rushed even though there were people waiting for a table.
Our reservations were for 6 PM and we were not seated until about 6:20. The waitress took more than 10 minutes to come to our table and take our drink order. They were really busy, so we were patient, and did not let it ruin our night. By the time the waitress came and took our dinner order, things were slowing down and we told her that we had a show to get to by 8 PM, she assured us we would. We were not served our dinner until 7:20 ish. We scarfed it down. Our drinks (soda) were NOT refilled at any time until I asked when our dinner was brought to us at which time I asked for the check because we were in a hurry. We did NOT get the dessert that was supposed to come with the meal. I'd noticed our waitress several times over at the "station." When I walked past to go to the restroom, I could see she was sorting out what looked like cash (tips?) receipts, etc. I guess that was more important. BOTTOM LINE, it was my first and last time I'll eat there, the food wasn't even that good, my friends prime rib, cold and fatty! We barely made our concert at 8 PM.
service, food, drinks are all good, very clean and nice people. it was a good place to watch the games..
My wife and I took two of grandchildren out for dinner - “ribs night”. The meal was very generous and included a salad (or soup), half rack of ribs (or a full rack) , two sides, ending the meal with a dessert. It was perfect and everyone was very pleased ;-).
The menu is large. There is something for everyone. The pizza is awesome, I got the thin crust. I highly recommend it!
lunch at BJ's with 4 other women. Other 4 people enjoyed their food. Mine was very unsatisfactory. BLT salad was primarily older, tough spinach, dry and not as pictured. I requested my sirloin cooked medium, received it very well done and tough. Small portion of Asparagus was tiny, spindly and mushy. Generous serving of Broccoli was cold and no seasoning. Flavored tea was never refilled.
Server was attentive in beginning. Answered questions. Waited long time to get food. Server never came back to check on us. No drink refills. when bill came, gave us credit card bill with no pen and left.
Not a good experience for me. I had organized the luncheon. I will not go back or take groups there again. Group asked how my food was- I was honest with them. Wish I had complained to management but no one visible.
A huge selection of optioms! Food was very good and service was great!
AJ was a delight! So glad BJ's hires people who have a wonderful sense of customer service! From the hello to the goodbye, it's always a wonderful experience.
Food was good, but took long time to arrive. There was the Stanley Cup finals on with the Washington Caps playing so it was crowded. Service could have been a little more attentive even with the crowds
Nice place. Good selection of beers. Almost too many items to choose from. Good for a group outing. A bit too moist if want to talk.
