BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Desert Ridge
Everything was fine except for the noise level because the place is large, holds many people and has no sound absorbing decor. I would not recommend it if you're looking for a peaceful meal on a Saturday night.
We were seated 10 minutes after our reservation time. We received our food after two tables who came after us were served. The waitress looked like she was doing her best but it appeared that perhaps she had too many tables. It took her a long time to get back to us.Food was good but nothing to write home about.
Was great evening. Our waitress was great and very personable.
Six of us got a both in the back, which was quiet enough that we could enjoy the conversation. Food was very good as always. The IPA I had was a keeper -- forget the name, but it was the third IPA on the menu. We'll keep coming back to BJs.
Always great service and varied menu... great attempt to honor reservations
My meal was cold. I had the BJs pizza. They charged me 18.95 for the small and it was supposed to me 16.95, which was still overpriced for the size of the pizza received. Service ok... nothing special. Had reservation and it was still a 20 minute wait. Probably will not go back. Too many other good restaurants in Scottsdale to choose from.
Great experience. Food was hot and tasty. Service was above average but to be fair the waitress was seated a20 tip just ahead of us. She did an excellent job under the circumstances!
Excellent food, service and ambiance! We will return!
Birthday with family was fun!
Double pork chop is excellent as is the Asian Grilled Chicken Salad
We always love dining at BJ’s. Their menu is huge and everything is delicious!
Had a wonderful experience. Very reasonably priced. Didn’t have to wait more than 3 minutes for our table.
This is a good place for family dining. They have a very large menu which is helpful for children as well as teenagers. Lively atmosphere, fun environment.
Food good, service was lacking, of course especially when we had another engagement to get to
We wish there was a BJ's in Utah. We went there 3 times during our week stay in Scottsdale.
We have been to BJ’s many times, and we are always impressed. We had the monkey bread pazookie for the first time, and it was incredible! The rest of the food was delicious as well.
Met up with a dear friend
When we ordered appetizer and the meal, we got the meal within 10 minutes after receiving appetizer. We felt rushed.
Very happy with our service and their ability to change our orders to accommodate Keto dieters in our group.
One of my favorite places. Everything I have ever ordered has been very tasty or delicious.
6pm reservation, 625 we left for a different restaurant.
We've always enjoyed dining at BJ's and it is never disappointing. We will be back.
Family get together
Table Service was awesome. Noise level was beyond bearable, will avoid dinner hours in future. Food was way toooo salty for our taste.
I would return
Menu was huge but will meet anyone's dietary needs
Food was fresh and great flavor
Great service food was nice and fresh cooked just as we asked and manager even checked in on our table.
Granted it was a Saturday evening, but food was not as good as we had previously at this same location.
Great service, food and company! I order shrimp scampi and it was awesome! The portions are huge! Leftovers were my dinner the next night too!
The seared ahi salad is very good, and so was the grilled salmon.
Glad we made a reservation on a Saturday evening. Food was awesome plus we took advantage of the free appetizer---spinach/artichoke dip (too good also!) Our server was the best--friendly, helpful, attentive etc. We all tried something different and no one had any complaints (other than we were too full for dessert ) Even took home leftovers. All said and done...we'll be back!
A very nice establishment that had a generous happy hour. We will return when we have a chance.
Good food and service was great really enjoyed the evening and look forward to next time.
Food was good, our server was very attentive. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. My only criticism was it was a little loud.
Decent food. Steak and seafood fare. Only real issue is happy hour. After you're seated you find out it's only in the bar despite no mention of that on the website. Friendly waitress.
Great place. They do take opentable reservations as well as call ahead so you can easily get a seat when it’s busy.
The food is always consistently good and the servers have generally been there a while so the service is good as well.
Perfect everyday place to go.
I ordered the wedge salad and the lemon thyme chicken for my lunch. The salad was brought to the table and just as I was cutting and mixing my salad and had taken my first or second bite the entree was dropped off at the table. When the waitress passed the table she remarked oh they brought your dish right away. I said yes and now I will need a box.
The waitress brought the box and the check as I was still eating my salad and had not even began my entree.
I have dined here multiple times and this has been my worst service visit. I felt rushed and not taken care of and ultimately finished my meal at home from the take out box.
Serious lack of timing and recognition of a casual dining experience by the waitress.
service was overall good just a few mishaps but corrected quickly. Food was cooked well and nice and hot from the kitchen. look forward to going back.
Took Granddaughter to BJ’s before a concert at the MIM. She had the Salmon meal and loved it. My husband and I shared an appetizer, the sirloin tip sliders and we each had the Tomato Mozzarella salad. Fresh, and just enough . Like their variety of drinks, appetizers, complete meals and or light fare.
We keep having Customer Service issues at this location. Several of us share the same view.
This place really has to figure out the waiting situation. You walk in and are crammed in the face with people waiting in the doorway and all the way to the hostess tables. You can’t wait outside as it was 104 degrees outside. We counted 3 groups walking in, seeing the ridiculous crowd in such a small place and leaving. That’s lost money. The wait was well over an hour, so boy were we happy to have the opentable reservation! I don’t ever come here due to the waiting situation, but my dad wanted to come here. All of our friends say “that place is good but the wait is ridiculous so we go elsewhere ”. Low incentive to fix it though as they probably look at it as a weeding out process.
