BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Del Amo
My waiter, Byron was great and so attentive. He is definitely an asset to the corporation.
It was nice to get to go out for dinner again. It gave us a sense of getting back to normal.
Very clean and ambiance was great. Food prices were also reasonable.
Reservation was a breeze. Our table was ready 20 minutes earlier. Social distancing was practiced appropriately.
We were seated quickly even though we had arrived before our reservation time. Sevice was quick and the food tasted just as good as other times there.
Celebrating 2 birthdays after the fact. Was good to get out. The only down part was they did not have what we actually wanted to eat. They were out of tri tip and the pork chops which was what we wanted , but the chicken was a good alternative.
Went for daughters birthday. Service was a little disorganized at first, but they quickly recovered and our server took care of us with a smile and great service. Food was good, flatbread pizza, potstickers and surf and turf. The craft beer Oasis Amber Ale hit the spot. Will try the other craft beers next visit. The Oreo cookie pazookie topped off the night, those are always warm and tasty. Our hostess Kylee was fun and she took care of us quickly and with a big smile.
I ordered the salmon and it was delicious! My husband and son each ordered rib dishes and enjoyed them. And we all loved those Pizookies!
Service was absolutely great in spite of restaurant being at what looked like full capacity. If we hadn’t made a reservation we wouldn’t have waited; BJs is good, but not worth the wait.
Lovely Christmas Eve dinner. Everything was perfect!
It was good
First, want to say that my husband and I enjoy our dining at BJ’s at Del Amo mall. We come every two weeks and the service has always been pleasant, the orders are correct and come to the table in a good time span and the attention to service has always been spot on, until tonight.
The wait for our server to come by and just let us know they would be right with us was a bit long, we attributed this to the place being busy and dismissed it as that, but the wait was noticeably longer than usual. We ordered with the server, who we have had several times before and they take the order without any iPad, tablet or writing it down, and our orders are correct, but tonight our order was very incorrect. We ordered two drinks, soda, coffee and water. We then continued with our dinner order. We received our soup and salad, but none of our drinks, and we didn’t have silverware to eat with. Finally got our silverware, still no drinks but water. Asked for straws for the water and never got those. Our dinners came out quick, while we were still eating our first course. I took a few bites of my food and realized my order was wrong, I got mashed potatoes instead of baked and my prime rib was medium rare instead of medium well. We still never received our drinks. My husband and I debated to let the server know about all of the errors, but decided to let the evening go on and reflect our disappointment in the tip that we left. We also were watching the other tables this server had and there were a couple of the tables that we overheard the patrons talking about poor service.
I do want to mention again, that our trips to BJ’s are usually very good and we leave full, happy and enjoy our dining there. Every place has an off night, where things just go wrong no matter how hard you try and it seems the food and the people are just off, but in the food industry, that can be disastrous. Being in customer service myself, I know how important it is, being consistent and attentive is key.
Great service.. Good food.. we had a wonderful evening.
Great food and no wait time with reservations. Our waiter was Jueventino and he had good recommendations for food. Steak was perfect
Meals came out at different times. Last one was just as everyone else was finished eating. Had to ask for silverware three times. Worst experience had in a restaurant for a very long time. Was embarrassing as I had out of town family with me. Food when it came was good.
My reservation was cancelled because one person arrived late.
All food was served at once, appetizers, soup, salad, and main dish.
BJ's is a good place to eat for the money you spend.
We were seated right away, before our reservation time. The host Kylee was very sweet and greeted us kindly. Our server Nia was professional, kind and very thorough. We never had to ask for refills and she checked on us frequently. It was pretty busy, but Nia made sure we had a great dining time. The food was delicious, came to us pippin hot and fresh. My husband took advantage of the Wednesday burger special and it was huge, he enjoyed it. I took advantage of the $4 beer special and had that with the turkey club. Very tasty and fries were hot and fresh. Bj’s has pretty good specials during the week, we’ve tried a few and haven’t been disappointed.
It's a nice place to get together with friends, but not a date restaurant. Very noisy and you have to tell over the crowd to converse with others.
Food is good, except the pasta dishes are a bit on the salty side. I recommend meat dishes and burgers. Beer selection is decent. Dont bother with cocktails or margaritas as they skimp on the booze.
BJs is always a great place to have a leisure dinner after a movie.
And now with OpenTable it's a no brainer, no waiting, no long lines.
Tasty as always. Service was attentive. We were not rushed. Enjoyed the lunch specials
I made reservation approximately 1 hour before arrival. We were greeted warmly and given a table immediately. Wait staff attentive without rushing us. A great variety of craft beers to choose from. I enjoyed the Jeremiah Red. My husband's salmon was very tasty, grilled to perfection. The spiral zucchini with grilled chicken in a creamy lemon herb sauce was terrific. We will definitely be back.
All of our food did not come together. One of our guest had to wait 20 minutes before getting her food. My son sweet potato fries didn’t come until he finished his meal . When they came they were cold. So we had to wait until they fixed a fresh batch. The waiter got another guest drink wrong.
We hadn't been to BJ's in quite a while. We wanted to have dinner close to home after seeing Amaluna. My husband suggested BJ's. What a great dinner we had. I had the grilled Mediterranean chicken tacos. They had such a fresh taste. And the mixed grains salad was tasty and a nice change. My husband had the Brewhouse burger with bacon and cheese. The French fries were perfect. Soft inside, crispy outside. Service was perfect. Our waitress was very attentive and allowed us to enjoy our time together. Coffee and sharing the salted caramel pazookie topped off our evening. We'll be back.
We had the prime rib and our waitress was great. Reservation honored promptly and we were seated as people were told the wait without reservations was 30-40 minutes. Thank God we reserved!
Our waiter, Scott, was fantastic and helped us feel welcome and well taken care of considering it was our 1st visit....and our 1st date! The dinner was excellent and enough to take home for a 2nd dinner the next night.
I really loved my server! I have forgotten her name, but she was amazing and caring.
Love that you can reserve through open table! It helps to know that we arent waiting for 45 minutes for a table to open up.service was amazing, thanks to Richard T. He was attentive without being too bothersome. Food was excellent & came rather quickly.
It was good.
Birthday celebration for my mother. Josh was great
Table was ready on time! Our server was a little busy, but got our order correct, it just took sometime. He did check to make sure our order was correct.
Servers didn’t notice completed/dirty dishes placed at edge of table. A few passed them by. We had to ask them to take them to make room as they brought over more dishes. Nor did server notice empty beer glass.
Always a great time at this BJ’s! Had a big party the last two times I went, but not too long of a wait, even got to set a reservation for a party of 7 a couple hours before going on a Friday night! Good food and service! Overall pleased!
Super noisy and crowded. Food came out at different times which was awkward for our party of 6. Food was room temp not hot. Server was nice but way to busy. We had to ask for more water etc. Seemed good for maybe a happy hour. But was just ok for dinner.
Great time, Maricela is a vet attentive server. The store is a little loud.
I was expecting more flavor on the food. The ambiance was great. They sit me right away. Served was marvelous.
While the service from Chris was impeccable the food was bland and zero flavor. I had a gift card and thankful I did . I won’t be back. My steak had no salt no pepper no any type of seasoning neither did my Brussel sprouts I had to salt and pepper then myself in order to actually swallow the food. For $18 for steak and sides it should have some flavor. I was so disappointed
Now that this restaurant takes reservations it's great to take my kids there. Our server was amazing & made the experience fantastic.
The deep dish pizza is delicious; along with their Pizookie, get the trio and get any flavor including their premium flavors.
Waiters to busy and don’t even pay attention to you at all only when you ask for something
