BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Daytona

It felt like our server was just an order taker. She entered our order into her tablet with very little human interaction. Would have been more pleasing if we could have just borrowed her device and entered it ourselves. Totally missed any chance to upsell with drinks and appetizers--pretty much rushed through to the check.

Kathleen was amazing! We were there having a reunion of sorts with family - needless to say we were talking a lot and it took us a while to decide what we waned and order and we stayed at our table much longer than we would have normally (4 hours plus ?) She was super gracious and patient - she never made us feel rushed or like we had worn out or welcome and kept refilling our drinks. Would definitely recommend especially Kathleen!

Food took an hour to come out and all of the hot food was cold and 2 meals were wrong. They did comp our meal.

We chose BJ’s because the reviews said there were a lot of vegan options. Since we were in DB for vacation, we decided to give it a try. Vegan options were not a thing. One soup and cauliflower tacos minus sauce and cheese. The soup was good, but the tacos were tiny and lacking in substance. Our waiter was one that used “us” and “we” when referring to my daughter and I. This is just a pet peeve of mine. WE were not there on a date with the waiter... it’s just weird. I had a steak and potatoes, they were good. The dessert cookie was the highlight of our dinner. BJ’s isn’t on the list of must visit places when we come back, but it was okay.

The server was very knowledgeable and made some good drink suggestions and drinks were great as well but the food was extremely bland it had no flavor at all not even salt so for spending $111 I would only return for drinks

Everyone enjoyed their meal, great service, noise level ok. I would definitely go back.

We've been to BJ's several times now. The food quality is not consistent. This last time we thought we're try the prime rib special - good deal for $24.95 (15oz prime rib, soup or salad, two sides, and dessert). I've had prime rib many times in my life and I've noted that I will never get it at BJ's again. It was dry! It was a red but absolutely no juice or moisture in our prime rib. When we go back. we'll stick with our usual or try something else. However, I do not recommend the prime rib.

Great food and location.

Example: we asked to have our salads come before our chili. They didn’t.

We went with a small group. Had a great time. Atmosphere and food are always great.

Stopped for a quick bite before heading back home from vacation. The tomato bisque was probably the best I've ever had and with a side salad it was the perfect size. Next time we're in Daytona we will definitely stop at BJ's....the beer selection looked superb.

During this time of COVID 19, we realize restaurants are working with limited staffing. I reminded my husband of this two nights in a row at other restaurants. BJ’s was exceptional! From fresh food to quick friendly service, our expectations were exceeded for the first time in a long time! Great Service! Great Food! Great Job!

We had an 8 pm reservation and when we ordered drinks, they were out of strawberry puree. That ingredient was in a lot of the drinks on the menu. I don't know when they discontinued the beignets but I was looking forward to those when it was time for dessert. The food was good but did not blow me away. The prices were fine.

keep in mind this is very difficult times for the staff with covid-19 restrictions

Our experience was great! It was our first time at this restaurant. There were many food options and I was very happy about that. I ordered the power bowl with salmon and it was delicious! I even ate the leftovers for breakfast the next day, and it was still yummy. I would definitely dine here again.

entrees were not. up to your standards...Fish and chips did not have any cole slaw,, fish was not thawed thoroughly causing batter to fall off before serving

Food was good. Good server but missed a couple things. Distancing was great.

We come here often - even though a bit of a drive from Ormond By The Sea. Because the menu is SO varied and meets the variable wants at the moment - AND because one can go with standard bar choices or try the home brewed beer - AND because the server staff are seasoned pros - AND because it has the prettiest bar anywhere!!

During the Daytona 24 hour race, food was ok, service great add watching the race on screens surrounding the bar and restaurant? Hard to beat

Food was very good. I had Fish n' Chips. It was nice white Cod, instead of the Swai or Talapia that most places serve. Great wings and Spinach/Artichoke dip. All in all, an excellent meal. We'll definitely go back!

Taking our granddaughter from DE out to dinner with her boyfriend on New Year’s Day.

Very slow service & steak salad was super rare & had to be sent back & didn’t arrive back until everyone else was finished.

Then dessert was ordered & took forever! Then we waited a long time for our bill

We have eaten here before & feel the quality has gone downhill.

Good and customer service was ok too . Except that we made a reservation and they still made us wait for about 20 minutes. So we were disappointed about that also they kept bringing us the wrong dishes.

First of all, I made the reservation several weeks ago and we were seated in a round booth, just large enough or 8 people. We were all crowded and touching shoulders.
My meal was fine, but my Girlfriend's tri-tip & grilled chicken was dry and tough. The chicken was dry and had no sauce to help. The beef was also tough, dry and not med/rare as ordered.

My Girlfriend and I have gone to the Oviedo BJ's and have enjoyed it. When my friend was going to be in Daytona, I organized this meal with our local friend, myself and my out of town friend and his parents and friends, because we had good experiences with the Oviedo BJ's.

We were very disappointed with our experience with the Daytona BJ's.

Good food, great atmosphere. My only disappointment would be that the service could have been a little more attentive. I would still return and recommend BJ’s to my friends.

Jonathan provided excellent service! Always delicious food and wonderful specials.

We were seated outside at our request. The drinks were delicious. We ordered appetizers and the waitress was upset that they hadn’t been delivered when she checked with us. Our dinners came promptly and then the appetizer! We were pleased when the waitress brought the bill and told us the appetizers were on them! We had ordered from the Enlightened menu and the food was delicious and properly seasoned. We will return. This was our first visit to this location.

Unfortunately, the service was not great. Food was poorly plated and not great tasting. It was at best average. BJ’s was a restaurant we had always looked forward to visiting when in Daytona. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

It was way to cold in the restaurant to enjoy the food and friends.

Great time to celebrate a friends birthday!
