   We love BJ’s. It was slower than usual due to homecoming but our server was very good.

   Our server was very pleasant. However, the kitchen stinks! 4 of us had reservations for 7:00. At no time was the entire restaurant more than 50% filled, more like 25%. Our food took forever to come out-for an idea of how long, we were there for 2 hours and didn't linger after dinner. I ordered roasted asparagus with my meal and there was so much pepper on it that I couldn't eat it. I was nearly finished with my meal before the server suggested we try another order. It came out quickly but it was barely cooked. It shouldn't take this long to have a meal that is subpar and this is the second time in 4 to 6 weeks that this has happened at this same location. Management needs to get a handle on this.

   Made reservations 11 days in advance, and they did not have a table for 6 available, so put us in a booth, which was fine. No one came to our table for over 20 min to even bring water. The prime rib was salty. Chicken Alfredo was dry and bland. Pazookie was delicious, though. The server never checked on us after we got our food. Very slow and unorganized.

   They let a family with a puppy come inside and set at the booth behind us. The puppy was all over the seat and put its paws on the table. The the kids stood up and was tossing the do in the air by the time we left. I know Ohio has a new pet policy for OUTDOOR dinning and no pets should be on the seat or table. My husband has allergies and no one wants any dog hair in their steak. It looks like the manager came over at one point but didn't say anything about the puppy and didn't ask them to take the puppy out of the restaurant. Being an upscale restaurant I was very shocked and would have left had our food not just came out of the kitchen. This is a clear violation of the of health codes.

   This is the second time within 4 weeks that we've eaten at this BJs location. Our reservation was for 7:00 and both times the restaurant was about 75% filled when we arrived and less than 50% filled by the time we received our food order. While the food is delicious, both times, we waited between 45 minutes and an hour to receive our food. Both times we said something to our server and was told they were busy. Also on both visits, the broccoli I received was not tender and basically cold. This past Saturday, my mashed potatoes were also cold. Why didn't I send them back? I didn't have another hour to wait for replacements and I didn't want to eat my meat and the remainder of my meal separately. I'm not sure what's happening but other local restaurants can get the orders to us in a timely manner.
