BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Cupertino
We went there for a birthday celebration. The waitress was really great. We didn't need to wait long every time we needed her help. I did find the food on the pricey side. Also the shrimp scampi pasta way WAY WAAYYY too salty. The ribs were fabulous. Don't get the calamari.... overpriced and very little and over-fried. The waitress gave us the free Wednesday piezookie plus the birthday complimentary piezookie, so that was really nice!
Service took longer than usual , although the restaurant was empty.
Disappointed in the service- waiter disappeared a couple times...needed refills, dirty dishes left in front of us, took way too long
Our waitress Anna was outstanding!! Our food came out in a timely manner (30 in our party)! Food was delicious!
Very poor service upon entering to check in. Went back 10 minutes after reservation was set to ask when we’d be seated as our reservation time had passed, rude response by staff member.
Same staff member still had poor attitude, walking ahead expecting us to know he was now ready to seat us without verbal long telling us. This same staff member showed us to the table, saying nothing. Long while later we were greeted by friendly waiter asking for drink order.
Gave us appetizers but no plates to eat it with until we asked. Food was okay, nothing I’d return for. Only positive was our friendly waiter.
We have been there twice and both experiences were good. If you are looking to there on a Saturday, now that they are super super busy. I tried getting a reservation 3 weeks in advance with no luck, had to take a Sunday.
wait staff (and our primary waitress), need help
The service was amazing! The food is always good, just a little expensive
BJ's was crowded, which probably impacted the very slow service. It took over an hour from the time we placed an order for the appetizer (buffalo wings) until it arrived at our table. Further, refills on drinks were slow. Our server was apologetic but the entire dining experience for weekday was over 2.5-hrs... Not good.
Service not good up at front desk. Irritated that I used open table. Food is ok. I didn’t get 100 points for going!
BJ's is a restaurant that has a big variety. Something for everyone. It is a casual atmosphere.
The best thing that I like about it, is they have a very good rewards program. If you do try it, it pays
to download their app.
Cool place to hang out with friends. Enough food & drink choices
Enjoyed our experience eating lunch last Sunday. Will go back again.
The food was delicious, if and when it managed to reach the table and the staff desperately tried to be attentive. However, the restaurant was packed, chaotic and cacophonous enough to be headache-inducing. The amount of tables assigned to each server and lake of coordination between servers made for slow, unpredictable service.
This is not a good environment for a dinner party or special event, overall disappointing.
Food is good. Nice variety, but the service was inattentive and very slow. 2.5hr meal with kids is just too long.
I made reservation via OpenTable for 7 at 6pm Sat. When I checked in, one of the reception told me I have to wait for an hour even though I have reservation. How ridiculous! He said they don't accept reservation from 3rd party (I assume he was saying Open Table!), and they have their own reservation system, so end up they overbooked. It just made no sense, and I waited for a while then ask for the supervisor. She immediately gave me a booth and see our parties can all fit, and of course it can be fit! Please train your reception for more professional customer service. Your food, servers and environment are good.
Went there for my son's 26th Birthday. Always a great experience.
Always lots of activity - lively sports bar, but comfortable and with a well appointed dining area. We sat in a nice booth & could easily have a nice conversation. We were there for my Mom's birthday.
