BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Columbiana Station
Should figured it out immediately - hostess was bored, no interest in us as customers, didn’t say a word, threw menus on table and walked away. Service as slow as a snow storm in South Carolina. 20+ minutes to get a beer, 90 minutes to get dinner. Food was very good.
Great time celebrating my birthday
The waiter was ok, definitely not great, he didn’t refill our drinks for long periods. But, the place was out of zucchini noodles. The only reason I wanted to go there. So then when I ordered something different, he had already put my husbands order in and when he brought our food, mine was hot and my husband’s was cold. They didn’t put cheese or mayo on his, which he specifically asked for. His turkey had lots of gristle. Mine was ok, not great. We won’t be coming back.
Great food and service!
My daughters 16th birthday.
Need to do a better job of separating reservations and walk ins as it relates to wait time to be seated.
My burger was literally burnt.
Appetizers came lukewarm, had to ask for place settings and appetizer plates.
Otherwise, solid service.
Our food came out in 15-25 min intervals instead of all at one time. First my ribs then my husband ‘s Jambalaya 15 mins later along with chicken Alfredo that we didn’t order for my son. He ordered Spaghetti with Meatballs that we had to wait another 10 mins. The compensation was dessert for one person. I know it was not the server’s fault but the kitchen. I would have enjoyed the experience if we all got to eat at the same time. Been here before and our experience was totally different. This left a bad taste in our mouth because we were late attending the movies even though our reservation was a whole 1.5 hours before the movie.
New Years eve
Absolutely fantastic food with extensive options! As someone who is gluten free, I had forgotten just how great dining out can be; BJ’s brought back the joy!
Typical fare for the chain. Loud interior, plenty of games on the Tv. Lots fo beers on tap.
Food is average to just above average. More of a gathering place for families and friends with a wide variety of tastes.
Great food and beer. A very extensive menu.
The restaurant was extremely crowded but the service/server was very good. Disappointed with quality of food. Queso was runny and the deep dish pizza was soggy-seemed microwaved not oven cooked. Nashville chicken sandwich was on a bun way too big. I have been to other bjs where the food was not disappointing.
Too noisy. Food was great. Menu a little confusing.
Very nice variety and wait staff was very nice and knowledgeable.
Friendly, attentive service and great atmosphere for dining with a group of friends.
The food was exceptional and the service fast and responsive!
Pretty good overall, but for chips and salsa appetizer the salsa had barbecue sauce in it. And there were a few old French fries mixed in the chips. Strange.
Great menu with a variety of options for everyone! Our waitress was knowledgeable and helpful with our menu choices. The food was delicious.
We were celebrating a family birthday. Our server was Laura, she was great! She was very helpful and super friendly. She took great care of us even though it was very busy! The manager on duty stopped by our table and chatted with us even though he was also quite busy. The food was excellent and arrived quickly fresh and hot. We all loved our drinks, appetizers, meals & desserts! We will definitely be back!
Great location and easy parking too!
We love going to BJ's Brewhouse and it's the official date night place for my husband and I and we do recommend it highly! With that being said, there have been a few challenges with the quality of food the past 2 times we've gone. The staff and manager always make it right though! We've chalked it up to being super busy, however, we truly hope for the amount we pay for our whole dinner experience, quality in the food preparation does match the value.
Huge menu, fun drinks and desserts and everything was great
Celebrated our anniversary here service and food was awesome our server was polite and welcoming.
Even through it was packed, they served us well and we received our food sooner than expected.
Food was good but we wanted to order the beer special for April and they were out; we wanted to order the thin crust pizza and they were out of the crust. We ordered the wings and did not understand the “dry rub” as we thought it was a traditional dry rub so we asked for a dry rub with a side of the BJ peppered BBQ. We got plain cooked wings with a side of the cherry chipotle sauce. It was good, but not what we expected or ordered. Waitress thought we wanted plain wings since we did not order a flavor of the dry rub - complete misunderstanding. Again, food tasted great, but we missed out on the things we originally wanted.
Nice addition to the Harbison lineup. The menu is an insane 24 pages long, with lots of great photos of drinks/dishes along the way. There is truly something for everyone.
Our party of 6 tried several cocktails, flavored teas and sodas, a sampler starter that included boneless wings, artichoke dip, avocado eggrolls, mozzarella sticks, and possibly something else I'm forgetting, and a wide-ranging set of entrees- pasta, pork chops, a soba noodle dish, ahi salad, and pizza.
The beer menu is respectable and very reasonably priced, and I thought the same of the food menu. Our server Elizabeth was lovely, and when one person in our party got the wrong dish, it was rectified quickly and also comped from the bill.
We all had a tough time narrowing down our orders, and are eager to return and try a new batch of dishes! Glad BJs has come to town!!
Food was good, arrived in a timely manner! Will be going back soon.
We had no small dishes, napkins or silverware with our appetizer. Our salads came out first, but we had nothing to eat them with. We waited almost 10 minutes to catch our waitress but to no avail. I stopped another waitress going by and she delivered. Their was not enough salad dressing on the salads, almost dry. Steaks were small along with the portion of mashed potatoes that came with it. Felt the dishes were overpriced. More bang for the buck at Texas Roadhouse. I suggest when the waitress first comes to your table, she has the silverware with her and anything that comes afterwards are able to be consumed.
While the service was great the food was not the best. We have eaten there before and it was amazing so we brought my dad for his birthday and we all were underwhelmed. We came for the prime rib and it was severely overcooked. My husband's ribeye was over cooked. My chicken was nearly burnt. And my son's pizza was rock hard. We didn't send anything back though because we didn't want to wait another 30 mins for food. My husband and I might come back but my father said he won't
Great beer selection, lots of variety for food options. Meals were okay, service was very slow but the manager came by and said our food was on them. So at least they realized the problem and did what they could to make our experience better. We'd go back, definitely for the beer and to try some other food.
Our waiter, Ray, was very nice and funny. He was very knowledgeable and made our dining experience one to remember. The only issue I had was that I made a reservation for 5 at 5pm. When we arrived we still had to wait about 15 minutes although it wasn't very long, I didn't think we should have been waiting considering the reservation was made a week in advance.
We had a 4:45 reservation. When we arrived they had us wait 10-15 minutes for our table. That was the wait anyway so why take reservations. Once we were seated we waited and waited and no server came to our table. So after 15 minutes I went to the hostess and she said someone would be over. A waitress from another section came over and apologized way more than the manager and said she noticed no one had come to our table. The manager came by and half heartedly apologized and said we could have a free appetizer and gave us an excuse that the server was in with the GM. We did not order an appetizer and we never heard from the manager again even though he walked by multiple times. They had a server from another section wait on us and his service was great and he hustled even though his section was on the other side of the restaurant. POOR MANAGER WHO COULD CARE LESS!!! KEEP YOUR FREE APPETIZER AND YOUR MEDIOCRE FOOD!
WAIT STAFF EXCELLENT!
Decent food, our waitress Taylor was amazing, and always down for a Pizookie!
The food was great. The wait was awfully long to be seated, even with a reservation.
Good food and good price
Reservations made online for 4:45pm on 1/19/19. Arrived on-time and seated quickly. Took 10 minutes to be waited on for drinks. Took 10 more minutes to receive drinks. Ordered food, several appetizers not available. Ordered 2nd round of drinks and had to remind waiter of the order. Food arrived, was tasty and reasonable proportions for all parties. Ordered 2 desserts. Check presented so we paid prior to dessert arriving. Asked about dessert and one was delivered. Asked about 2nd dessert and manager came over to tell us it would be 45 minutes to prepare. Unsure how long we would have sat there if we hadn't inquired about our missing dessert. I could not recommend this restaurant to anyone until the service significantly improves. $140 bill for 4 people. We had 4 alcohol drinks plus dinner.
First of all if the restaurant is asking what the occasion is I do expect the restaurant to accommodate for something! Had I known it was a 60 Birthday I would have gone somewhere else... I was very upset with that. Then with making a reservation and waiting an additional 30 Minutes for your table. Not a great way to get started. I will not be back to the restaurant
Met some friends for dinner. Great place to get together!
