BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Colorado Springs
This was the second time we reserved a table using OpenTable at B.J.'s. Both times they had our confirmation number and were told it would be a few minutes. Then they lost our confirmation number and our place in line. It took us over 50 minutes to get seated.
Awesome service by our waitress.
Our waiter was excellent but the kitchen was VERY backed up, so that was a nuisance. He kept us posted but there was nothing he could do about it.
2 birthdays and an anniversary! Everyone in party was pleased
Went on a Thursday night with the ribs or tri-tip special. Food was well-prepared especially given how busy the restaurant was.
Service could have been better, appeared they were understaffed for the volume of business; that led to delays in refills, etc.
Food was great. Service could have been better
This was the SECOND time in about a month we were served wine in champagne glasses - because they were... OUT OF WINE GLASSES!! Next time we're bringing our own!
Come on guys!!! Get on the website for "Riedel" Wine Glasses - they will "school you" on why the correct wine glass is important!!
Pretty good value with lots of choices.
I have to say that running our of wine glasses is ridiculous! It wasn't that busy when we got there, we ordered wine quickly, and our wine was served in champagne flutes!
Did I say ridiculous?
Great experience, a bit pricier then I expected but excellent service, food, and drinks.
We had to wait for our food and when we got it, one order was not correct. Our waitress was professional and quickly corrected the order. The restaurant was very crowed and as a result, very noisy. Food was adequate..
Experience was great as always. I have been to BJ's is 3 different states now & I have NEVER had a bad encounter. Thanks!!
Club sandwich was just ok ! I have had better ! Service was slow and terrible ! It wasn’t even that busy. The only thing good was the flight of beer tasting :)
Great service and waitstaff. Everyone’s food well prepared except mine. I ordered the jambalaya ( my usual order). Price has increased and jambalaya was overlooked and dry. Still edible. All in all will go. This experience with food not the norm. Usually 4 - 5 star.
We were seated right away. However the soup we got was luke warm. The queso was cold. I ordered the pork chops they were out. The chef accommodated me and said they would get some more. It would be 20 minute wait. When I got them they were not cooked all the way through. My friend ordered the parmesan crusted chicken. The chicken was dried out. They did replace it. I'm not one to complain. I wasn't pleased. I dont know if the cooks were having a bad night. It will be a while before I come back. I did tip our server it wasn't his fault he was just doing his job.
We are so pleased with our experience at BJ's. We have eaten there numerous times and are always pleased with the food and staff.
Food was served out of order. Entree, then salad. Manager did come by to apologize but did not offer any compensation (I.e., no charge for salad or free drink/desert. Food quality was just so, so. Probably won’t be back
The food was great and the service was even better. I will definitely eat there again.
Great for groups because the menu is so large that there is something for everyone. Good pizzas, great brews, salad options and OMG the pizookie, save room for the pizookie!!
Our plates were dirty. Enough said from my perspective.
The food was ok to good. The server was absolutely horrendous. She took our order reluctantly after we sat for 20 minutes. I should have left then. We never saw her again. Our food was delivered after another 20 minutes by another person. I had to walk through the restaurant to find her just to get a check. No place is worth this kind of hassle. WILL NEVER GO BACK.
We had three different meals - two fish and chips, one ribs and sides and a large salad. All three meals were delivered to the table quickly, the portions were pretty much just the right size to fill you up without over doing it. I had one beer, which also came quickly, and was nice and cold. This was for my wife's birthday and she enjoyed everything about the meal.
Great place for a quick and good business lunch
Wide menu variety plus daily specials meant that everyone in our group found a perfect meal option.
Highly recommend saving room for a pizookie for dessert.
Something for everyone.
My waiter was amazing, was very attentive to all our needs
I’ve never been disappointed with BJ’s.
Recommend reservations as it is very busy especially on the weekend.
The noise levels on Friday and Saturday nights is a little noisy, but not so you can’t hear your table mate.
Really like BJ's for a chain - excellent food, huge menu that pleases everyone at your table and awesome service. I cant recall our servers name but I do remember he is from Kentucky - close by where we are from in VA. He was SO spectacular. We had guests in from out of town and they were so impressed.
I love going here for the pazookies. The service was a little lacking.
This is a great place to spend time with family when we are in the Springs. Food quality is consistent and service this time was better than ever! Well worth the return trip every time
Great atmosphere on a Saturday evening! The place was packed and the number of people waiting to be seated was long. We used OpenTable and we were quickly seated at the time of our reservation! Food was excellent and service was outstanding! Would use again.
Great place for dinner. Maybe a little on the pricey side, but not overly so. Good diverse menu with lots of choices. Excellent beer selections. Great friendly service. Reservations on Open Table didn't help. Still had a long wait to get in.
Great food, service. Always enjoy coming to this restaurant.
Had the lemon thyme chicken and it was fabulous! The menu is huge so there is something for everyone! And the salted caramel pizookie was divine!
It was clear they were understaffed and the wait time was a little long but the friendliness and initiative of the staff made up for it. Overall the food was good, a bit expensive in my opinion but nothing terrible. Food was a little cold. House beers are spectacular. I’d go back for the bar, probably not the food.
We arrived at the early part of the Colorado Springs dinner hours. Our table was ready, and the waiter was very accommodating. Our food came quickly, the beer was delicious, and we were done in about 45 minutes! Excellent service and food for a Friday night.
Previously had good experiences at BJs. This time the food was good, however we had to wait awhile for our food. One of the servers came by and told us that our food was delayed because my wife's order. We waited an additional 15 minutes after that and noticed that a couple next to us got the same dish my wife ordered -- they had ordered after us. On the plus side, the server gave my kids extra fruit and garlic rolls.
The only upside to this dinner was the selection of great beers on tap. The burger was just fair
and the sweet potato fries were terrible. The fries looked like they had been prepared hours
ago and were reduced to tiny and tough bites. Service was OK. l We will not return.
although very busy for a Wednesday night, the reservation made thru open table got us seated right away. everything was great
I have eaten at BJs many times and have NEVER had anything that I didn't find delicious. However, last Saturday evening, April 28, I was very disappointed in my dinner. I ordered the shrimp & asparagus penne pasta. (We had to wait quite a while for our food but were apologized to twice by two different gentlemen.) It wasn't a big deal as we were enjoying catching up with our friends. However, when I got my dinner, it was only lukewarm and I believe only had about 4 one-inch pieces of very skinny asparagus in it. It had a good flavor but could have been hotter and had more asparagus. It did have several shrimp, however. But overall, I did not think it was worth the $17.50 we paid. Also, I am VERY disappointed that the cucumber jalapeno margarita has been removed from the drink menu. That was my favorite thing to order at BJs.
