Great experience staff is nice and food is great!
We were sat next to the servers station which is normally not a problem but this particular visit it was. At one point there were about 5 servers in the small station discussing work, schedules, and commenting on patrons at the bar. I was trying to enjoy my first meal outside the house in months but I felt like it was in a business meeting. I finally decided I would take my food to go and finish it at home but the problem now is my server was nowhere to be found. So the food was great but the service wasn’t ideal. I still tipped because I know the servers are putting their health at risk showing up to work but I probably won’t be back anytime soon.
The food was pretty good made a reservation at 8 got there at 7:30 and got seated at 7:35!!!! Lol
Felt very safe going to lunch with my parents who are seniors. All the staff take the safety measures seriously: all staff wore masks the entire time, they had a table in front of the entrance to take reservations, the seating was spread out, each table had an individual QR codes so you could see the limited menu and pay your bill in touchless way, no table condiments, but they served us on plates, regular table wear and cloth napkins. glass drinkwear. Have no problems going again with my parents or anybody else who needs to be careful.
Food was cold, no silverware, water came late. Normally the service is very good. We had to do a lot of waiting.
Appetizers were cold, our server took it back and brought us a new one but it was also cold. Our server took it off our bill... It was very busy and it took longer than normal to get our dinner. When it finally arrives it was just ok... still a little cold for my tase but we were hungry and the kids were restless so We are and skipped dessert.
This was a horrible experience. When we arrived, host made a comment about how making the reservation on Open table was like making one over the phone, but still sat us promptly. I do not understand what purpose the comment served other then to be snarky. Once sat, the server was very pleasant, took out drink order. We waited 30 minutes to get to our table which is unacceptable considering they appeared to have had plenty of staff . At that point , when the server came around to take out food order, we decided to just pay for our drinks and leave
It was a shame considering the restaurants ambiance was great and was looking forward to having meal there.
I gave 4 stars for service, because I am not able to split the stars between the reception desk, who gets a -5 due to their failure to greet, and their very unfriendly seating style, and the table staff, who earned a 5 for their cheerful greeting, smiles, and excellent service. The food and drinks were delivered quickly, and were especially tasty on this night!
They were very busy. Glad we had a reservation. Lots of staff on hand who did a great job. Food was excellent.
Avacado rolls are our all time favorites. Very good menu. Almost everything for all type of food lovers. There are few great vegetarian healthy options like , cauliflower pita rolls and peruvian quinoa bowl. Kids menu is also very rich unlike other restaurants . 👍👍👍👍
After being seated, we waited 20 minutes without seeing a waiter. I complain to the hostess who said she would send someone right over. 10 minutes later, still no one. I asked for the manager. 10 minutes later we left, still not having seen a waiter or the manager.
This was for a birthday dinner.
We will not go back, and urge anyone considering this restaurant to think twice.
Menus were sticky and grimy. Pizza was undercooked and not sliced well (a small task that makes a big difference). Drinks were good, no salt in margarita (not offered). Server was pleasant and helpful.
It was quick with the app and good service.
At first they said they wouldn’t take an open table reservation. So we went searching other venues. Shortly we got a text saying our 59 min wait table was ready. I love their enlightened menu w healthy choices, so I was glad they worked us in. I think open table needs to explain the process to them.
LOVE the food usually, fun atmosphere. This time long wait for food and it came almost COLD. Had not seen server for quite some time so suspect she did not deliver timely (considering 2 meals affected). Others didn't mind. New SP Fries requested, advised would eat salmon dinner. Almost done and new salmon dinner delivered. Told to keep it; took it home. NICE but should not have been necessary.
Restrooms almost out of TP, several rolls were out. Manager standing around chatting with coworker. Seems could have been directing restroom cleaning. Not too busy. Still had fun but management that night seemed quite off.
Will definitely go back there again. We enjoyed it at this location as well.
Had to cancel my drink because it was brought last. Had to order 3 times with 3 different people.
The BJs in Lakewood I would not recommend to anyone. Our server came by to get drinks and then came back to take our order. We waited an hour before even getting our appetizer. And then another 45 to get our food. Our server had come by four times to let us know that our second pizza would be comped because it took so long (and mind you, the place wasnt busy, no wait time, no large crowds, and there were plenty of open tables) anyway, the manager came by and said they apologized for the wait and if there was anything he could do. We said that the server was going to comp the second pizza (a medium two topping pizza so like 18 bucks). We get our check and nothing has been comped. We ask our waiter what happened and all she said was if the manager didnt take care of it that it wasnt going to happen. We paid and got the hell out of there. Will never go back.
Server had a large party to deal with. We got food but not salad and no utensils. Had to ask twice. I was surprised they didn’t check on drink refills. Did not expect it to be so busy on a Tuesday. Their new lighter fare menu is excellent!!
I have been there many times but it’s been awhile, and it’s changed for the worse.
It seamed that all the servers were new and in organized.
Food was not good, I got the prime rib beef dip and it was pieces of dried beef from the outside of the prime rib, if it was prime rib and the bun was very dry. The auju was served in a very small cup that a side of catsup or ranch dressing would be served in, and too small for the sandwich to fit in.
Another of my guests got the soup and it was served cold, sent back and was barely warm when reserved.
It took about an hour to get our food, and another half hour to get dessert after it was ordered.

The hostess was great, friendly and very attentive
Service was terrible. Waitress had no eye contact because she was trying to enter orders into iPad. It took forever to get our order taken and then she only wanted our drink order even though we all were ready to order food as well. Took her another 15 minutes to come back to get the food order. They weren’t busy even though it was a holiday, but we didn’t get our food for until we’d been seated for at least an hour. Also took the waitress forever to deliver our check and to bring it back for us to sign. The food was good but the poor service made it a one star experience.
Our server, Betty, was the absolute best! One of our group had a dietary special request and this was taken care of.
Took forever to get our food. (45 min to get our appetizer). Their machine was down and we couldn’t even pay our bill in a timely manner. It took us over two hours to get out of there.
Best Service, Food was exceptionally delicious, and the Piezookie Dessert is awesome!!!
Busy night, food was good, got to watch the basketball game because of all the tv’s, and the pizookie was excellent as always.
I used the online reservation system and we were seated as soon as we arrived to the restaurant even though there was a huge wait. We felt so special! Our service was so good. And the food was awesome. Both my teens ordered the prime rib which was thick and cooked perfectly and included the cookie dessert. I ordered the ribeye and it was the best I ever had. There was a light glaze on it that was so tasty and the meat was not chewy at all. And the potions were huge! A bit pricey though... $140 for 4… ouch! But we had a wonderful meal and will definitely return.
More kindness from service attendants when leaving the restaurant wiuld have been great.
We went online and stated we were celebrating a birthday. We had to remind them 2x of this. I ordered the Prime Rib and 60% of it was inedible. I couldn't even cut it with a knife no matter how hard I tried. My husband and son ordered the same, and theirs was a little easier to cut, but at medium rare, it was difficult, and they were chewy. Prime Rib shouldn't be a challenge to eat for any age. It took a long time for our drinks to be refilled, and we received our soup, salad and dinner all at the same time. ?????? Which means we were forced to eat the soup first (or we'd be eating cold soup), then salad, and our dinner was COLD by the time we got to it. I mentioned to the waitress I wanted to speak to the manager about the meal, and when she gave me the check, she STILL HADN'T told the manager. Another waitress had to. No one wants to eat their dinner that way. Overall, we regretted coming here and do not feel that it is ever worth going back. We had a great experience at the location at the Block and we were hoping for the same. We were sorely disappointed. Although they removed the cost of the one Prime Rib meal, we felt truly robbed and had to go and eat elsewhere, which was a waste of alot of money.. Train your staff better. The food should never come all at once. And if a customer asks for a manager, get one asap..not way later when the client has time to sit there and get very angry.
We waited 40 min to get seated with reservations! Our food came before the salads, didn’t get refills and the poozukie was not cooked. The manager comped the salads and poozukie but not our best experience
Got their, it took them 15 to bring our drinks out and they didn’t even have our silverware for us. Had to ask a completely different waitress to bring us some, watched her and our waitress walk past us two times each. Asked a third waitress in hopes of actually giving us our silverware, and finally the second one came and made the third waitress confused when she came by at a reasonable time with our silverware. Food gotten a little cold having to wait, horrible experience at this location.

This was my first time going to this resturant. Good environment and the people were nice. A lot of variety of food, my waitress was great, very attentive and a wonderful smile.
The food was great unfortunately we kept getting mixed up for a large party next to us it was 15 minutes before anyone offered us water when we first sat down and our food took forever to come out. My husband's food I'm starting to get cold by the time we got to us but other than that it was good food.
Food was great but even though I made a reservation we still had the wait 30 min to be seated.
