BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Cedar Park
Game day viewing of football game. Waitress was not “into” her job- looked like she might have a lot of tables due to being in the bar area and people wanting to be close to TVs. Only saw her working entire bar tables seating area. She took my pork chop back to have it cooked longer - appreciated that help. Food was just okay this visit- I usually enjoy it more. Bland and not hot until hot recooked pork chop came back. Vegetables were never hot. I know it’s hard to get food to the table hot- May have not had enough employees working correct areas. Beer is a little high priced but I guess I should have expected that since I’ve been there several times. If this was my first experience I probably would not go back.
Excellent service. Food was good - great selection. I will probably try pizza or burger next time. The food came out fast and did I say, the service was excellent?
Both of our entrees were warm, at best. My chicken Alfredo was like water...more like a watered down soup. We had to ask our server to help us correct our drink order multiple times. This was probably one of my worst visits ever.
It was a graduation celebration dinner for our son who had just graduated from Round Rock High School. Our reservation was at 5:00 pm but graduation finished earlier than expected, so we called BJ’s to see if we could arrive sooner. They told us to go ahead and come in, and they would do everything they could to seat us earlier. We got there at 4:15 and they had us at our table within 10 minutes. Our server was amazing and made the time there very special. It was a great day that was capped off with a fun dinner at BJ’s.
Final Four game
Service was a little slow. Menu choices are excellent and prices not too bad. Online reservations are a plus. A little annoying that there is no bread or rolls with an entree. What's up with that? Very noisy and difficult to have a dinner conversation. Slightly above average rating because of the menu.
The food took a little while to come out but it was a busy time of the day.
My sandwich and fries were delicious and the happy hour beer specials were great, but the service was horrible. I never got my salad and because my server was so inattentive, I had to ask her to remove it from my check. I also had to wait quite a while for her to stop by my table so I could ask for ketchup (my french fries were half gone when I finally got it) and a second beer.
We went at 7:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve. The place was busy, which we expected for NYE. But they were obviously under-staffed. After waiting 15 minutes to be seated (we had reservations but still had to wait), it took about 15 minutes to get our drinks, and about 30 minutes to get our food. My husband ordered a steak . He said it was cold, like it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while before being delivered to our table. Everyone else's food order was good. I just don't understand why managers don't staff up during a holiday. The poor service will keep me away from BJs for now.
One of the few restaurants in Cedar Park with reservations, but a little noisier than I might prefer. Food is good, but waiters seem to be covering too many tables to provide service as attentive as I would prefer.
