BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Brentwood
Had dinner with my daughter because we were both working in same town.
Overall ok but the meal was a small portion with not much taste for $18. It was a spicy noodle dish. Service was very good though. Not sure if I would return.
While we like going to BJs, sometimes the food service is lacking in efficiency.
i.e.: Entree gets brought out first and appetizer shows up after we’ve finished eating the entree.
: Entree is served but side salad is brought to table long after entree is brought to table.
That said, the food is very enjoyable and wait staff very kind.
Open Table reservations did not count with Bj’s. We arrived at our designated time with Open Table and we had to wait the same amount of time as if we walked off the street. The staff said they only honor Bj’s reservation, not Open Table. Booking through Open Table was a waste of time. I wish we had known because we had 2 parties of people that had to wait around.
Do not use Open Table to book a “reservation” at this restaurant. We were told it was not a reservation but it put us at te top off the walk in list. We still waited 45 minutes for a table.
Had an early dinner. Was seated immediately. Service was outstanding. Food was plentiful and delicious.
This was my daughters 18th birthday party dinner. I made reservation and that was only thing that went right all night. We had extra guest that surprised her but our waiter did not offer to seat us at bigger table or at least give us extra chair so we crammed 6 adults and 1 child into booth. Then it took 1 1/2 hrs to get our food which was cold. One of our invited guest refused to eat cold food and asked waiter to return item. The remainder of guest ate some of the cold food and we left ASAP. I ate my food at home after I was able to warm it up. I have had a great experience at Concord location so I did not expect issues. Sorry to say I will not patronize your location again.
Reservations worked perfectly and the Tri-tip and ribs were, right on!
Huge variety of food - there is something there for everyone.
Worst meal I've ever had at BJ's. Cheese curds way overcooked. Deep dish pizza inedible. Crust was not cooked at all. The crust was just a white doughy mess! You could squash it into a ball. Even the bottom of the crust was just white dough. The salad and drinks were fine. Waiter vert good.
The beer taster was fun to sample, the brussels sprouts are a must try and the monkey bread pizookie was so good!
Too noisy. Need more booths with sound barrier of some type. Extremely hard to have a conversation with the noise level.
The food and cocktails are overpriced. It’s a good place to go for a special occasion but is too pricey for family dining.
Great restaurant with great food but always a long wait to get seated. Used Open Table to create a reservation but still waited half hour after that to be seated. I know it's a busy place but there's no point in reserving if you still have to wait.
We had an appetizer player and it was cold and not fresh. No vegan choices for my son, not a place I will return to.
We had a great time and I was so glad I could be put on the call ahead list in addition to making a reservation on open table. We had a lovely time together and the noise was not too loud but it was 11:30 in the morning. We especially enjoyed the chicken with vegetables over zucchini zoodles. What a great healthy surprise. We do enjoy the variety of menu items at BJ’s and will be back again soon. Thank you.
service was very slow for not being very crowded & they forgot to bring the birthday pazookie for my mother-in-law & when we got our check she disappeared for 10+ minutes.
The service was on point, the frequency of checking in on table was perfect throughout the night. Great job accommodating the size of our party as well.
The food wasn’t as it looked in their menu I had the philly mini burger it was dry and not appetizing I was very unhappy with the quality. The manager handled it poorly I say because he didn’t even ask what else he can do and not offering us for the inconvenience.
