BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Bowie
They were very accommodating when the number in our party changed last minute. Food was great and portions were plentiful. It was quite noisy but we knew that before we went. Prices were reasonable.
The server was attentive, and the calamari was good. I ordered the Crispy Jalapeno Burger which looked and tasted great, but was a bit messy. I didn't know it came with special sauce AND mayonnaise, so that made it extra slippery and hard to hold on to, and I ended up eating it with a fork. Also, the server charged us for a drink that was not provided, but was expedient about correcting the error. Overall, a good experience and I will dine here again.
Wonderful Veteran’s Day celebration!
I place was comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The ribs and chicken were somewhat tasty but not hot enough. The table was united on the service in that the waiter was slow in providing the required services – he was bit slow on the refills and the clean-up on an accidental spill. Service was friendly and the food was affordable.
Our waiter Chris was amazing. He was very accommodating for the restaurant to be very busy. Food was good with a great atmosphere.
Great place for our family dinner (7yr old and 4 yr old)!!
My husband loves the ribs. I enjoyed myself my dish as well.
Family enjoyed their food.
Service was absolutely horrible. My husband didn’t get his food til 30 minutes after we had already eaten and drinks took almost 45. Food was great but service has much to be desired.
Our meals had excellent flavor and we're very good!
Dominique & Andre were outstanding. Dominique is an exceptional representation of your establishment. This was the best service I’ve ever received at this location. Because of her I will return.
Food was ok, but the service was really slow. We waited 22 minutes for our waitress to come to our table, my kids enjoyed timing it.
Great waiter! Good happy hour prices and selection.
Great food and service!
The food was cold and unappetizing. Very disappointed
Great service, enjoyable food !
The food came it piece meal, one meal was ice cold. The kitchen was not operating on all cylidners.
Best server EVER!! REGINA M. was AMAZING!!! Thank you😊
We had to wait a long time for our food. While we were eating servers repeatedly came asking if food was ours because they weren’t sure of where the orders went. I was just very disappointed. We tried the restaurant again after the last time when the power went out. I do not believe I will eat there again
Was only able to order appetizers. The power went out. Was pretty disappointed. We were meeting family there and had to leave and go find somewhere else to eat.
Food was great and server was very personable!
The appetizer came at the same time as the entre. The server was pleasant but seemed to have to run to other tables. We had dishes from appetizer and drinks that piled up on the table. The amount of broccoli on the plate was vastly different from my counterpart. The baked potato that I asked to be fully loaded was not pleasing. (It looked like a white sauce than sour cream and cheese.
The food was fine. Our service was very nice, but soooo slow. We waited forever to order, then to get our drinks, then half the food came eventually, and we had to ask for the rest. Even the process of getting our bill took forever. It’s too bad, because the place has potential. This was our third time with bad service. We won’t be back.
Our waiter did a phenomenal job with everyone's order
Service was slow!
I enjoy the food, service and atmosphere. I still need to come during happy hour and enjoy the bar scene.
Great food and service.
Food was ok would have been better if the pork chop was available.
Service was slow and it took us a long tine for us to. order
Wait staff need to be more attentive. Cheese steak was not up to par. Had to send back for a chicken sandwich.
We had asked for separate checks at the start of the meal. The first and second checks were incorrect. The appetizers for two at our table with the main course. The food and beer was were very good.
Love the food. Fresh and good portions.
This location has been better — like when they first opened. The level of attention to detail to their own menu would serve them well. A customer doesn’t want to have to point out that their salad was made incorrectly. The ingredients are in the menu, even down to the type of greens required and for it to be missing what makes the salad desirable is not appreciated. No one wants to send food back for obvious reasons. Yes, this is casual dining but the level of accuracy and customer service should never decrease. They have been better, they need to get back to that.
The food service was Poor...the waitress did her best to accommodate us. Our food was intially recieved cold. It was sent back, Some of the food came out cold. One of the orders cane back with just hot toppings and the food was still cold. This is my third time at the Bowie location and each time I have received the same results, Poor food service. I reluctantly want to send my food back to the kitchen because of lack of trust.
BJ's has an interesting menu with enough variety to please almost any group of diners. The service is attentive but not "smothering" and the food is delicious and attractively presented. Great choice for an office lunch or time out with friends.
My waiter was not friendly. I believe that being friendly and courteous to Customers will be how the waiter will be tipped. I had a young man. My first time there. The food was great. Thank you for having us.
The server and the bartender were outstanding, but the host was rude "Fred". No only to us but also to one of the other customers that was waiting to be seat. I would have left due to my interaction with him, but this was a memorial dinner and I didn't want to upset everyone else.
The server was outstanding, this was her second day on the job. She was Johnny on the unfortunately I don't remember her name. Your host is the face of the business, I don't know if he was new, but I am going to stick with the B.J's in Laurel. We are always greeted and treated well there.
It was good.
We just wanted to try something new. And, that was a good choice.
Horrible wait time...30 plus minutes after reservation. The waiter was polite but overworked, he had too many tables. Food was wanting in quantity and quality. Could have been tastier.
