Bizzi's Bistro and Wine Bar
Visit Bizzi’s for a hard-to-find glass of wine, a cheese plate to share, or a beef wellington. Some of our most popular dishes are our lamb, beef wellington, meatloaf and filet mignon, but we do run dinner specials every night. We make everything by hand, with love. Come in for lunch, dinner, a cocktail, a bottle, or just have a glass of wine and relax.
In addition to our regular service, we do everything from 7-course wine-pairing dinners to educational classes. Every Thursday is a wine tasting, we change the menu seasonally and we even do the occasional cocktail flight. Anything to keep it fresh.
We can also be rented out for special events - - Bridal Showers, Business Meetings, Corporate Holiday Parties, Anniversaries, etc.

Always a special place to meet friends. Quiet so you can converse. Food is spectacular. Wine steward really knows his wines.
We first tried Bizzi's several years ago because they offer Beef Wellington in the winter months. We enjoy the family atmosphere, conversation friendly noise level, and excellent cooking! This time, we were disappointed to find that the size of the beef portion has seriously diminished and there are no wines available below $30 per bottle/$10 per glass. While we were there for a special occasion, we did not expect to spend $200 for a dinner for two - with very little food leftover to enjoy later. Bizzi's is still an enjoyable dining place but we'll be going there less often in the future...
We eat out a lot - and this was one of the best meals in a very long time - very well done, Bizzi’s!
Hidden Gem! My husband and I love this place. The food is excellent and great quality. It is family owned and operated. We have also been impressed by their knowledge of more budget friendly wines.
The menu Selections have been reduced a lot! But bring back a better selection of entrees.
Great service and people
Wonderful as always!
The food was not as good as it was the last time we were here. Super disappointed as this was our Anniversary dinner. I had the steak Gorgonzola pasta and the steak was very tough. My husband’s sea bass was very fishy. We really expected much better for a $200 dinner.
Outstanding. A total gem. P
Looking forward to returning. Great family owned restaurant. Neighborhood gem! The chocolate Creme Brulee is fabulous!
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The food was amazing. The service was outstanding. We can’t wait to go back.
Nice relaxing dinner with wine. Excellent service with our waitress pacing our evening to allow us to have leisurely enjoy our wine and appetizers before ordering our dinner. We ordered the special which was surf and turf (filet with ship and lobster in truffle sauce). It was a special date night experience.
Amazing. Really love this place and the staff.
A local gem! Excellent food and service in an enjoyable atmosphere conducive to intimate conversation with fellow diners. Extensive wine list, just wish was less pricey.
Bizzi’s was a welcome, family owned, find in the area seemingly overrun by chain restaurants. We had the meatloaf and venison tenderloin for entrees and both were well prepared and quite tasty. The interior is pretty dark and spartan, but the staff is warm, cheerful and attentive. The wine list was also surprisingly broad and well priced for this area. We will definitely return.
WONDERFUL FOOD AND A VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE WINE PRESENTATION.
Referred by a friend and so glad I was! Don’t be fooled by the incredibly unassuming exterior of the restaurant! What’s in store for you once you enter is a fantastic culinary experience. A full service bar, surprisingly robust wine list (with a great selection by the glass), creative appetizers and flavorful entrees that rival far larger and more established restaurants. Everything was perfect. Bacon wrapped shrimp and ahi tuna nachos is where we began and it just got better from there. The portion sizes were ample but not too large. The flavors were excellent. Presentation was thoughtful and service was attentive and extremely friendly. For our main courses, we had the Chilean sea bass and chicken fried angus, and they were big hits but the rack of lamb was out of this world! I cannot express to you enough how amazing every dish tasted. And just as with the opening, everything was perfect. Now on to the peach cobbler. Oh my goodness!!! Just get it. I don’t care how full you are at this point, just get it!
I could go on and on about this place but the next best thing to happen would be for you to give it a try. I can assure you, you will be beyond happy that you did.
Best restaurant in the midcities hands down.
We love this neighborhood gem. The service is always friendly and the food is dependably good.
Our favorite appetizer is the Ahi Tuna Nachos -- what an amazing combination of crispy, creamy and savory with just the right amount of spice. Salads with added chicken, tuna or salmon are a real value. entree's are a combination of great home cooking and more adventuresome cuisine. The in-depth wine list has something for everyone.
Food was outstanding! Wine list is extensive! The service was great! Would highly recommend
Such a quaint, intimate dining experience with very knowledgeable staff. Our party of 7 had a fun night celebrating and the cocktails, wine, appetizers, entrees and desserts were all outstanding. This is one of our favorite spots and it never disappoints. Such a gem of a place!
Terrific cozy gem in the Mid Cities, outstanding service and menu, incredible wine list
Great place to celebrate our 55th anniversary. Will defiantly go back.
Everything was wonderful.
Great food and staff. It was nice for the owner to come over and welcome us!
The food was very good. The service was personal and attentive, but not overbearing. It was a very pleasant evening for us!
Great food! Great service! Very nice ambiance! The perfect place for a nice romantic dinner.
The perfect place to have a really good dinner with excellent wine with close friends where you can actually enjoy a conversation.
One of the best prepared and delicious pieces of seabass that I have ever been served. My husband had the lamb and was very pleased. The food and service were impeccable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Disappointed in main course food: paella special. Serving was small with too much rice and minimal meats and seafood, and was severely overpriced at $40 compared to standard menu items. We have eaten there before with satisfactory results, but this experience sours me on recommending to others.
Wine selection is great. Mom and pop vibe is very charming. The recipes are great. The location is the most fascinating thing - you'd never guess such a great restaurant is right there!
My wife and I second visit. Really like this place. Food and cocktails are excellent.
Great staff. The food was excellent.
Neighborhood gem. Not our neighborhood - so of course we were not known like most people that were enjoying a meal. Regardless, a spirited group effort to serve us by a friendly staff was put forth. Spot on cocktails (somewhat rare in my opinion) and of course a wonderful wine selection. Brie appetizer and salads were nice - fine dinning portions. I had the veal and my wife enjoyed the crab crusted salmon. Entrée portions were large. Very nice Nutella cheesecake for dessert. Our six year old daughter slept through a tremendous meal. Thanks to all that were very kind to her. We will return.
It would have been a perfect score but the lady seated next to us was so loud when she talked (and she talked a lot) that I could not wait to leave. She literally ruined what started out perfectly.
The food was GREAT. The charcuterie plate was excellent and a great value. Main dishes were creative and the food plentiful. The waitress was attentive and helpful in dish description.
We've been before and will go again.
We had a family birthday celebration here on Saturday night. Everything was great! The staff was attentive but not overly so. They were very helpful in suggesting which wines to order. We ordered a bottle each of red and white, which were both excellent. Three in our party had the nightly special, a rosemary tenderloin, and all said it was excellent. The rest of us had a variety - beef wellington, jumbo fried shrimp and veal escalope. All were also excellent. Our appetizer flatbread was slightly overdone, but still tasty. Highly recommend this quaint neighborhood spot and we were very excited to find a great place so close to home.
Excellent service and the food was delicious
I wasn't able to mark the rating lower than moderate for noise level. Bizzy's was quiet enough that I could easily have a conversation. Outstanding food and service. Varied menu with seafood, beef, pork and chicken.
Waitstaff was a little inexperienced for a highly taunted venue. We had not been there before and felt rushed in making our menu selections. Menu could have more detailed description of choices. Kitchen took 45 minutes to serve our meal. Wine list was impressive. Stuffed pork was excellent even though it was a fried chop. Was expecting pork tenderloin. We may give it another try later during the holidays.
Relaxed atmosphere with great food and service. A wonderful place to have a nice dinner and an evening of quiet conversation. We always end up coming for and early dinner and staying until closing time. Our favorite restaurant for special evenings with special people.
