This is such a romantic and charming restaurant. The menu was very different and everything taste delicious. Food portions could be a little bigger but still yummy. Service and staff was so nice and nice looking. Will be back

The ambiance and the food was excellent. We did the restaurant week menu and cocktails and everything was delicious. The playlist they had on was also amazing and created such a good vibe in the restaurant.

Food made all 4 of us Sick. Server overcharged us and when I politely inquired about the bill being incorrect she blamed us for the oversight. A child of a employee was riding his scooter through the restaurant bar area and really killed the vibe. Music playing was the best part of the experience.

Super yummy drinks! Rib sliders were yummy, might have needed more meat. Coconut shrimp were good. Cod with salsa and black rice was amazing.

One of my neighborhood favorites! I come here at least once a week. Great drinks good food good vibes. My only complaint is how hot it is inside! Not sure if they are running the AC but I’ve been struggling the past couple of times with the heat

We were looking for a quiet space. We ordered a variety of small and medium plates. The only thing that none of us liked is the five spice ribs. Everything else was delicious. I did get pretty loud when the live music started. Thankfully, we were pretty much finished.

It was a perfect evening to eat outdoors in this vibrant neighborhood. The service was wonderful, the food was creative, the prices were reasonable. The spare ribs are nothing special and not worth ordering. Everything else was delicious.

I came here for brunch. All was well. We sat outside. The Lychee Martinis are really good. The only problem I had was with the check. We were a party of two and they charged us gratuity, 20% gratuity charge. It probably would’ve been fine if it were somewhere on the menu but no. Go enjoy a lychee martini, but that’s it!

Great neighborhood spot. Tasty food and good drinks - all day happy hour Monday and Tuesday is great value too! Love the back patio/garden area for a more chill vibe, or you can sit indoors with the darker booths for a more intimate date night.

I enjoy eating at this restaurant. Atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. I had a good late Sunday night dinner with a friend from out of town. The food is exquisite and the drinks 🍹 are spot on

If all you order is one thing, the yam Tempura alone is worth it. Ribs, sliders, and spring rolls are not to be missed. And, of course, the cocktail is without peer.

Beautiful locale..May not look it from the entrance but once in its beautifully decorated. It feels like you entered a whole different place...the food was delicious..much to my surprise I learned that the owners also own Lido(no wonder the food is divine)..great service...will definitely go again

Great staff! Good food. Happy hour menu was affordable and delicious. Will definitely be going back. Only note: it is not a good place to hold a business meeting as the music is played a bit too loud for easy conversation. Overall a good bet!

I went to this place for the first time last night. Overall I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very cute, I would definitely recommend for a date or dinner with friends. Service was good also. The appetizers we had were pork potstickers, spring rolls and the beef sliders. All very good and shareable. I took off a star for the medium plates. My friend had the steak and didn't enjoy it much and for the price it was a bit pricey given only steak and green beans were included. I got the lamb ribs and was very disappointed. While flavor was good my lamb was like 75% fat which I hate. I would give this place another go but would definitely not have the lamb ribs again.

Food was just ok. Service was lacking -had to ask for things 2-3x before they were brought to our table. Mimosas are premixed and weak-also the mango purée was old and did a humber on my stomach. Good music and vibe. Decor is cute. The food and service could improve to meet the prices.

A nice quaint place, with friendly service and great music. The Mango Mimosas need mango juice, not mango drink. They don't take advantage of their pork belly, they should have a scramble which includes it -- no one else even offers pork belling for brunch. They should have more cheese options. Their fried rice, for the price, should feel more like a meal -- it was plated like a side. The French toast was average and perhaps a bit under-saturated with the egg/milk batter. They make a great soft scramble, but I asked for bacon to be incorporated into the egg, but it was on top of the egg and less bacon then if I got a side serving of it. Not sure I would do the brunch again, but am curious about the dinner menu. Service was so good, that I do recommend the place.

2nd visit in the small quieter back dining room. This time with two friends in the restaurant business. They agree that BIXI is a strong happy addition to dining on Frederick Douglas Boulevard. The five of us liked all the dishes. Two of us are ordering delivery for tonight for more cod with black rice and lightly spiced ribs with grilled pineapple and mango salad. Crunchy chicken wings remain a favorite. Tried the very popular bar drinks for the first time. The praise is well deserved. BIXI is a high spirited fun place with very good food and drinks.

The ambiance and positioning within the space was on-point. The drinks were amazing! The food was really good - a solid choice. The standouts on the happy hour menu were the Sliders and the Banh-Mi half sandwich. The others were good choices but didn’t hold a candle to the other two items listed above. Overall, great experience. Service was great! Staff were kind. Great time.

First time at BIXI. Have been to sister restaurant LIDO a few doors north scores of times since it opened a decade ago. Entirely different menus and atmosphere. Both are fine restaurants with creative cooks, helpful friendly staff, and appealing dining rooms. BIXI’s small quiet softly lit red room attracts patrons in their 20s to 40s. We were the oldest by about 40 years. We liked the Caribbean influenced Asian cuisine. The chicken wings are deliciously unique. Plan to have every time we eat at BIXI. Have also had in a delivery order. The cold noodles also are one of a kind. The cod with black rice was highly satisfying. Liked the crispy crust on ginger pineapple upside down cake. Moderately priced bottles of wine. Just as we like sampling new dishes at LIDO, so we look forward to trying new creations at BIXI.
