Bixi is a cute little restaurant with good ambiance and decor. We came a bit early before they opened at 5:00, so the place was empty, but the hostess accommodated us right away. The front room had a very overwhelming smell of incense, which I do not like when I am eating. We were seated in the back room, where the smell was better. The menu is very small with limited choices. The appetizers, short rib wonton, coconut shrimp, and shrimp bao buns were tasty. However, the coconut shrimp had three little shrimp on the plate with sauce and nothing else. For $10.00, it should have been a bit more or presented better as pictured on the menu, on top of rice. The main courses, fried rice with chicken and spicy udon noodles, lacked flavor. We were offered soy sauce, but it was just average. The service was very good, quick, and our server was delightful. Disappointed in the food overall.

More of a lounge experience than a dining experience. Very dim/mood lighting and limited menu. Seating not comfortable for all - backless chairs/ low seating; seating similar to foot rests. Menu more suited for snacks/bites, not entrees. Wings were tasty. Short rib taco and shrimp taco flavorless. Short rib taco had more fat pieces and was also tasteless. Drinks read well on menu, lack in execution. Staff wonderful and accommodating. There are also well versed/knowledgeable about menu. Might be a great location for a private event (work closely on menu!). Noise level can increase as night goes on.
