At Bivio our passion is authentic Neapolitan pizza.
Napoli... our love of the city, its cuisine, and in particular, its pizza is where our story began. We heard time and time again “It’s all about the dough.” True to Neapolitan tradition, and the passion of the pizzaioli, we construct our pizza using “00” flour from Naples, San Marzano DOP tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil, fior di latte or bufala mozzarella, and sea salt. Our dough is gently mixed using a 28 year old “lieveto madre” (natural yeast culture) then with intense heat is baked in our wood burning il forno. At Bivio all of our dishes are made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients.

The best Neapolitan pizza in Jersey. The dough is so light and uses the freshest ingredients. Great salad and desserts! Owner and staff always makes you feel welcome!

Who travels 30 minutes to eat pizza? I do! And I would travel even further to eat this pizza. From the wedge salad, the Margherita pizza and the special of the day, which was a lemon deliciousness, everything was amazing! The pizza crust was outstanding. Every ingredient was fresh and perfectly put together. We ended our evening with a warm panettone fresh cream and berries which was outstanding. This is my second time there and we will be back no doubt about it!

Having just returned from a trip to Napoli, my experience is that Bivio is as good as the best pizza in that hallowed place. And so much easier to get to! Bivio's crust is perfection, thin and crispy on the bottom, the edges crispy on the outside and perfectly airy and tender on the inside. A great selection of white and red pizzas are offered as well as delicious starters. The place is small, nicely decorated and perfectly clean. It can be difficult to get a reservation, but persistence is amply rewarded once you have succeeded.

I almost don't want to write this because it already can be a tough reservation at times but I also don't want to gatekeep because they deserve all the success they achieve. I think this is the best pizza in NJ (which means among the best pizza in the country). Beyond that, the restaurant has a great vibe and the service is friendly and excellent. It's a must visit.
