At Bivio our passion is authentic Neapolitan pizza.
Napoli... our love of the city, its cuisine, and in particular, its pizza is where our story began. We heard time and time again “It’s all about the dough.” True to Neapolitan tradition, and the passion of the pizzaioli, we construct our pizza using “00” flour from Naples, San Marzano DOP tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil, fior di latte or bufala mozzarella, and sea salt. Our dough is gently mixed using a 28 year old “lieveto madre” (natural yeast culture) then with intense heat is baked in our wood burning il forno. At Bivio all of our dishes are made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients.

    I almost don't want to write this because it already can be a tough reservation at times but I also don't want to gatekeep because they deserve all the success they achieve. I think this is the best pizza in NJ (which means among the best pizza in the country). Beyond that, the restaurant has a great vibe and the service is friendly and excellent. It's a must visit.

    Friendly staff...pizza was wonderful with a dark puffy crust. Loved it all.

    Just a wonderful place to bring a bottle of wine and enjoy some of the best pizza, salads and appys anywhere. Lovely people. Such a nabe feel!

    Wow! This restaurant was amazing. We had a fennel citrus salad that was seasoned perfectly, broccoli rabe and artichokes and then two pies. We sat at the counter and everything about the evening was perfect.

    Off the main drag of Bloomfield ave but probably the best in town. Fresh pizza made to order, fresh salads and great antipasto. If you’re lucky enough, sit at the bar to watch the guys make the pizzas

    Bivo is a small pizzeria that specializes in Neapolitan pizza. The pizza's coming out of the authentic neapolitan pizza oven were absolutely delicious. The appetizer's we had (the Sicilian fennel salad and the charred red peppers) were incredible and the chocolate mousse dessert fantastic! It has counter seating if you want to watch the chef in action. It's bring your own. You will feel you stepped away and when to Italy for a bit. Enjoy!

    Another great night of dining at Bivio. We ordered the soppressata and funghi pizzas with fennel salad to start, and the food was exceptional. Our waitress was friendly, we were not rushed and start to finish the experience was fantastic.
