Simply put, we're a casual neighborhood restaurant serving up elevated and authentic Mexican fare in a family-style setting. In Mexico, meals are a time for sharing good conversation over even better food. We like that philosophy, so we decided to bring it to Rochester and complement it with a mezcal-based cocktail list. Yes, we have other spirits and classic cocktails, but we want to celebrate and share mezcal—Mexico's indigenous spirit made from agave and a cousin of tequila—with Rochester and beyond.

The food and the drinks were very good, but the service was horrible. I probably would not go back for a while because nobody wants to go somewhere where the service was bad. Our appetizer and our main courses all came at once, our waiter forgot two of our extra dishes that we ordered. Luckily he must’ve known he forgot them because he didn’t put them on the bill so we didn’t have to fight over that.

Music a bit loud, but they did turn it down a bit for a little while, then it went back up. Food was excellent, well seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Craft cocktails were amazing. Bartenders top notch. Music at bar area is a bit louder than average. Bar area is darker than average. We sat in dining area at the busiest time so we waited a bit. Food was fabulous.
