the jazz band was excellent; Ivan, the bartender, was great; my half-bottle of red wine hit the spot; the food was ...
Great food and service! Love the team at Bistrot Lepic!
LEPIC has been our favorite French restaurant for years and in general a place we will not miss when back in DC. The food is authentic ( and always delicious) and is equalled by the always attentive service. Out of five stars I give it 6!
So happy to be back! Now just waiting for Ted to return 🍸
Service, entrees, salads, appetizer were all outstanding. Our waitress was exceptional, knew the menu items and was attentive but not over-bearing. Wine list offer abundant selections and won't break the bank. Truly the most authentic restaurant serving French cuisine in Washington DC.
Evening marred by difficulty accessing restrooms— cannot understand how restaurant can operate without accessible facilities. If restaurant unwilling to provide ADA compliant accommodations then Customers need to be warned in advance
Always a pleasure: Top-notch French food with a low-key neighborhood restaurant vibe.
Great menu, food perfectly prepared. Friendly attentive service. We ate outdoors on a beautiful summer night in their tented area in front of the restaurant - reminiscent of bistro meals in Paris. Love this place!
best French restaurant in Dc with cheap lunch menu. service is friendly and owner always come and says hi.
Excellent food and service as usual. Lepic continues to be a favorite of ours....
Amazing service, the food is consistently good, and I always love the vibe here.
One of the ordered wines was bad and they replaced it with another one, no questions asked.
Pure example of why French Cuisine is so famous. The food was wonderful and so were the waiters ( in my case waitress and waiter) that served my table. Very professional, warm and efficient.
The atmosphere was warm and friendly and so was the owner.
I would very strongly recommend Bistrot Lepic. It combines quality and elegance.
Food and service were excellent! Lovely ambiance, nice wine list, and a wide range of food options with all the appetizing specials and regular menu items. Will return soon!
A great restaurant-execution was a bit off this time, but i like that they change their menu to include new dishes
Food was outstanding as was the wine selection. Owner was friendly and the wait staff great. Tiny place, so make reservation. We sat outside on a table along sidewalk. Highly recommended
So glad to be frequent visitors before, during and after COVID! Great food and service!
We have moved away from Washington DC but every time we are back in town Bistrot LePic is a must have meal! Great food, great service, great atmosphere.
Always a pleasure.
Food delicious and always charming atmosphere. Too few French restaurants.
Bistro Lepic continues a quarter-century tradition of very good French cooking in Glover Park. The first welcome touch was the excellent complimentary French bread. The menu is extensive, including such classics as veal kidneys, which my companion highly praised. The veal chop with morels was excellent as well, and cooked to my specification. One problem in the kitchen that we have noticed off and on in the past is a tendency to apply the salt shaker a bit too heavily--last night both of our entrees suffered, but we still finished every bite. Well-chosen if expensive wine list, focusing on France. Service was attentive.
We live nearby Bistro Lepic and always enjoy dining there. Last evening it was beautiful weather and they held an outdoor table for it; very delightful.
Lovely meal outdoors. Exceptional bread! We ceaned our plates on every course.
Cozy restaurant with a nice French menu. Service was friendly and efficient. Wine list is good.
Great way to spend Mother's Day with my mother and sister. the rate and pace of the meal and the ambience were the highlights. Food and service were OK
Food was good (Mother’s Day fixed menu) but tablecloth was filthy dirty, as was the china on the table (there when we arrived). Very happy to utilize the outdoor dining for covid safety reasons, but you would think they would change the tablecloths between seatings, or in our case (first seating of the day) at the start of the day. Truly unacceptable. Service was ok but nothing noteworthy. Overall a rather disappointing experience. Calamari salad was extremely chewy. Soft shell crab was lovely. The dessert (Napoleon) was delicious, but my cappuccino was not worth drinking. Sadly, will not return.
Absolutely amazing. I couldn't have been more happy for enjoyable they made my graduation dinner.
There is no better restaurant in DC to enjoy truly magnificent French food than Bistrot Lepic. Lilly our waitress is top-shelf and makes a fantastic martini. Appetizers, salad, soup and entrée fantastic. Wine list is complete and adequately priced.
We went to Bistrot Lepic on a very windy night when we had an outdoor reservation.
We were able to change to indoors, thanks to helpful maitre d', and able with help from a brawny server to get my husband in his wheelchair up the steps and in the door.
We had come for the rognons, which were very good.
Unfortunately, the service was very slow, and we ended up skipping dessert for that
Lovely spot for classic bistro food. Very reasonably price and the staff is super accommodating.
The experience was not good. We were disappointed in the service, the food, and level of attention. The website says that tables are disinfected between customers and that didn’t happen. The only thing that saved the day was the delicious bread and the service provided by the only waiter that followed up with us. Our waiter forgot we existed. We were so disappointed.
Birthday Dinner, service and food were excellent! We love the restaurant and that it quiet and true to itself!
We brought my parents to Bistrot Lepic on their first visit to DC since the start of COVID, and we had a lovely outdoor meal. The food was delicious (I highly recommend the trout and the calf liver), and the service was excellent as well. The upstairs area looks very charming, and we'll look forward to returning once we start doing indoor dining again.
Fantastic food and nice service!
As always, we loved the intimate setting, even outside on their patio. There is no chichi, but the quality of the food is on point and the wine list is amazing!
We’ll be back soon :-)
A most enjoyable return visit and meal.
We enjoyed our dinner so much. The service was friendly, the food delicious. The mural on the wall of a Rainy Day in Paris - perfect.
Outstanding food and service. And BL has managed to create a wonderful outdoor experience as we continue to be careful in these pandemic times.
Low key classy. The fois de veau was as delicious as at our favorite bistro in Paris
