Lovely evening - enjoyed our meal very much. Attentive staff/
It is a very reliable place. Pleasant environment, relaxed feel, excellent traditional French food, friendly and knowing staff. It's sophisticated without being at all stiff. Plus, it's easy to park across the street on S Street.
Wonderful french food with excellent staff. Tastefully decorated.
We have been here several times for lunch and dinner. This dinner visit was for a goup of relatives who do not see each other very often. The restaurant did not disappoint.
If you love old school classic French this is the place.
We love Lepic. Their menu and daily specials are always a special treat.
Was recommended by a friend whose opinion I trust, and it did not disappoint. Foie Gras was delicious. My kids tried escargot for the first time, and approved. Maigret of Duck and Cassoulet both succulent and delicious. creme brulee was heavenly. ONly the apple beignets were a bit of a letdown.
The staff was great, the food delicious and a great holiday meal with my family
The food is great, the wine bar is charming and the service is lovely. Just don't let them seat you in the back room - especially when there is a large group at the next table. Impossible to talk over the din in that confined space plus there is none of the charm of the main dining rooms.
Best escargots in THE WORLD
Seriously amazing!!! I just returned from a trip from Paris and was craving authentic French cuisine. This restaurant had such a wonderful ambiance. From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a wonderful dining experience. Boy was I right! The service was exceptional, they only had 2 servers for the entire restaurant but they were SO efficient and attentive and better than most other restaurants; quality over quantity!
The bread is fresh baked, cappuccinos were a delight. I had the escargot, which was divine! and the steak and frites, also amazing.
10/10 would recommend!
Excellent food. Intimate French ambience. Perfect and authentic.
Lovely when there is live music also
One of the best French restaurants in DC.
My favorite are escargot and the veal cheeks. Service is great as well. No problem with the parking.
Excellent service, great salmon special, good wines, relaxed ambiance. I’ll be back.
Wonderful food, drink, and ambiance. We will definitely go back. The lamp chops are amazing. As well as fresh baked bread and escargot.
Great Valentine's Day lunch!! Definitely going back.
Everything was great but service was slow.
A fantastic dining experience as always! This place is the best!
Most enjoyable! Fabulous food and excellent service—as is always the case.
Another very good meal at this neighborhood bistro., a place we visit 2-3 times per year. We had the specials, branzino and the charcuterie. Both were fantastic. For a small restaurant there is a very good wine list, with choices in varieties and prices. We splurged for a Bandol at the waiter’s suggestion. This medium body wine went well with the diverse meals. Tables are small and close together, but that is a nitpick given the overall experience.
Felt we were rushed by the server
Always good at Lepic!
My husband and I spent a wonderful evening at Bistrot Lepic & Wine Bar. We were a bit early for our reservation and then kindly invited to a glass of champagne upstairs. Our meals were delicious and reminded me of some of my best dining experiences in France when I was living there. Service was very professional and friendly.
We were extremely pleased with our DC restaurant week pic and will certainly come again!
Wonderful place. Excellent food and service. Always a good place to dine
wonderful food and service we had a lovely evening were provided with a glass of champaign and candle for my boy. Wonderful evening
Good value for Restaurant Week. Many choices available.
It was good
It is a nice, semi-casual dinner night. My family and I enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere at bistrot Lepic.
Great french restaurant with always a good lunch menu at a reasonable price. Service always great with a smile.
Good portion with great taste.
If you like french food a must
I love sitting at the table in the front by the window. Timely service; helpful suggestions, indeed the food is always creative, tasteful and delicious.
Been here often and plan for 1x/MO from now on. Classic French and a warm, welcoming staff. Wonderful!
Lovely meal, delicious food, attentive owner in small, classic French restaurant. Wonderful!
Near perfect. Outstanding service from Lucia. Just the right amount of helpful. Always near, but never hovering. She knew the wine list well and made a great recommendation. The food was exceptional. Best escargot we’ve ever had. Foie gras very good too. Veal cheeks are not to be missed. Tremendous! And the salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our new favorite Georgetown restaurant is Bistro Lepic.
This was Xmas dinner. Everything was great. Food, service, ambience. The menu was carefully designed for this ocassion. I definitely will return while un DC
What a gem! I brought my family here for Christmas brunch and it couldnt have been more impeccable. Delicious, thoughtfully prepared plates, excellent service and a cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful time. We can't wait to come back for the next special meal!
Went for a date night. We ordered a bottle of wine, 2 entries and a dessert, and everything was fantastic. The service was great and the food even better. It's a cozy little place and perfect for date night.
Bistrot Lepic is just around the corner from my house so it is truly my neighborhood restaurant. We eat there fairly often but this visit was a particularly fine one. I had a duck leg conit with sweet potatoes and bok choy - special of the day and it was wonderful. The duck fell off the bone into an don't leave drop of delicious rich sauce. We shared the Ile flottante which is regularly reliable. Hoping that the duck makes it onto the regular menu sometime in the future. A word about the ambiance. The restaurant lives up to its bistrot name. Almost always full but not so full that you can't get a reservation for spur of the moment dinners. And othger people seem to be enjoying their companions, the food and the wine.
In the past I have enjoyed the escargot, but this time it was overwhelmingly garlicky. The lamb chop order came with two small chops. Very paltry serving and temperature was luke warm at best. Friends’ fish dishes (the nightly special) were very tasty.
Was amazing food, service and ambiance. Went with several friends and was a lovely time!
