Great place to go with a couple of friends to celebrate being vaccinated!
Wonderful dining experience once again. Bistro Lepic is our favorite restaurant in DC. During the covid crisis we dine outdoors on their lovely little terrace in front of the restaurant. Very welcoming and romantic place with delicious food and extremely friendly service.
Thank you, Team Lepic!
We love Bistrot Lepic and it never fails to impress. Relaxed, friendly and delicious classics. I put moderate for noisy because we were seated outside which we loved and got to feel the street scene.
A true neighborhood gem -- and surviving the pandemic with flying colors!
Fantastic food, wine, service, and atmosphere. Can’t wait to take my family and friends back here.
Still a good place to eat after all these years. One of the few restos in DC that serve rognons, a French specialty.
Ate outside in 32 degree weather with two space heaters. Very cozy. I do hope outdoor dining will continue!
Food and service were as always outstanding on all counts.
We dined outside because of Covid. The staff could not have been more attentive - bringing g us heat lamps and propane heaters immediately. Our waitress never made us wait and was fully helpful about the menu and wines. I had the quail - which was fantastic. My wife had the halibut - excellent seasoning and very fresh. We quickly forgot we were on Wisconsin Ave and had a delightful Valentine’s Day. Feast. We will be back. Inside was very busy and lively.
Valentine's Dinner was delicious--a real treat topped off with a beautiful red rose. Thank you.
Delicious brunch. Nice selection of French dishes. I just love a French brunch
Bistrot Lepic is NEVER disappointing. The menu is superb and the service is top-of-the-line. Mixed drinks are handcrafted to perfection. Escargot is the best in DC. Salads were crisp with a fantastic house dressing. Entrees, hers the calf liver and mine the cassoulet...seasoned to perfection and cooked and served at the right temperature. Wine list is adventurous and will not break the bank. We shall return!
A perfect night with wonderful service, excellently prepared meals (including a custom salad) plus a cordial visit by the owner. Bistrot Lepic remains our favorite little restaurant after all these years.
Unpretentious French bistro with great food!
Our server, Alina, was outstanding! We were both celebrating our birthdays and we felt very special. Alina was very knowledgeable about the food, the food was very good. We had an amazing time and will definitely come back! Thank you
A friends birthday!! Ladies night out
The best French restaurant in town. We love Bistro Lepic!
We had a lovely time celebrating our daughter's 19th birthday on January Saturday 9th.
It had to be an outdoor dinner because of the pandemic but with a good coat on and their warmers we weren't cold and we really enjoyed the whole experience!
We loved the pan seared foie gras with a Port reduction, it was perfectly made!
Duck Cassoulet was formidable, so was the rainbow trout, and confit de canard!
Very happy! We will go back!
Considering we were seated outside during the winter due to bureaucratic mandate (thanks, global pandemic) the experience was absolutely outstanding. The staff did an excellent job and maintained a high standard, despite the imposed hardships. And everything was delicious, as always!
Not the first visit to Bistro Lepic and it certainly will not be my last!
Food and service are fantastic. One of the few places that makes unquestionably the best, dry Grey Goose martini.
She had the escargot appetizer and the calf liver entre. I had the French onion soup and the cassoulet. We shared a half bottle of Chateauneuf du pape wine...spectacular and espresso to top it all off.
We’ve been here a few time and it never disappoints if you are looking for classic French cuisine, look no further. Also, we need to look for places who offer a gluten free menu because of an allergy and not only is their menu very gluten free friendly, but the staff was very knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back.
Drink, appetizer, soup, entree and dessert were delicious. Also delicious bread and butter and fine service!
Perfect in every way.
It is always a pleasure to dine here. We were able to eat outside due to the warm evening. The service was excellent as usual and the food was delicious!
They had excellent food, service and ambiance-can't wait to have their beef bourguignon again!
Our anniversary! It was great.
Had a fantastic dinner Tuesday night. Love the almond trout!!
Highly recommended m!
The wine, food and service is always excellent and, despite the Covid situation the restaurant has kept that standard. Thank you to all for a most enjoyable evening.
Tried the outdoor/“streatery” for the first time, and it was very charming. Pretty patio with heat lamps, lights and potted greenery.
Beyond expectations! The food was truly delicious, from starter to dessert (and I’m French!).
I have dined outside at Bistrot Lepic three times recently and each experience has been extremely enjoyable. The food and service are impeccable and their wine list is excellent with great value.
Bistro lepic is one of the most reliable and good French restaurant in DC. not too expensive and great service.
we love Bistrot Lepick; the food is fabulous and the service courteous and efficient. They offer an excellent wine list and we simply never had a disappointing meal there.
The service and food were outstanding! My husband and I asked the waitress for her recommendations and they were on point! We had the squash soup, filet entree, and the meringue dessert.
We sat outside in their seating area and had a great night! This is one of our favorite places to eat! 😀
My wife and I went out to dinner for the first time (without kids) since we arrived back in the US approx 8 months ago. I came across this restaurant while searching online. It reminded me of places we had eaten at while we lived in Europe. We had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and engaging, the food was terrific and the wine selection was excellent. We even had a nice discussion with Cyrille, the managing partner of the restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we look forward to returning soon!
We ate in their space in the parking lane in front of the restaurant. It was surprisingly pleasant, even with traffic moving by at 6 pm. Food was wonderful as always.
So glad that this Top of the Line, French restaurant is open to allowable capacity!
From the martinis to the espresso and desserts it was sensational. Our party of four was amazed at the authenticity of the French dishes, presentation and service.
Bistro Lepic is a Washington institution. Sitting outside near the street makes it feel like you are in Paris. The definitely is on the level of France's best restaurants. I highly recommend the Duck Confit.
Bistrot Lepic is a neighborhood favorite of ours. Food is always great and service is responsive and attentive. Cyril Brenac, the owner of Lepic and its sister restaurant, La Picquette in Glover Park, is charming and wonderful. I highly recommend both restaurants for a low-key dinner with family or friends, or a special occasion. They will take good care of you.
My favorite place for a quiet dinner with friends. Food is always so delicious and service friendly but efficient. The outdoor patio was a delightful place to dine. Looking forward to having another delightful evening at Bistrot Lepic soon.
The food, drinks and service were excellent as usual. For many years this restaurant has maintained a high standard.
Our thanks to all.
