My husband and I went just for dessert and drinks, but ended up getting appetizers too. My cocktail was good but way too much ice which made it very diluted. Dessert and appetizers were good. The ambiance was very French like. Next time we will try the dinner options.
Food was superb. Ambiance was lovely. Very authentic French bistro in feel and taste. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a bit of Paris without a flight!
This was my first visit, my partner had been for drinks. We both had a lovely date night. Food was superb, service was top notch and we even had a lovely chat with a couple next to us about their upcoming trip. Such a lovely night out.
Food is always good, service always the best.
Always a pleasure to dine there. It is one of my favorite spots.
Dinner was outstanding. Excellent escargots, trout, salmon and more. Food and wine are consistent. Spectacular bottle of Malbec. Server was pleasant and courteous. Table in corner of back room was perfect. I had asked for a quiet table and got the best one so we were able to converse. Even in the front room, it is still better for conversation than most places, no loud music. I will return and recommend it to others.
Early dinner was great. Prompt service and good beer selection on Tap. Chicken (Poulet) and Rissoto were both excellent. Escargot appetizer was very good.
Everything was amazing!
Dinner was perfect. Foie gras was some of the best in the city (and that I’ve ever had). The rabbit was cooked perfectly and the wine selections were great. Will be back.
Everything was great!
The food was great, one of the best for French in the city. The service was excellent with great attention to detail. Feels very French.
Delicious! Everything was so fresh and good! The food was amazing and the drinks were awesome too.
First time...went for restaurant week. Like the ambience, loud but fun. The food was sooo good...foie gras did not come seared as in the menu but nonetheless delicious, rabbit rich & rustic, desserts yummy. My only critique was our waiter who was a bit impatient & pretentious.
The staff was great and so was the food I would definitely return
My family and I visited Bistrot La Minette, for restaurant week Philadelphia 2019. This restaurant was Beautiful...service, ambiance, food etc., We will return❤️
Everything from the food to the service to the good-byes was phenomenal. Just a lovely experience. Recommended for a true French meal.
Cordelia was a gem and really made our experience complete. The duck was also heavenly
Our Restaurant Week experience confirmed the quality we have come to expect at Bistrot La Minette. All three courses for all three diners were exceptionally tasty and well prepared, with a classic French flavor. We particularly enjoyed the escargots, the saumon cru appetizer, the duck and the gigot d'agneau. Desserts also excellent. Bistrot La Minette has definitely been on our "top 10" list for the past two or three years, and it never disappoints. Service was also excellent.
Nice location. It was hot inside when we first got there. The waiter poured our water and left puddles of water on the table. I asked him to wipe the table. He took my napkin and swished it around in a corner of the table not getting the puddles of water. He seemed to be too distracted. I really didnt want to give him a tip but I did anyway.
Very personable and helpful service. Was able to eat outside on a beautiful night. Food was outstanding. Definitely recommend!
The food was devine! My cocktail was perfect. The service was kind and attentive. We’ll be back.
I had been craving a French meal for a long time but it tends to be expensive. We utilized restaurant week and had a great experience! Food was delicious, service was pretty fast and the overall atmosphere was nice. Escargot were great and the duck is a winner! Get the chocolate mousse with the raspberry puff pastry for a good combination as dessert!
Excellent service and ambiance! The food was amazing and authentic!
We went for Restaurant Week and were pleased with the breadth of the menu offered and it's execution. We've been here a number of times and Bistrot La Minette has seen that everything has gone right, every time.
What a lovely evening, we sat outside on a nice cool night
Service couldn’t have been better, everyone so attentive.
It was restaurant week and the choices were plentiful ,only problem was deciding which dish to order. I had the escargot as an appetizer and could have had more and made it my dinner
It’s a restaurant that never disappoints!
Dined during restaurant week. This was our first time at La Minette, and based on this experience we will return. The restaurant week menu included all their favorites. I chose the pate, the duck, and their famous raspberry pastry. All were delicious.
What a wonderful experience. Wait staff was wonderful an so patient with all of us. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend Bistrot La Minette.
I had the wrong date and they still took us! Oh how grateful for their flexibility on a busy Saturday evening. The food was delicious as always, and our waiter was so lovely. One of our favorite restaurants in Philadelphia. I have dreams about their escargot.
Food was delicious & service was great! We will be back
Very flavorful food. Nice dining experience. Great service. Absolutely zero complaints.
I came to Bistrot La Minette for restaurant week on a date, and not long after arriving it became clear that I had been stood up. Kudos to all of the staff for putting up with me while I tried (and failed) not to cry at the table, and for helping turn a miserable evening into a wonderful one. Kudos to my waitress Jenna, who was wonderful and patient and brought me tissues and words of encouragement throughout the night. And also thanks to another waiter, Colin, who photobombed me while I was taking a teary-eyed selfie and made me laugh for the first time that night.
Despite its inauspicious beginning, I was determined to enjoy myself, and I did. The escargot was some of the best I’ve ever had. The duck confit was utterly amazing (and as I write that, I find myself craving more). Jenna recommended the chocolate mousse terrine for dessert, because it seemed like a chocolate kind of night, and then she also brought me out the raspberry mille-feuille on the house, because it seemed like a two-dessert kind of night (and she was right on both accounts).
My dinner at Bistrot La Minette was absolutely amazing, and the service was even better. I can’t wait to go back.
Had a great time. Waiter was awesome and the meal was fantastic. Will definitely come back in the future!
Bistrot la minette is always a pleasure to eat at. The service is always great as is the food. They are very accommodating of dietary restrictions, and the waiters always recommend what you SHOULD get to meet your dietary restrictions, not just what you can get. Restaurant week allows you to sample a variety of food for a reasonable price. Acoustics could be improved to help with the noise, especially in the main dining area, but overall this is my favorite place to eat in Philadelphia.
Same old menu, one duck leg means one duck leg. Used to be a favorite. We will not be back.
One of the only authentic French restaurants in Philly, Minette offers superb quality (& surprisingly large portions), wonderful service, and excellent won't selection. I highly recommend this place for date night it if you're craving a real French meal.
This was return visit for me, so my expectations were high based on past good experience but my friend was making first visit. She was enchanted by the ambiance and delighted with the meal. She had the rabbit and I had the trout. The service was A+
The food was very good. It felt as though they were pushing us through to get the table open. Too much up selling on the drink specials.
3 courses meal only $35, definitely worth the experience with this kind of price. A beautiful and romantic atmosphere. Perfect place for a date.
We came here for restaurant week and the food was incredible! The ambiance was also wonderful. Warm lighting, packed with people but not too loud. Overall a great experience, I highly recommend!
