Owners Yannis Felix and Michel Verdon opened Bistrot Du Coin's doors in 2000 for patrons to converse and have fun while enjoying their meals. It offers hearty starters such as French onion soup and fresh, crisp salads, steamed mussels and sautéed foie gras. Veal stew in a creamy sauce, braised chicken in white wine and pan-seared salmon topped with a fresh herb sauce are filling main courses to try.

Made reservations for 2. Was seated along the front with street view! The restaurant is the typical older building high ceilings with an upstairs “loft area. Generally poor acoustics. Atmosphere is lively and homey much like a neighborhood restaurant. The food was excellent the table had the bœuf bourguignon and the Ora King salmon. Both superb and tasty paired with a good French Bordeaux wine and a crisp Italian Pinot Greco. Desert was a great experience fresh peach & strawberries in fresh vanilla Ice Cream topped with whipped cream. Ending with after diner/dessert Port. Food and ambience topped by an excellent service staff.

Great menu with plenty of appealing options. I had a cocktail, ravioli dauphine appetizer, steak and fries, and chocolate mousse. My date loved the ravioli with salmon and crème brûlée. I’ve been here before and will return!

Perfect place to eat an elevated casual dinner on a weekday. Busy without being crammed, noisy but could still keep a conversation without feeling the need to yell. The food was good but unpretentious. Great experience all-around!

We were so excited to return to bistro du coin..and their legendary..to us..mussels lived up to our memory ..wonderful. My omelet was good..a bit dry but still great…and the side order of sausages..terrific! Unfortunately, the Belgian way of cooking French fries was not used for the fries that came on the side of my omelet so…only mediocre..too bad.

Classic French —- Belgian brasserie, I like to bring people here after a couple DC visits and they are always like: “why haven’t you brought me here before this” I find the ravioli vegetable as a primi and then move on from there, can’t miss. Order how you like and pair with some monster reds.
