Bistrot Cinq opened its doors on November 16, 2007. It’s the vision of renowned American Chef, Robbin Haas. Inspired by the bistros he visited during his trips to France, Robbin created the atmosphere of a typical “French Bistrot” in the heart of Antigua, Guatemala. The Bistrot is a cozy restaurant, where you can kick back and relax, knowing we’ll do everything we can to take good care of you and help you feel at home. We’re a place full of stories, joy and a lot of life, where the beauty of Antigua, Guatemala is mixed with the inspiring charm of Paris.

Great food!, great wine. I ordered salmon over stew lentils, just great. Te Wege salad was fresh, crsipy, abundant. To finish, I had the Key Lime Pie...the best Key Lime in Guate by far.

Bistrot Cinq is a very special restaurant. The food is amazing, the staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is inviting. The restaurant is great for romantic occasions or group meals and is also a wonderful place to sit at the bar and chat with other patrons or the bartenders, as you watch them expertly make absinthe drinks and other cocktails. The kitchen staff, led by chef extraordinaire Mario Godínez, is creative and skilled. And what other kitchen has a cook named Pescado, as does Bistro Cinq? We are regular customers and love the salads, the appetizers, the mussels, the side dishes, the fish of the day (always fresh!), the burger, smoked chicken, and so much more. There are always daily specials, too. We love the food, the atmosphere, and most of all, the great staff!

We had one of the specials of the day which was a seafood stew made with chiles. The dish was a combination of salmon, clams, mussels, shrimp and langostinos cooked in a very flavorful tomato based sauce with roasted chiles, which was spicy and flavorful but not hot. It was an outstanding dish! We had the chocolate pot de creme which was also very good, if a little dense. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, elegant without being stuffy and is popular with expats and tourists as well as locals.

El servicio pésimo, se tardaron horas y el mesero cero profesional. La carne super mala, los calamares y los mejillones si muy bien. La hamburguesa cero sabor, simple total, mis hijos la dejaron toda, las papas rechinadas.
