The food was cold and 2 people got their food 10 minutes after the rest of us. The only way our server came to our table was when we waved her down.

We attended a Paul Bocuse four course dinner paired with wines. Soup, two entrees (fish and veal) and a chocolate mousse dessert with vanilla ice cream were outstanding. This is one of the best meals I've had in years. Service was good, but not outstanding. Restaurant was crowded so wait staff seemed a little stressed. (Our second course arrived and we had to ask for the wine pairing.) Our server seemed a bit more interested in the 'regulars' at the restaurant than in us. Noise levels a bit of an issue (my husband uses hearing aids). But Bistronomic is easily among the best French restaurants in Chicago and aside from these minor hiccups this was a wonderful experience and gastronomic treat.

I was glad to return to Bistronomic after a number of years. The food was delicious, the menu was extensive and the service was very good. There were a few new bussers who made a couple of mistakes, but our server was right on top of them to make it right within seconds. It’s a pretty restaurant and we remarked how quiet it was despite being quite full. There’s some nice outdoor seating available, but it was way too hot for anyone to sit there.

The hostess, who is lovely asked if we wanted a quiet area and we were led to this small intimate backroom. It was very cozy! Valentin our wait person was informative, discrete and his timing was perfect. We had the rack of lamb, gazpacho and escargot. French 75"s and fabulous wines picked by Valentin. We are in the neighborhood,so this will be our new favorite spot!

Went there for brunch, which was AMAZING. The food was excellent. the staff was friendly and courteous. it was a busy day so it took a little while at first to get ordered, but once we got going everything was tasty and we felt well cared for. Glad we gave this place a try, will be back for dinner.
