We decided to sit in the outer courtyard since we arrived earlier than our appointed time.
I think it actually worked out better because a quick look at the main dining area
told us (party of 3) that the space looked tight.
The server was very good and very knowledgeable.
As I said earlier, the enclosed courtyard was perfect for our Sunday brunch and easy
After waiting an hour and 20 minutes to get our food, it was the saltiest most unappetizing piece of steak I've ever had (steak fries). My husband ordered a seafood dish and it came out tasting terrible as well. We immediately paid for the wine we had and left. Horrible end to an anniversary dinner. Would tell people to avoid this place at all costs. It certainly isn't representative of actual French food. The French would be offended. The only pleasant note was our waiter.
The ambience is wonderfully romantic the seating feels like you are in a Parisian bistro, you feel the hustle and bustle and the culinary energy from the Kitchen.
The French onion soup was traditional but had complex flavors with a lovely cheesy crouton.
The Venison would have been fitting at a William Wallace Braveheart Burns feast in the Scottish Highlands , succulent and delightful with the unexpected porridge cake which had an oaty divinity
The steak was perfectly cooked and could be cut with a butter knife it was so tender.
The desert Creme brûlée was a glass surface of crisp sugar , underneath a perfectly set creamy indulgence . The Chocolate tourchons were a rich unctuous finale
I half expected a cobbled champs Elysee of the 19 th century as I left , authentic and traditional with a sprinkle of the modern. Certainly a whimsical foodie journey for a Brit who enjoys Joel Robuchon and the classics
Bistro Vendome never disappoints- the staff is always very friendly, the food delicious and the ambiance reminds me of our visit to Paris. Looking forward to spring when the outdoor patio is open again.
My husband and I have brunch here every year for our anniversary and it's become a most cherished tradition. This year we were greeted with a card hand signed by the staff wishing us a happy anniversary. It was such a nice touch. The staff is always super friendly and the food is amazing. Best French cuisine, I order something new each year and I'm never disappointed. Their desserts are especially delicious. The environment is fantastic too, it's very clean and polished, and very romantic. The prices are very reasonable and well worth the experience. Looking forward to our next visit.
Great place with great service and terrific food. Everyone in our group had something different and we shared and enjoyed! Even the cocktails!
Decadent. Absolutely delicious in every way. We went for brunch at 10 am and had the restaurant to ourselves. Great service. Delicious food. We had crepes and eggs benedict with duck confit. Will return
Upscale vibe with reasonable pricing for DELICIOUS French cuisine. Wonderful wine list, as well. Went for Valentine’s Day date with my husband and thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
Bistro Vendome is a lovely little date spot with spectacular cuisine. Highly recommend most items on the menu (most recently the steak tartar, steak and fries, and lamb stew), but book a table well in advance as it can get quite busy most popular nights.
The food was excellent but the portion sizes were quite small for the price.
Venison was overcooked, ordered medium rare and it was medium well. The most flavorful part of the venison plate was the garnish. The scallops were also overcooked. The win was good, but overpriced. Safe to say that I did not find the meal to be anywhere near the over $200, including tip, and I do not anticipate ever returning.
We've enjoyed Bistro Vendome as our must-go restaurant for romantic dates (recently was Valentines dinner). Service is always exceptional and the food is exquisite.
It was amazing!!!!! We will be back. Love food was so good!
Valentines Day dinner. Place was packed but service was extraordinary. Everyone here is super nice and wants you to have a good experience. My only complaint is that the Bouillabaisse was a bit skimpy on the seafood. My husband had the venison and it was to notch. Had the new grapefruit panna cotta and it was memorable. Great evening out!
Bistro Vendome never disappoints. We had an amazing Valentine's Dinner and absolutely loved everything we ordered. We opted to stay at the bar for a few more glasses of wine, which was a lot of fun! We even got to meet Jennifer Jasinski, Executive Chef who could not have been more lovely! We love all of her spots and look forward to dining with her team whenever possible!
Es mi lugar preferido en Denver... su comida es excelente.
We greatly enjoyed our dinner, felt a bit like being transported to Paris without being hokey. Daniel was an outstanding waiter!
Our experience here was wonderful. Staff was extremely friendly and waitress was a gem. She was timely, attentive, knowledgeable and honest. Food was excellent. Cheese appetizer was light and delicious, the sourdough baguette was crunchy and fresh and the chef provided amuse bouche was creamy and tasty. Entrees were both fishes dishes but very fresh, extremely flavorful and light. Excellent balance of flavors and was an absolute delight. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for anothet visit!
We always have a great time and the food is always great.
Delicious brunch, great service
