We use fresh, high quality ingredients prepared with sensitivity and care. Our dishes include French bistro classics, seasonal specialties and daily specials to showcase the creativity of our culinary team.
What pairs better with great food than great wine? Bistro Toulouse offers wines that complement our cuisine. Our focus is on French varietals and traditional styles of production, though we offer wines from all over the globe, including 18-20 selections by the glass. Our seasonal house cocktails include creative beverages made with our own infused liquors and syrups.
The food is always delicious and the service is second to none. We will be back. :-)
One of my very few favorite neighborhood restaurants. Candice and Matt always do an impressive job. This time it was the Shrimp Crepe, EXCELLENT. Also, this was a Mother's Day Brunch and Mom's first visit, she loved it. Love this place!
Mother’s Day, and all Mother’s received a beautiful rose - very nice ending to a great meal! Staff is always so nice and helpful! Food is constantly excellent!
Mother’s Day brunch
I’ve had most of the menu now, but tries the shrimp crepe and was blown away!! Very consistent and always a treat!
Our group was enjoying a cocktail at the bar prior to dinner when the receptionist was attempting to rush us to be seated. This was not good PR .Our group was not happy with this kind of behavior. It resulted in some saying they probably would not return to this restaurant
We had some authentic French food at a Sat. Brunch setting with
attentive service and excellent Bloody Marys and Mimosas
Always enjoy dinner here. Good wine, good food, and good service. Lots of noise from the bar.
Excellent restaurant in every way - ambiance, food, service, etc. Will continue returning as we have many times.
Thank you for an enjoyable Birthday lunch celebration recently. Our crepes were "as French as it gets"--delicious! The green pea soup highlighted seasonal fresh English peas, and our dessert, a chocolate mouse, was beyond words. Intense richness, warm, enough for 3 spoons to dip into.
My 4 stars for service were not because of any mishap. We had allotted 90 minutes for lunch (in order to return to a job, we did not know the mousse took so long to prepare...and were somewhat rushed when it came out.
I know we would all order the very same selections again, but would know to allow more time for Bistro Toulouse's exquisite food. Good food "cannot be rushed" in its special preparation, and French food is renown for freshness and flavor that comes from deliberate, exacting preparation. KM
I am anxious to return and work my way through their menu. The special wine dinner hit all the buttons. The chilled pea soup tasted like spring; the snapper was cooked perfectly and sat on a beautiful artichoke preparation; the lamb was LOCAL from the Columbia, SC area. Might have been the best I ever had. Wine pairings were spot on. Thanks to the chef and staff for a wonderful evening.
Our Easter dinner was scrumptious, and we loved the Easter Egg Cocktail. Yummy! Excellent food, cozy atmosphere, reasonably priced and top service. This was our 3rd visit, and we will be back again!
Their Easter 🐣 brunch offered a broad range of food. The service was very good!
We had Easter brunch here with our 5 year old daughter. The service was spectacular and the food was divine! Can’t wait to visit again!
Carolyn was very good waitress. Attentive to all our needs. Would highly recommend.
We have always had a great meal here and it has been our go to dining out choice for years!
The best wine selection!
Stella is tops!
Our second time at Bistro Toulouse and OUTSTANDING again! From service, to salad to entree, all were simply remarkable. Must come to experience!
After many visits and nearly always ordering the steak & frites I tried the roasted chicken... it was amazing! Save room for dessert...
Despite it being Bridge Run weekend and requesting a reservation for 11, we had a lovely time with old friends, great service and good food. Several of us live nearby and regret having never eaten here before. We will certainly come back.
Classic, hearty but finely-prepared French dishes. Excellent and reasonably priced wine list as well as inventive cocktails and beer selection, including the hard-to-find Kronenbourg 1664 on tap. Friendly, attentive and well-informed wait staff. Comfortable neighborhood bistro ambiance.
Candace, Matt, and the crew always do a great job. One of my favorites in Charleston.
All the dishes were great. Desserts were wonderful. Highly recommended.
We’ve been coming here since it opened. Always delicious and pleasant atmosphere. Always enjoyable!
First time there and we eat all over Charleston. This was awesome!
best meal in Charleston during the last three years .
Soft shell crabs were perfect.
Always a must on our dinner reservations when we are in town. The food was excellent as always and I appreciate the local fresh catch they add to their menu daily. Great preparation and paired really well with the items on the dish. We have never had an off meal and have gone here especially for their souffle’s. The souffle’s are excellent even on this tome where the traditional dessert seems to be falling off everyone else’s menu.
I love this place........food is great, wine list very nice, service is always amazing. Had the Hanger Steak & Frites with a French Gamay wine ($10 glass) and my steak was served with a choice of Bernaise/or Green Peppercorn..........I love Bernaise....
Stella is a great server; love when I get her, knows her stuff.
One of my favorite Mt Pleasant restaurants
As usual, food was wonderful. This is a great neighborhood French restaurant.
As always, the food is delicious and a great value.
Best Chicken I have ever had. Great value and friendly staff.
Fantastic food as always. Continental ( no rush) service. We love it !
This was our first time at Bistro Toulouse. The service was excellent as our server was very good with making recommendations. The specialty drinks were very good. We each ordered something different, and our meals were incredible. We are definitely planning to return.
The Brunch was fantastic. The food and atmosphere were great. Adam was a great server who made terrific suggestions.
A neighborhood gem with excellent food and service. Very cozy and welcoming.
The food was very good. Never had a bad meal at the Bistro. Waitress was very attentive. Will go back soon
Late Valentine’s Day dinner with the fiancé, we had great cocktails and mussels to start which were delicious. Followed by beef Wellington and scallops, both cooked perfectly. We didn’t go for the soufflé because we are creme brûlée fans, and it was amazing. Next time we will try the soufflés!
