What a hidden gem in Mt Pleasant! The food is delicious (loved the Beef Tartare and REALLY loved the French Bread!) The staff was friendly and laid back. We will definitely be back again!
Amazing always! We enjoyed everything about the evening!
Top notch brunch!
We plan on coming back for the lunch & dinner menus.
The freshest food!
Anne is very knowledgeable!
Candace really cares about your dining pleasure.
Matt is a fabulous chef!
The food is great! Enjoy the BEST brunch in the Charleston area
Great place to enjoy talking and good food! Great service too!
Hadn't been here in a while and it's still very good, especially if you like French cuisine.
We arrived a little early, were seated directly and were greeted by our server promptly. We ordered a nice bottle of Chablis, a salad to split , a cheese plate, the mussels and the North Carolina trout. All of our items were excellent, except the mussels. About 25% of the mussels were very chewy and not edible.
The service was attentive but not intrusive.
The price was fair.
There were a number of locals at the bar.
We would definitely return.
A hidden gem in mt pleasant. Personable service, great food.
Food always good. Stella awesome server!
Restaurant was suggested to us by friends. Local gem, hidden in plain site in Mount Pleasant. Food and wine pairings during restaurant week were superb! Service was impeccable! Very friendly place. Other patrons and the staff were attentive and very pleasant! Drinks and food were all excellent and presented elegantly! We definitely want to return to try brunch or other dinner offerings! A wonderful, vibrant, local restaurant! We had a great evening!
Great overall. Restaurant week was a bonus. The food was better if possible than last experiences. Well done thanks
The mussels are scrumptious!
Try the wreck fish!
It is Devine!!
Always consistently good food, service and wine. If you're craving French food, this local place is great. Highly recommend reservations.
Bistro Toulouse is my favorite Charleston restaurant. Always fantastic food and affordable and available FREE parking. My last visit took advantage of Restaurant Week offerings and the wonderful wine pairings. I have recommended Bistro Toulouse to many friends and will continue to do so.
Very pleasant experience. Good for a quiet brunch. Definitely want to go back.
We went for a date night during restaurant week. The food was spectacular-fresh and full of flavor.
Our friends and we enjoy the ambiance of Bistro Toulouse. The location in a small shopping center can lead folks to dismiss it as a "poor cousin" of the bigger restaurants, but It is very much like a local eatery in provincial France. The food is well prepared and presented. The ingredients are fresh and the combinations tasty. Because the space is small, it is a nice place for a quiet, intimate dinner with friends. The service was excellent; we were waited on promptly, but there was no rush to push us out the door.
The restaurant week menu is tops!
Thank the chef!
Amazing! Bistro Toulouse was on our list of must-tries for Charleston Restaurant Week 2019. Everything was delicious! Don’t be fooled by its unlikely location, or small size...inside, the flavors are “tres magnifique”. We will definitely be back!
Our 12th trip ...our favorite in all of greater Charleston
It is a good place for a weekend brunch with excellent shrimp crepes, and
well seasoned mussels. The service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive.
I have been here several times before and plan to return.
Great food and service once again
I was pleasantly surprised with my dining experience. The food was great, our server was knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. We finished with soufflés which were perfectly prepared and presented. I will definitely return!
Food was scrumptious Service good. Would give it better review if they ever had frog legs on the menu.
Had the duck. It is always great. Really nice wine and great appetizers as well
Delicious fresh French food! 😋
Been here many times. Always on our list of restaurants to visit while in town many times per year. Great regulqr memoir and food in menu but always go here for the fresh seafood specials. As well as one of the few restaurants who do souffles which re a must to visit. Thanks to the chef who has the courage to keep it on the menu !!!! Great !!!
Service was a bit off this time??
Normally great , Maybe just an off night
As usual, an outstanding meal.
We had an early reservation. Our hostess put us next to the kitchen as we passed multiple empty tables. We were told those were reserved!! I guess we didn’t count.
We opted for the bar instead of the kitchen. The bartender was very attentive. We enjoyed our meal and the service was very good.
As usual we had a fabulous meal and enjoyed the service and atmosphere. Stella is always a joy. The food is incredible.
Poor food that lacked flavor or any detectable seasoning.
Check your work before publishing and distributing a menu. I didn't want POTATOES since I'd had them four days in a row while traveling. My dish was described as containing "Pommes," a French word for APPLES. Instead it came with POTATOES or "pommes de terre." I'm not trying to be a elitist snob here, but if the restaurant wants to impress with an all-French menu, get it right.
Thank you Matt for making my father chicken tenders!
loved the snapper with lentils & spinach. served hot and was delicious. have not been in a long time, and plan to come back often
Great food and great welcoming service. Good value. We will be back again!
I recently had lunch here after not being at the restaurant for some time. It was excellent, with a terrific baguette (hard to find a good one in Charleston/Mt. Pleasant) and a tasty crêpe with a side of crunchy frites. Bistro Toulouse is always reliable, like a good friend.
Great food, great wine. We come for the mussels about once a month, but all the food is good (except for the pork chop - too fatty every time).
Wonderful service. Very knowledgeable of menu
Consistently great food, and the service is always good!
Always a great experience at Bistro Toulouse! Food and service was amazing.
