We use fresh, high quality ingredients prepared with sensitivity and care. Our dishes include French bistro classics, seasonal specialties and daily specials to showcase the creativity of our culinary team.
What pairs better with great food than great wine? Bistro Toulouse offers wines that complement our cuisine. Our focus is on French varietals and traditional styles of production, though we offer wines from all over the globe, including 18-20 selections by the glass. Our seasonal house cocktails include creative beverages made with our own infused liquors and syrups.
One of my favorite Mt Pleasant restaurants
As always, the food is delicious and a great value.
Fantastic food as always. Continental ( no rush) service. We love it !
This was our first time at Bistro Toulouse. The service was excellent as our server was very good with making recommendations. The specialty drinks were very good. We each ordered something different, and our meals were incredible. We are definitely planning to return.
The Brunch was fantastic. The food and atmosphere were great. Adam was a great server who made terrific suggestions.
A neighborhood gem with excellent food and service. Very cozy and welcoming.
The food was very good. Never had a bad meal at the Bistro. Waitress was very attentive. Will go back soon
Late Valentine’s Day dinner with the fiancé, we had great cocktails and mussels to start which were delicious. Followed by beef Wellington and scallops, both cooked perfectly. We didn’t go for the soufflé because we are creme brûlée fans, and it was amazing. Next time we will try the soufflés!
Delicious lunch and great server!! Will be back many times!
Bistro Toulouse is a neighborhood gem and I'm sort of glad not more people have found it. The food is always high quality and well prepared; go for the daily specials. Service is superb. Too bad I don't indulge in dessert too often -- they are wonderful, too.
We have been there many times with great satisfaction ,but this year's Valentine's Dinner was excellent. The wine pairings were very good and worth the upgrade. All the food was very tasty and only small criticism was the second course was luke warm, but the flavors were superb.
Fantastic food with gorgeous plating. The kitchen REALLY knows their job. Wine pairing for each dish was perfect. Service was meh... but all in all a great experience.
Food great as always and Stella is a 5 Star server!
Love everything about this restaurant ❤️❤️❤️
Arrived to find the computer was down so no credit cards accepted.
We drove to 2 banks to find a working ATM. I think a phone call to let us know this before we arrived would have been the thing to do.
As we go to this restaurant fairly often a free dessert would have been a nice thank you for our unexpected bank trip.
So glad to have this great place in the neighborhood. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Candice and Matt are great!
Just wonderful... we’re locals and it’s our favorite MP restaurant! And we love when Ann is our server
Excellent food and service. However, my soup was served so hot that (even after waiting a few minutes) I burned my mouth so badly that the rest of dinner was ruined. The handle of the crock was too hot to even touch. I like hot soup but this was totally ridiculous. You would have to wait until your desert was served even to eat the soup starter, as it would take that long to cool off. Let’s be more realistic about the soup temperature. No soup should be uneatable due to temperature.
We will be back for sure, great gem to dine at. The food was great and the service was top notch!!
A real French bistro. Menu and wine list are excellent. Food is authentic and wonderful. Service is great and accommodating. It’s a real find. You may not like the shopping center setting, but you will quickly forget that as soon as you enter and dine.
We have been here before and enjoyed it-
This time, dinner was delicious! Not sure if there is a new chef, or what changed- but our meal was really outstanding.
Our friendly, professional and attentive server, Anne, made sure BDay celebration was great by bringing a candle on the wonderful Chocolate Soufflé! Eggs Benedict, Fish Special and Omelets were great as always!
Date Night for us! We enjoyed such a wonderful evening! Everything was perfect!
We were a little fussy about where we wanted to and the hostess was nice and accommodating. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable.. The food was delicious and a great value. The wine paring was wonderful. We did restaurant week menu. The bill was extremely reasonable. We have been many times before and we will continue going and recommending it to everyone.
I am generally a big fan of Bistro Toulouse, both food-wise and service-wise
I was, therefore, surprisingly disappointed in my recent visit
Perhaps as it was Restatant week?
The Waiter was mediocre...did not add value to our questions of the potential selections
The recommended entree of chicken in wine sauce was mediocre — and I m being kind
My guest mentioned that she would not be going back
But not during Restaurant Week or with the same waiter
Great Restaurant Week venue. Value for food quality. The wine pairings were perfect. It was a really good friends dinner. Waitstaff were attentive without being obsequious. They realized it was our experience and not about their convenience. All that added up to a great experience. Thanks BT, you did it again!
This is one of our go to restaurants but tonight was very disappointing. The mussels were great! Soup and entree were so salty was unable to eat ( consensus at table) my coq au vin was disappointing as well, chicken wing and leg were minute with little or no meat. 😭😭. Must be be a new chef????
Stella was a awesome waitress
The restaurant was packed
Our food was magnificent
The wreckfish was the BEST I have ever had
Truly a five star lunch!
Wonderful and I will return.
Very good food, but the kitchen was pretty slow with the restaurant full. The space isn’t ideal in a strip mall, but they have done a decent job making it cozy.
They were busy at 11:30 for restaurant week and under staffed. Because of this, staff was attntive but impersonal, rushing from table to table.
Mushroom soup was salty. Mushroom crepe delicious.
Its in a strip mall; the room is long and open, not like a bistro. Decor is sparse but tastefully art deco.
Came early for our rez.and sat at the bar instead. Enjoyed the experience very much. We’ll be back.
What a treat! We only recently learned about Bistro Toulouse and know that we will be regulars. Shopping center location and casual ambiance, but with authentic and creative French cusisine. We both enjoyed the three course restaurant week menu and all six dishes were fabulous. Excellent wine list with reasonably priced options. We'll be back.
soup was cold sent back for warming very good lintel soup
This is a hidden gem in Mount Pleasant. The service is outstanding, the wines are great and the atmospheres and food are authentic. Carolyn was our server and she was welcoking, friendly and helpful with the menu.
One of our favorites in Mount Pleasant!
The mussels are always great and the bread that they serve with them is to die for!
This is a little gem.
Even though we were there for the first night of Charleston restaurant week and the place was quite busy, our service was excellent. The food, as always, terrific. We love their dessert souffles.
Fabulous brunch at Bistro Toulouse. The freshly made beignets and gougeres, the amazing onion soup, then the dessert....everyone was happy from the foodies to the children (they have an excellent children’s menu, too).
Crepes in past have been old and hard to cut. Inconsistent food prep.
