Bistro Seven Three has a little bit of everything. For those looking only for a light soup and salad, the baby arugula salad is always a good selection. For some fresh seafood, Bistro Seven Three delivers as well with dishes like the sesame seared ahi tuna. You really can't go wrong with any selection, as you can count on your food being cooked to order with only the freshest of ingredients.
Bistro Seven Three is a fine dining restaurant that has a great ambiance suitable for almost any type of gathering. It is popular with the lunch crowd, with many a family being gathered for dinner there every evening.
I read lots of great reviews for Bistro Seven Three. We had dinner was to celebrate my dad's birthday. The food was amazing, and the staff was great and friendly. They even had a children's menu for my nephews. We paid a great price for the amount of food we ordered for dinner. I definitely recommend it and will go back one day.
It was very busy.. restaurant was phenomenal but could have used another waiter or waitress
The food was good. That's about all that was. Though we were told we could be seated early if we arrived before our reservation (and did), we actually were seated well after the reservation time. From the moment we entered the din was overwhelming, conversation was impossible without shouting, and everyone was. I left with a crashing headache. Service was very slow, though helpful. Disappointing.
Soup special and Scottish salmon were delicious. Table agreed other pasta entrees just OK. Disappointing wait of over 30+ minutes between appetizers and main course. Loud noise level inside the restaurant made our table conversation extremely challenging.
A nice find in Bernardsville . Cozy ambiance...even an outdoor dining terrace.. We went for lunch and it was quiet. Lovely crabmeat salad with arugala, pistachio, Apple, cheese. Very enjoyable. Would go back!
Excellent food and service as always. One of our favorite restaurants in the area with consistently good food. Sushi pizza appetizer and short ribs are house specialities and always delicious.
We've enjoyed very much a birthday dinner at Bistro Seven Three. Service was very attentive. In addition to an inviting menu there were quite some daily specials offered. It was easy to substitute side dishes. And the BYOB keeps the check in check! We will certainly visit again.
Great for lunch and dinner. Had both at Bistro 73 recently and the food/atmosphere is fantastic along with the service. Casual and fun! Food was excellent - menu should suit everyone - not too lengthy and all meals are great.
We are so lucky to have this gem of a restaurant in our town. They always make you feel so welcome and the food is reliably fabulous all the time. I’m addicted to the sushi pizza and their pork chop is just indescribably ridiculously good!
The food and service was excellent. Our first visit and we will definitely be back. A local gem!
One of our favourities in the wider area: great variety and quality of food, nicely decorated and flavored, very friendly and hospitable owners and staff. Highly recommendable for both, informal and formal meals.
Saturday afternoon lunch with family and a lovely experience at Bistro. The service was attentive and when the food arrived it was fresh, hot and very good. Onion soup flavorful and very cheesy. My Casear salad was one of the best ever; freshly grilled chicken and a flavorful dressing. Crab cake sandwich with fries also light and tasty with the perfect bun.
Good service but food quality just ok and prices pretty high compared to other restaurants in the area
Never disappointed at Bistro Seven Three. The service is so gracious and welcoming. The food is always delicious. My friends and I come here to celebrate our birthdays. Sometimes there’s a fleeting idea to change it up and go to another restaurant but then we just say “why”. It’s always an enjoyable experience.
Always great food, immaculately prepared. Appetizers have gotten bigger. BYOB might save a few dollars.
Wonderful service and wonderful food in a lovely setting...our server Vinny
explained the menu and specials and gave us plenty of time to catch up with other party members...the ragu and pasta was to die for..and we were allowed to select a half portion...the eggplant as well as the crab and guacamole appetizers were excellent...a huge plus is the restaurant is BYOB ...This is a dining pleasure that should be visited against and again
Everyone is warmly welcomed and made comfortable at this Bernardsville favorite whether newbie or regular. The scallop entree was outstanding with the lightly spicy sauce just right and not overwhelming the scallops. The Zuppa de Pesche is a personal favorite as are the mussels. The salads were fresh and well thought out. The barley vegetable soup was perfect. With the BYO provision we are able to have the wines we like. Va Bene.
Bistro Seventy-three is a neighborhood gem. The service is professional and efficient. The cuisine is superb with one or two great specials offered. This is a BYOB with attentive wait staff. The Branzino and Ribeye steak entrees were excellent. The chopped house salad was good albeit a little steep in price at $11. We celebrated Valentine's Day very nicely here. We would dine here more often if we could afford the tariff. All in all an excellent experience!
Wonderful meal. My husband had the Coq au vin and it melted off the bone, very delicious.
Calamari fresh and a huge portion. BYO makes it truly a bargain.
Chicken in my scarparielo was very dry, onion soup was great but a but too much cheese. Overall ok
One of my favorites! I've never had a bad meal...absolutely outstanding every time we visit.
First time having lunch here. Great menu and service
Our second time here. We’ve had lunch and dinner now. Again food was fantastic. Service and ambience were great. Will definitely be coming back.
Friendly and courteous staff, attentive and efficient service throughout. Very flexible with menu to split and share 3 course or family style. Braised short rib dinner outstanding with a salad starter and split pasta primi. Quality of food always exceptional. Penne bolognese the best.
We enjoyed a New Years Eve early dinner for 4. All enjoyed the food. Service was friendly and professional. We will return to this Bernardsville favorite.
Excellent BYOB! My date & I had a very early seating for dinner on New Year's Eve. The wait staff was very professional and attentive, and the food was delicious. We'll be back!!!
Barely 4 stars. Good but not great food. Doesn’t have a “wow“ factor. Crowded, so it can get pretty loud when full. Pricey, expect to pay $40-$50 per person with tax/tip but without dessert. BYOB. Parking on the street or in a small adjacent lot not an issue.
I had the swordfish special which was phenomenal! Guests had the coq au vain, bistro ragu and Bolognese all out of this world! Everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere the day after Christmas :) the limoncello and cookies at the end of the meal are the perfect touch.
Four of us ordered specials. Three of us could not eat the food. No one at the restaurant even bothered to ask why our plates were full when we asked for the check. I don’t think it mattered to them. Perhaps it was because they hire people to serve and clear plates and not to care about anything else.
Usually order from excellent regular menu, this time we went with the duck special, superb. Chief out did himself. Always good.
The food and service are terrific. The staff went above and beyond to provide a memorable experience. The sushi pizza appetizer is yummy. The Berkshire Porkchop I ordered was cooked to perfection.
Great food and atmosphere!
This is one of our favorite restaurants. Awesome food and great service.
Enjoyed a simple lunch. Generous Ceasars Salad and panini. Not crowded or noisy.
After a bit of a wait (wasn't the restauarant fault as much as a large inconsiderate group that took 20 min after paying the bill to leave) we had a lovely table .. Food was good but not awesome.. Salad was below par few pieces of overcooked beets? Branzino was veey good.. Altogether veey good but not 5 star.. Bit loud also
We met friends here for dinner on a Friday night. We all had a lovely time. Food was excellent as was the service! Remember to bring your own wine (we did).
Great food and service. Lunch menu was full of great options. Definitely will go again soon.
We will definitely be back!
very disappointed just alright. Very rushed brought dinner while we were still eating salad. Order coffee not finished and they ask us to move seats because they need our table to make a four. Very rude we had a 6:15 they gave 1 hour to eat.
They seated us at Table 30, a corner table which gave us the ability to relax and speak to each other without shouting. The food was great and the service was exceptional as always.
